Abstract

Heat exchangers are widely used in various industries because they have several advantages, heat exchangers have an overall heat transfer coefficient so they are able to transfer heat and have a low pressure drop (∆P), the problem is to reduce the pressure drop but have a high heat transfer coefficient which is very difficult. This research tries to provide a solution by adding Delta Wing shaped fins, with materials namely aluminum, copper, stainless steel and varying the distance and number of fins on the inner pipe (tube) to produce a heat exchanger that has a high heat transfer coefficient and has a pressure drop. the low one. The results showed that the variation in delta wing fin spacing in aluminum was 6.55%, copper 6.4% and stainless steel 11.61%, variation in the number of delta wing fins in aluminum 18.36%, copper 17.98%, stainless steel 20, 18% means that the effect of varying the distance and number of fins on the tube surface can increase the heat transfer coefficient with an increase of 3% for variations of 4/10 to 4/20 and increase the pressure drop.

Abstract

Kelompok Bakat Minat FISKOM Music Club (KBM FMC) memiliki anggota yang aktif dan tidak aktif dalam kegiatannya. Keaktifan anggota berkaitan dengan terpenuhi atau tidaknya kebutuhan dasar dalam hubungan interpersonal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan inklusi, afeksi, dan kontrol pada anggota KBM FMC. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian eksplanatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan wawancara terhadap 13 anggota KBM FMC. Data dianalisis menggunakan Teori Fundamental Interpersonal Relationship Orientation (FIRO) oleh William Schutz (1958). Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa ketiga hal tersebut berhubungan dengan keaktifan anggota KBM FMC. Setiap partisipan merasakan pemenuhan kebutuhan akan inklusi, afeksi, dan kontrol namun dengan batasan yang berbeda.

Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk melihat kontribusi career optimism terhadap work engagement pada guru honorer di SMA Negeri Sumatera Barat. Penelitian ini menerapkan pendekatan kuantitatif korelasional. Populasi penelitian mencakup guru honorer di SMA Negeri yang terletak di 7 kota di Sumatera Barat, dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 117 orang yang ditetapkan berdasarkan teknik cluster random sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner yang dikembangkan oleh peneliti untuk mengukur work engagement dan career optimism berdasarkan konsep work engagement dari Schaufeli & Baker (2004) dan konsep career optimism dari Rottinghaus dkk., (2005). Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan regresi sederhana. Hasil penelitian mengindikasikan bahwa career optimism memberikan kontribusi sebesar 79,4% terhadap work engagement.

Abstract

This study is purpose to obtain empirical evidence of government ownership effect to the materiality disclosure. Four control variables were operated in this research, namely profitability, leverage, independent commissioner, and industry type. This research was conducted on all government-owned companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2018-2022 period. The sampling method uses the non-probability sampling method with purposive sampling techniques. There are 19 companies that met the sample criteria, with a total of 95 observations. The results of the analysis find that government ownership has a positive effect on materiality disclosure.

Abstract

Tingginya permintaan pasar terhadap sirip hiu menyebabkan turunnya populasi hiu secara drastis dan memerlukan waktu lama untuk pulih kembali. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini yaitu menganalisis data jumlah tangkapan, alur proses produksi dan jenis-jenis sirip hiu dan prosedur perdgangan sirip Hiu di Kota Sorong Provinsi Papua Barat Daya. Metode yang gunakan pada peneliti ialah metode kualitatif. Terdapat 3 pengusaha sirip hiu, yaitu pengusaha X, Y dan Z. Jenis sirip hiu yang diperdagangkan yaitu hiu angus, hiu tikus, hiu kerbau, hiu coklat, hiu martil, hiu kerupuk, dan hiu hitam. Tahun 2021-2023 produksi ketiga pengusaha mencapai 4.433,65 kg dengan jenis sirip hiu tikus yang paling banyak di produksi pada tahun 2023 yaitu 382,93 Kg. Hasil produksi sirip hiu oleh pengusaha di perdagangkan keluar Kota Sorong dengan Tujuan Kota Surabaya dan Makassar. Prosedur perdagangan harus mengikuti syarat yang ditetapkan Loka PSPL Sorong yaitu dengan menyertakan Surat Pernyataan Tanggung Jawab Mutlak (SPTJM).

Abstract

One effort to make the country independent in terms of national development funding is by exporting its source of costs, namely taxes. Community compliance in paying taxes has an important role in helping the government accelerate national development and finance regional spending which is increasing day by day. This study focuses on analyzing the impact of tax morale, tax knowledge, and tax socialization on corporate MSME taxpayer compliance. The location of this study is at KPP Pratama North Badung, the total sample used is 100 taxpayers who were calculated using the Slovin formula with the accidental sampling method. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. The findings of this study reveal that tax morale, tax knowledge, and tax socialization have a positive influence on corporate MSME taxpayer compliance. The theoretical implication of this study is that it is able to explain the impact of tax morale, tax knowledge, and tax socialization on corporate MSME taxpayer compliance which is linked to attribution theory and compliance theory. The practical implication of this study is that it provides information and can be used as assessment material for the government and DJP to create tax policies in an effort to increase taxpayer compliance and for the North Badung Pratama KPP it is hoped that it will further increase tax socialization to deepen taxpayer knowledge, so that taxpayers will implement his obligations well.

Abstract

Mengkaji kue tradisional Gandjel Rel Khas Semarang serta bagaimana kualitas produk dan iklan mempengaruhi kebahagiaan konsumen, dengan brand image sebagai variabel intervening menjadi tujuan penelitian ini. Data primer dan metode penelitian kuantitatif digunakan dalam penelitian semacam ini. Demografi penelitian ini terdiri dari masyarakat yang sering mengkonsumsi Kue Gandjel Rel Khas Semarang. Penelitian ini mensurvey 143 partisipan dengan metode non probability sampling dan teknik purposive sampling. Memanfaatkan Skala Likert, alat pengolah data penelitian ini dibangun pada platform perangkat lunak SmartPLS 4.0. kepuasan pelanggan tidak berhubungan dengan kualitas produk, menurut penelitian ini. Citra merek dipengaruhi oleh kualitas produk dan iklan. Kampanye pemasaran berdampak pada kepuasan konsumen. Persepsi merek mempengaruhi kebahagiaan konsumen. Citra merek mempunyai peran memediasi kepuasan konsumen terhadap suatu produk. Memediasi hubungan antara citra merek dan kepuasan pelanggan adalah promosi.

Abstract

Objective in this study is to determine how students' knowledge about the cleanliness of the school environment, student attitudes and student behavior about the cleanliness of the school environment school. The population used in this study were elementary school students at YPK III Bethel Doom Elementary School. elementary school students at SD YPK III Bethel Doom. The research was conducted in October - November 2023, using the method ( purposive sample) with the basis of consideration is to take 5th and 6 th grade students as the main informants and based on the facilities owned in the school. As the main informant and based on the facilities owned at the school and suitable for research and suitable for research. Based on the results research results obtained related to Knowledge Waste Management in YPK III Bethel Doom Elementary School Students that waste management in the elementary school environment is classified as very good. This is indicated by the acquisition of values on the questionnaire is above the average value. While student behavior regarding waste management in the SD environment YPK III Bethel Doom is classified as very good. This is shown by the lack of garbage in the elementary school environment. The result of data analysis data analysis results obtained correlation between the two variables of attitude and knowledge <0.003 with sig (t.tailed) 0.493, it shows that the correlation between variables is significant. Or it can be concluded that there is a relationship between student knowledge and student behavior.

Abstract

Traffic accidents involving minors are  special and serious concern of the Sorong Regency government. Traffic violations committed by minors by not complying with the rules of driving on the highway cause an increase in traffic violations and traffic accidents which are also caused by parents negligence in supervising minors. The method in the research used is the descriptive method which is basic analysis to describe the general condition of the situation to facilitate the delivery of information presented in the form of tables. This research begins with a survey and data collection, in the form of primary data and secondary data. The approach method used in this research uses 3 approaches, namely: statute approach, conceptual approach, and case approach. Based on the results of the research obtained, problem solving in accident cases caused by minors using restorative justice is expected to realize a transfer of the process of resolving criminal acts out of the criminal court process and resolved through  deliberative / family process. Restorative justice is carried out through stages, namely; processing the scene of the crime, making minutes of the crime scene, conducting the investigation process, and giving time to the victim and the victim. As well as preventive efforts in reducing the level of traffic accidents are carried out by socializing or instructing to junior and senior high schools.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the types of figurative language in Justin Bieber’s songs in “My World” album and to implement the analysis of the figurative language of Justin Bieber’s songs in “My World” Album for 8th-grade students at the MES English Course. This research used the descriptive qualitative analysis method. The research data is taken from seven of Justin Bieber’s songs which are included in “My World” album, One Time, Favorite Girls, Down to Earth, Bigger, One Less Lonely Girl, First Dance, and Love Me. In this thesis, the researcher used Perrine’s theory by Johnson, G. & Thomas R. Arp (2018) about figurative language to make observations by observing, analyzing, and identifying which phrase contained the type of figurative language in Justin Bieber’s song lyrics. The result shows that there are 10 types of figurative language on “My World” album by Justin Bieber. There are 46 Metaphors (46%), 35 Hyperboles (32%), 7 Personifications (6%), 4 Symbols (4%), 3 Metonymies (3%), 3 Similes (3%), 3 Synecdoches (3%), 1 Irony (1%), 1 Understatement (1%), and 1 Paradox (1%). The most dominant type of figurative language found in Justin Bieber’s “My World” album is metaphor. After analyzing the types of figurative language, the researcher also implements to the 8th-grade students to take the questionnaire and their understanding about the figurative language as the data. The result of the implementation in students’ analysis of the figurative language in “Favorite Girl” song by Justin Bieber shows that of 10 students, only 4 students know about metaphor, and 10 students know the most about hyperbole.
