This research seeks to determine how the narrative method affects the speaking ability of SMAN 1 SIDAMANIK second-graders. This pre-experimental investigation with a population of thirty students selected groups using random cluster sampling. Before and after therapy, a narrative technique was used to collect data. Before and after the test, students receive instruction. The average score on the pre-test was 48.68, while the average score on the post-test was 54.97. Between the pre-test and post-test, the data indicate an increase. The research shows that the t-test is preferable to the t-table (4,827 > 2,04). The significant difference between the post-test and the pre-test suggests that the narrative method affects students' speaking ability. This demonstrates how a narrative approach can help students develop their public speaking abilities. The speaking component received the highest overall score, followed by syntax and speech, which received the lowest score, according to this research. Therefore, instructional methods must emphasize these elements.

The development of critical thinking skills has emerged as a global concern in a variety of fields, including education. The purpose of this research is to shed light on the connection that exists between one's prior knowledge and the mathematical critical thinking skills that are acquired through the use of quantitative methods. Collecting data through the use of mathematical instruments, mathematical critical thinking tests, and daily test data for the prerequisite material based on the average student's performance. High school students in the eleventh grade made up the study's sample population. The findings of the research indicate that there is a positive connection between mathematical background knowledge and critical thinking abilities in that subject area. It is possible to draw the conclusion that the material that serves as initial knowledge and is therefore a prerequisite needs to be studied extensively in order to have broad insight that contributes to the success of learning the subsequent material. In spite of this, the researchers discovered that the number of students who fell into the high and medium categories of critical thinking skills was lower when compared to the number of students who fell into the second category when it came to their initial mathematical abilities. In other words, there has been a rise in the proportion of students who score poorly on tests of their ability to engage in critical thinking. These additional aspects should be sought out and incorporated as research fodder in subsequent studies.

There are several difficulties for both teachers and students in EFL classrooms while planning lessons and activities. The way they deal with the challenge, the quality with which they perform the task, and the value they provide to the group are just some of the ways in which this circumstance reveals its solutions. In this research, we questioned SMKN 2 Magelang's business and management students to get insight into the challenges they face while trying to learn English. The researchers in this study used a qualitative approach by recording their observations and conducting in-depth interviews. The results were confirmed once the data was summarized and presented. The results show that ESL students experience a broad variety of challenges while learning English. This happened because of the wide range of pupils' starting points in terms of competency.

The The study investigated the influence of teaching strategies and geoboard resource on secondary school students’ achievement in mathematics in Oron Education Zone of Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. The research design adopted for the study was a quasi-experimental pretest-posttest design with 4×2×2 factorial arrangement with four intact class groups. Collaborative and expository strategies were used for the experimental and control groups respectively. The population of the study consisted of 4157 Senior Secondary One (SS1) students from 19 public secondary schools in Oron in 2021/2022 academic school year. A sample size of 235 students from four schools was used for the study. The instruments used in gathering data for the study were Geometry Achievement Test (GAT) with the reliability coefficient of 0.81 established using test-retest methods. Data gathered in this study were analysed using mean and standard deviation to answer research questions, and Analysis of Covariance using pretest and posttest scores as co-variates for the three hypotheses. From the results obtained, there is a significant difference in students’ achievement in mathematics when taught using expository and collaborative strategies with and without geoboard. Students do not differ significantly in their achievement in mathematics when taught using expository and collaborative strategies with geoboard based on gender. Students taught using collaborative strategy with and without geoboard outperformed students taught using expository with and without geoboard as a resource material. It is concluded that collaborative strategy is more effective than the expository strategy in enhancing students’ achievement in mathematics and that the interactive effect of collaborative strategy with geoboard as a resource material is higher than that of geoboard with expository strategy. Based on the findings, it is recommended among others that, collaborative strategies should be frequently used in teaching mathematics and that geoboard as a resource material should be adopted in teaching mathematics at the secondary school level to enhance students’ achievement in mathematics.

The process of analyzing education policy and providing facilities and infrastructure in educational units lack facillities and infrastructure preparation in the school environment can result in not carrying out the learning process effectively and efficiently. That way, policymakers and stakeholders are expected to be able to think through, describe, and identify the process of preparing facilities and infrastructure carefully to support the continuity of education. This research departs from field observations so as to obtain various solutions. With various sources of factual data as support in compiling scientific work and obtaining data from scientific literature such as journals and reading books using the library research method. The analysis used a qualitative research approach; the technique of collecting data was by observing at school and reviewing the literature. Focusing on the purpose of procuring infrastructure facilities can influence the learning process and the implementation of effective learning, so it is deemed necessary to analyze good educational policies even though there are obstacles and challenges financially. For example, from the results of the learning survey for the 2020–2021 school year, there are around 50% of students whose parents are financially constrained, so they ask for a reduction in school fees. The realization of learning depends on the extent to which schools, through educational policy analysis, describe and identify the facilities and infrastructure that need to be prepared. Government participation is determined by its policies in providing educational facilities.
