Abstract

This research investigates the effectiveness of a class management-based role-playing learning method on the learning outcomes of fifth-grade elementary school students in Pendidikan Pancasila. This research is a quasi-experiment with a pretest-posttest control group design. The research population consisted of 48 students divided into two groups: an experimental group and a control group. Data were collected based on the posttest results, which consisted of multiple-choice questions that had been previously tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis included normality testing, homogeneity testing, independent samples T-test, and N-gain analysis. The results of the research showed a difference in the mean posttest scores (experimental group = 65.54; control group = 51.00). The independent samples T-test showed a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000 (<0.05) with an N-gain value of 46.4135, indicating a significant difference in learning outcomes between the two groups. In conclusion, the application of a class management-based role-playing method can effectively improve learning outcomes in Pendidikan Pancasila, particularly in the material "Kronologi Sejarah Kelahiran Pancasila".

Abstract

This study aims to measure the effect of earning opacity and tax planning on accrual quality with debt cost as a moderation variable in Energy Sector Companies (IDXENERGY) listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sample of this study is based on 184 annual observations of companies listed on IDX in Indonesia during the period 2019-2022. This study uses a panel regression model to test the hypothesis. The results show that earning opacity with proxi earning aggressiveness significantly affects the quality of accrual. Meanwhile, tax planning has no effect on the quality of accruals. Meanwhile, debt costs are not able to moderate the influence of earning opacity and tax planning on accrual quality. This study makes a significant contribution to the accounting literature on how earning opacity is a factor that can have an impact on the quality of accruals which can ultimately lead to the low quality of information produced by the company.

Abstract

Sphagnum, which belongs to the Bryophyta moss group, is known as peat moss due to its primary role in the formation and accumulation of peat. Studies on the antioxidant potential of Sphagnum moss in Indonesia have not been reported. Therefore, research on the antioxidant activity potential in Sicike-cike Nature Tourism Park (TWA) is necessary. This study aims to analyze the phytochemical composition and antioxidant activity of ethanol extracts from four species of Sphagnum: S. cuspidatum, S. junghianum, S. palustre, and S. perichatiale. Extraction was carried out using the maceration method, resulting in dark green solid ethanol extracts. The solid extracts were analyzed for secondary metabolites using phytochemical screening. Antioxidant activity was determined using the DPPH method. The phytochemical screening results of the four ethanol extracts of Sphagnum showed the presence of alkaloids, flavonoids, tannins, saponins, terpenoids, and glycosides in varying compositions among the species. Meanwhile, the IC50 values ranged from 123.6347 µg/mL to 666.1506 µg/mL. S. perichatiale showed the highest antioxidant activity, indicating its potential as a natural antioxidant source. In contrast, S. cuspidatum exhibited the lowest antioxidant activity. These findings highlight the importance of Sphagnum as a valuable source of bioactive compounds with potential applications in pharmaceuticals and cosmetics.

Abstract

This study examines the policy capacity of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government in implementing the bureaucratic simplification policy, focusing on the transition from structural to functional positions at echelon III and IV levels. Using the Policy Capacity Theory by Wu et al. (2015), this qualitative research evaluates the analytical, operational, and political capacities through interviews and document analysis. The findings indicate that the Jakarta Provincial Government has sufficient analytical capacity supported by competent personnel and regulatory frameworks. However, operational capacity faces challenges such as uneven training and limited budget support. Political capacity is constrained by insufficient socialization and the lack of a clear work system for functional positions. The study concludes that while the policy is supported by adequate capacity, sustainable reform requires stronger political will, system improvements, and harmonization between central and local regulations.

Abstract

This research explores the historical evolution of Afghanistan's borders and their geopolitical impacts. The main goal of the study is to analyze how changes in Afghanistan's borders have influenced its security, economy, international relations, and domestic politics, as well as its role in regional and global power dynamics. The research uses a systematic review of historical sources, geopolitical analyses, and both qualitative and quantitative data. The sources include historical treaties, diplomatic documents, reports from international organizations, and academic studies published. The findings reveal that Afghanistan's borders have undergone significant changes throughout history, largely influenced by colonial powers and regional rivalries. These border changes have had profound effects on Afghanistan's national and regional security, contributing to issues such as drug trafficking, terrorism, and illegal migration. Additionally, Afghanistan's economy has been heavily impacted by unstable borders and political tensions with neighboring countries. The creation of artificial borders, such as the Durand Line, has also led to ethnic and identity challenges within the country. Due to its strategic location, Afghanistan plays a crucial role in regional and global power dynamics. The country's borders have not only shaped its internal structure but have also had significant implications for international relations and regional security. To stabilize its borders and enhance overall stability, Afghanistan must engage in active diplomacy, foster regional economic cooperation, and implement effective border management strategies. These measures can help strengthen Afghanistan's position in regional and global power dynamics, contributing to long-term peace and development.

Abstract

The process of treating patients in hospitals generally takes a long time and costs a lot. This can cause various problems, such as overcrowding of inpatient rooms, long queues of patients, and increased health care costs. Early discharge planning (EDP) is a strategy that can be used to reduce the length of patient care and health care costs. The aim of this research is to analyze the EDP implementation process at X General Hospital from March-May 2024. This research method uses descriptive research methods. Data collection techniques in this research are observation, interviews and literature study. The data that has been collected is then analyzed using the univariate method with the help of a fishbone diagram. The research results show that X General Hospital faces a number of challenges in implementing the H-1 discharge planning strategy. Some of the problems identified include lack of uniformity of understanding among doctors in charge of patients (DPJP) regarding the H-1 discharge planning program, lack of DPJP participation in socializing the program, lack of communication standards between patient care officers (PPA) regarding the H-1 discharge planning program to patients and their families, the absence of a policy regarding compensation fees for DPJP on the day the patient is discharged if no visit is made, lack of standardization in communication regarding patient discharge, as well as less than optimal coordination between PPA via telephone or WhatsApp, and also a lack of effective coordination with third parties or guarantors via telephone or email.
