Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic, which implements social distancing, has led to the emergence of new habits in carrying out work with remote working models such as WFA (Work from Anywhere) or WFH (Work from Home). Challenges in implementing remote working, both from the human resources and technology aspects, require adaptation processes. How an organization prepares its IT enterprise architecture to support the WFA process to run smoothly is crucial. On the other hand, limitations in resources and organizational focus will influence decisions in determining which technologies will be used and implemented in the organization and what obstacles may arise in the implementation of WFA and what new technologies the organization will use, whether they will use open source or internal source starting from the process of developing new systems.

Abstract

This study delves further into the use of viral marketing to boost customer loyalty, brand awareness, and brand trust in coffee shops. By looking at two case studies of coffee businesses that use influencer engagement and organic viral marketing tactics, a qualitative approach is used. By using two case studies with distinct approaches, we hope to shed light on how viral marketing can be successfully applied in a variety of situations. Eleven informants' interview data are evaluated through the use of coding and theming techniques. The study concludes that while the Story, Hype, Actionable, Relevant, and Emotional (SHARE) strategy is applied in both circumstances, the first case, which takes an organic approach, achieves higher levels of trust in the generated content than the influencer-involved case. Furthermore, the study reveals that the utilization of viral marketing tactics in conjunction with the SHARE concept has the potential to enhance consumer awareness, trust, and loyalty. This study makes a valuable contribution by providing in-depth understandings of the ways in which viral marketing can be utilized to improve consumer loyalty, brand awareness, and brand trust. It also closes a gap in the literature by explaining how Viral Marketing strategies can be strengthened through the application of the SHARE concept.

Abstract

Background: The Standard Inpatient Class Policy (KRIS) in Indonesia aims to provide equitable healthcare services, ensuring the same standards in inpatient wards across all hospitals in Indonesia. This policy has been issued since 2021 and is mandatory for all hospitals to implement by December 2024. The implementation of the KRIS policy impacts hospitals, necessitating analysis and mitigation of risks arising from its implementation. This study aims to provide an overview of the analysis and mitigation of risks in the standard inpatient class implemented by Hospital X. Method: Qualitative research using Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) in November 2023 involving 7 key informants, including Hospital Directors and Department Heads, regarding the mitigation of risks in the standard inpatient class using risk analysis matrices. Results: There are two criteria for the standard inpatient class that pose a very high level of risk, namely the building components lacking high porosity and the density of ward spaces and bed spacing. Conclusion: Hospital X implements risk mitigation by taking actions to reduce the impact of risks through room improvement based on related room reports, risk reduction mitigation by planning inpatient building renovations, and risk acceptance mitigation by allowing ward areas to be 9.8 square meters per bed.

Abstract

This research focuses on the implementation of Operational Excellence (OE) in the pharmaceutical industry, especially in companies that transformed from PT Askes (Persero) to the Health Insurance Organizing Agency (BPJS). One approach adopted is Lean Six Sigma (LSS) which is supported by the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) to improve the efficiency and quality of the production process. This research takes a case study on product A with a focus on improvements to hardness issues. Through the Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control (DMAIC) stages, traditional methods and advanced analysis based on Machine Learning (ML) algorithms are used to improve production processes. The results showed success in achieving significant improvements in the productivity index and quality of product A production processes, making a valuable contribution in the context of Operational Excellence research in the pharmaceutical industry. The LSS method, which has been modified by integrating with ML algorithms and MES, provides productivity aspects consisting of LT, PCE and TD, as well as quality aspects consisting of better Pp, Ppk and sigma levels. The modified LSS method also provides the potential for COGM savings of 2,66 billion Rupiah and reduces the risk of production process failure to less than 200 batches for every 1 million production batches. Based on this, it can be concluded that the development of the Lean Six Sigma method which has been integrated with ML and MES algorithms has the positive potential to increase OE at ABC Farma.

In Indonesia, legal entities can be subject to criminal sanctions for violations of the law which are regulated in various laws and regulations. The aim of this research is to investigate the effectiveness of implementing criminal sanctions against legal entities in law enforcement in Indonesia. The research method used is normative legal research. Data will be collected through literature studies, analysis of legal documents, and case studies related to the application of criminal sanctions against legal entities in Indonesia. The collected data will be analyzed qualitatively using a descriptive approach and content analysis. The research results show that the effectiveness of implementing criminal sanctions against legal entities in Indonesia is still low. This is caused by several factors, such as unclear laws and regulations, weaknesses in law enforcement, limited resources. This condition results in injustice for society, especially for victims of criminal acts committed by legal entities.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology in the current era is also utilized in creating environmentally friendly products, amidst the industrial world that is beginning to have social and environmental impacts, which can influence lifestyle and societal behavior, influenced by factors such as economic ability, awareness, and the abundance of goods proportional to the increasing needs of individuals, where appearance is a very important factor to be considered to enhance beauty. With increasingly fierce competition, the Somethinc brand creates quality and environmentally friendly beauty products while still considering the impact on the environment in the future. To address this challenge, this study aims to investigate the factors influencing the purchase intention of Somethinc products. Research data were obtained through an online survey involving 200 respondents. Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Model (SEM) with the SmartPLS 4 analysis tool. The results show that Product Innovation does not affect purchase intention, while green marketing and brand awareness influence purchase intention. Brand image mediates the influence of product innovation, green marketing, and brand awareness on purchase intention for Somethinc products among Generation Z in Indonesia.
