Abstract

Chrysanthemum is one of the most important flowers and has the highest consumption in the world. Apart from being used as ornamental flowers and cut flowers, several types of chrysanthemum are used as herbal plants, with their anti-microbial and anti-fungal properties, chrysanthemum plants are developed as a cure for tumors and cancer. One of the locations of chrysanthemum farming in East Java is Tutur District, Pasuruan Regency. Located at an altitude of 400 - 1,600 meters above sea level (masl), chrysanthemum cultivation in Tutur District is carried out by farmers who are members of the Agro Mitra Cooperative. In this community service program, several new problems were found from farmers who have used PLTS technology in greenhouses. The connection of an inductive load in the form of a water pump in a solar panel installation that uses a modified sine wave inverter causes the water pump and inverter to burn due to bad harmonic effects, so that the inverter will be replaced from the modified sine wave type to a pure sine wave inverter. The results of the activities that have been carried out are the assembly and installation of a pure sine wave inverter on a 1,400 Watt PLTS which is used to supply electricity to lighting for chrysanthemum plants and the irrigation process at Partners. Check the feasibility of greenhouse electrical installations. In addition, counseling and training on how to care for solar panels was also carried out. It is hoped that with this community service activity (abdimas), the provision of electricity from solar energy can help farmers improve the process of cultivating chrysanthemums because electrical energy will continue to be available. The application of pure sine wave inverters works better in handling various types of greenhouse loads, especially inductive loads. Besides that, with the pure sine wave inverter system, farmers do not need to worry if the PLTS system must be used to turn on the water pump for irrigation purposes.

Abstract

Sumberdem Village in Wonosari Subdistrict, Malang Regency, has agricultural products in the form of medicinal plants, one example is African leaves. This plant is used as a tea product for consumption by diabetics. SMKN 1 Wonosari is a partner that produces African leaf tea. To make African leaf tea products, use a dryer. The drying machine owned by SMKN 1 Wonosari was not optimal due to several problems when we used it. There were 3 problems when the team used the partner's dryer, namely the location of the heating element was not optimal so that the drying of the African leaves was not evenly distributed, the sharp edges of the racks could cause work accidents and the wheels on the drying mat were not strong enough to withstand the load. The solution to the problem used is repairing the dryer. There are 3 methods in community service activities carried out to achieve the outcome, namely the approach method, the reverse engineering method and on the job training. The result of this activity is an African leaf drying machine using a heating element on each shelf. This drying machine with 1450 watts of power has the advantage that the results of drying African leaves can be evenly distributed, drying time is faster and safer to use. The use of this drying machine partners can save production costs of Rp. 7,403 for every 4kg of wet African leaves.

Abstract

Refrigerant that is released into the environment will damage nature because of the chlorine. In addition, refrigerant is also a toxic substance and will damage the central nervous system and cause negative cardiovascular effects. To reduce the release of refrigerant into the environment, in this technical guidance, AC and refrigerator technicians were chosen as partners. AC and Refrigerator technicians are people who direct contact with the refrigerant. Offline Technical Guidance was carried out in the workplace by following strict health protocols during the covid 19 pandemic. For the provision of materials that do not use equipment, technicians were given via zoom meeting to reach all technicians at once. From the result of questionnaires , it was found that AC and refrigerator technicians have a good understanding of the effect of refrigerant on the environment, the effect on humans or the technicians themselves, the history of refrigerant, handling used refrigerant and safety and health at work.

Abstract

Abstrak - Usaha olahan yang menjadi khas Kediri adalah sambel kacang atau sering dikenal dengan sambel pecel yang mempunyai rasa gurih dan pedas. Mitra dari pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah usaha sambel kacang milik Ibu Erni yang didirikan tahun 1998. Proses pengolahannya adalah yang pertama menyangrai kacang sampai matang, kemudian mengiling bersama bumbu dan mengemasnya. Dalam proses penggilingan kacang diperlukan jarak yang lumayan jauh karena harus menggiling ke pasar. Dan di penggilingan juga beresiko untuk tercampur dengan sisa gilingan dari penggilingan yang sebelumhya, sehingga bisa mempengaruhi rasa dan kehigienisan sambel kacang tersebut. Asalah mitra adalah: 1. Aspek produksi (permasalahan menyangrai, penggilingan dan pengemasan); 2. Aspek pemasaran. (mendaftarkan PIRT, pendampingan pemasaran; pembuatan laporan keuangan secara sederhana dan pemasaran e-commers)

Abstract

Roads are the main means of transportation in everyday life. Transportation is divided into 3 parts, namely land, sea and air transportation. People really need facilities in transportation, because transportation will make it easier to increase people's income and can improve the economy in an area, both by the community itself and can increase income for a village. In the village of Pataan, Lamongan Regency, there is a temple that is a relic of King Airlangga. To get to the temple, residents or the community, as well as people from outside the city have to walk and the road is very up and down. The road during the rainy season will be very difficult to pass. So it takes road planning to build a road. The concrete road is the road to get to the temple location, because with the moving soil conditions in Lamongan, a road with the type or model of a concrete road is needed. Planning Concrete roads must be planned DED, and RAB first. Calculations from the RAB show that the concrete road work to get to the temple in Pataan village requires a budget for the work of Rp. 137,800,000, - (One Hundred Thirty Seven Million Eight Hundred Thousand Rupiah). Abstract

Sumberdem Village is located in Wonosari District, Malang Regency with an area of ​​426,310 Ha. The village was divided into four hamlets, namely Sumberingin, Rekesan, Duren Gede and Sumber Gelang hamlets. Located on the slopes of Mount Kawi, Sumberdem Village has a population of 4686 people consisting of 2328 men and 2358 women. These residents are members of 1296 families which are divided into five categories, namely Pre-prosperous 125 families, Prosperous I as many as 421 families, Prosperity II as many as 413 families, Prosperity III as many as 254 families, Prosperity III plus as many as 83 families. In terms of education level, the residents of Sumberdem Village have various levels of education. There were 145 illiterate people, 161 did not graduate from elementary school, 2912 people graduated from elementary school, 543 people graduated from junior high school, 381 people graduated from high school, 31 had bachelor's and master's degrees a1 person. SMKN 1 Wonosari where located in Sumberdem Village which has a major one of them is renewable energy. From this education sector, we can do service by providing grant assistance for small-scale wind power generation equipment as a learning medium for students of SMKN 1 Wonosari to provide knowledge and insight into wind power plant technology.

Abstract

Wood pellet is an alternative fuel made from wood waste, is one of the renewable fuels that is environmentally friendly, has a cylindrical shape and is hard, this is one of the energy conversions where the process of changing the energy form of wood waste which is randomly sized is converted into a cylindrical pellet form. This service is carried out to determine the impact of rising fuel prices on the pattern of fuel use in the tofu production process in Kab. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the efficiency of the system analyzed, namely the efficiency of the combustion system in the production of tofu. What is known is the direct energy input in each soybean cooking process and the pattern of energy use in tofu production. From the analysis that has been done to get wood pellet fuel to get maximum results for soybean cooking in a burning time for 1 hour it takes 1/2 kg of wood pellets, if done one day by burning for 8 hours in the soybean porridge cooking process it takes 4 wood pellets kg.

Abstract

Brick is currently one of the main ingredients in the manufacture of homes and offices, so it is necessary to improve the quality of brick production so that it has a long time of use and is safe in use. So that the service team chose one of the brick-making SMEs in Ds. Sumberbendo, where many people work as brick makers besides going to the fields to do farming. After the service team conducted surveys and discussions with partners, finally a brick mixer machine was made which was used to mix cement, sand, coral and sand into one dough that was used for the process of making bricks according to predetermined standards, with the hope that these bricks had a high selling value. because now many people make houses, housing and also many built offices can be an alternative as an option in making walls. After this service was carried out and tried to analyze in a simple way, when viewed from the production of bricks, it increased by 18% from the previous one which produced 270 pieces per day previously.

Abstract

Malang is the second largest city after Surabaya in East Java, and is one of the best colonial city planning results of the Dutch East Indies. This can be seen from the many relics of colonial architecture that still stand majestically and environmental systems that have historical value. Malang City Center in 1914 was located in kajoetangan area to Malang city square. Kajoetangan area of Malang city is located on Jalan Basuki rahmat gang VI, Kauman Subdistrict Klojen. Since April 22, 2018 Kajoetangan village has been designated as a heritage area by the Malang city government. Kampung Kajoetangan offers cultural tourism with historical education, by showing the architecture of dutch colonial heritage houses that are still preserved to this day. There are about 60 houses identified as colonial buildings. Not only the architecture of buildings, equipment or antiquities that exist there but also kajoetangan village still holds many remnants of past civilizations such as the tomb of Honggo Kusumo mbah, tandak cemetery, krempyeng market, Dutch irrigation, waterways, thousand stairs and other points that have high historical value in Malang. With all its advantages as a heritage village has a social impact on the economic development in the village. Now the village is visited by many local tourists and there are also foreign tourists. Based on this, a website was created to be able to publish kajoetangan village. Abdimas activities aim to train and assist kampung heritage youth in filling the content of this website so that they can update the website with the latest circumstances of the development of kampung heritage. The expected benefits of this training are: Kampung Heritage can be more famous and it is expected that the economy of the community will increase with the number of tourists visiting.

Abstract

Currently, the partner is one of the private vocational schools (SMK) which is the favorite choice of Malang city residents. In this regard, the activity provided is human resource assistance for the preparation of LKS activities in the field of graphic design with graphic applications embedded in the website. The need for this topic is essential for the school since the current curriculum has not covered it yet. The solution was offered to partners (both teachers and students as participants), giving them materials related to graphic design using graphic applications embedded in the website. Contribution to the public in the form of short courses aimed at partners with teacher and student participants with material related to graphic design with graphic applications that must be embedded in the website.
