Abstract

Seblak Ceu Yani, a culinary business located in South Cikarang, Bekasi, was founded by Mrs. Yani and her two children in April 2022. Carrying the traditional Sundanese dish, seblak, this business offers a "buffet" concept with a variety of topping choices. Seblak Ceu Yani has succeeded in attracting customers because of its authentic taste and friendly service, especially for local people who like spicy food. However, like other small businesses, understanding financial health and business sustainability is very important for long-term success. This study aims to analyze the Break Even Point (BEP) of Seblak Ceu Yani to help business owners understand the amount of sales needed to cover fixed and variable costs, and to know the point at which the business starts to generate profits. The case study method proposed by Robert K. Yin (2003) was used in this study, with data collection from primary sources through interviews with Mrs. Yani, as well as secondary data related to financial theory and business management. The method used to calculate BEP is the unit contribution method, as explained by William J. Stevenson (2005), which involves calculating the contribution margin and dividing it by the selling price per serving. This study provides a detailed analysis of the costs involved and determines how many servings of seblak must be sold to reach the break-even point, as well as the sales target needed to achieve profit. The results of this study are expected to help Mrs. Yani in developing pricing strategies, managing costs, and setting realistic sales targets so that this business remains profitable. In addition, this analysis highlights the importance of financial planning and performance monitoring in small and medium enterprises (SMEs), as emphasized by Kotler and Keller (2016) and Hilton and Platt (2013). This study contributes to a deeper understanding of financial management in the context of the culinary business and the practical application of BEP analysis to ensure business sustainability.

Abstract

Corruption within Indonesia's BUMN remains a significant challenge despite various anti-corruption policies being implemented. According to the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), from 2004 to 2024, 181 corruption cases involved BUMN, with 38 cases occurring in 2024 alone. Major cases involving PT Timah, Pertamina, Asabri, Jiwasraya, and Garuda Indonesia have resulted in state losses reaching hundreds of trillions of rupiahs. Although policies such as Good Corporate Governance (GCG), a whistleblowing system (WBS), and gratuity control mechanisms have been introduced, their effectiveness remains questionable. The window-dressing phenomenon has made these strategies appear effective on the surface but fail to address the root problems. One of the primary causes of corruption in BUMN is a weak organizational culture. To address this issue, a comprehensive cultural transformation is needed, emphasizing the reinforcement of a strong culture of shame and stricter oversight mechanisms. A well-established culture of shame will create collective awareness that corruption is a disgraceful act harming the nation. Furthermore, implementing fraud control measures and enhancing transparency is expected to reduce corruption practices in BUMN. With a stronger cultural reform, BUMN can function more effectively as national economic drivers while increasing their global competitiveness.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the relationship between loneliness and smartphone addiction in overseas students at Padang State University. The research method used is quantitative correlation using accidental sampling as a sampling technique. The number of samples in this study were 156 overseas students at Padang State University. The measuring instrument used in this study is the smartphone addiction scale from Daulay (2023) which adapts the Smartphone Addiction Scale Development And Validation Of A Short Version For Adolescent from Kwon et al. (2013) and the loneliness scale from Maharani (2024) which adapts the measuring instrument from A Rasch Type Loneliness Scale from (Gierveld & Tilburg, 2006). The data analysis technique used is Pearson's Product Moment correlation with the support of the SPSS program version 26.0 for Windows. The results showed that there is a unidirectional positive relationship between loneliness and smartphone addiction in students who migrate at Padang State University with a low correlation value of 23% (r = 0.237; p = 0.003) which means that the higher the loneliness experienced by students migrating, the higher the smartphone addiction in students, and vice versa. The results showed that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted, which means that there is a significant positive relationship between loneliness and smartphone addiction in overseas students at Padang State University.

Abstract

Corruption is an extraordinary crime that has negative impacts on various aspects of life, including the economy, public trust, and government stability. Efforts to combat corruption in Indonesia have been carried out through various policies and regulations, including Law Number 31 of 1999 jo. Law Number 20 of 2001 on the Eradication of Corruption. One important instrument in supporting the eradication of corruption is the involvement of the public in reporting corrupt acts through a whistleblowing mechanism. This research aims to analyze the implementation of legal protection for whistleblowers in Indonesia based on Law Number 31 of 2014 on the Protection of Witnesses and Victims, particularly in providing protection for whistleblowers. In addition, the study examines the implementation of whistleblower protection policies and improving the effectiveness of legal protection for whistleblowers in corruption cases. This research uses a normative juridical method with a statute approach to analyze regulations that govern protection for whistleblowers, especially Law Number 31 of 2014, as well as policies implemented by Lembaga Perlindungan Saksi dan Korban (LPSK) and other law enforcement agencies. Data analysis is conducted using a qualitative analysis method. Based on the research findings, it is concluded that legal protection for whistleblowers still faces various challenges in its implementation. Normatively, legal protection for whistleblowers is regulated under Law Number 31 of 2014, but policy reforms are needed to strengthen the role of LPSK in providing more comprehensive protection for whistleblowers. With a more effective legal protection system, it is hoped that whistleblowers will be able to play a larger role in the fight against corruption, thereby promoting the creation of a more transparent, accountable, and integral legal system in Indonesia.

Abstract

Butterfly pea blossoms (Clitoria ternatea L.) and Moringa leaves (Moringa oleifera) are purported to possess antibacterial properties. The antibacterial effectiveness is attributed to the potent active chemicals it possesses. One of the topical antibacterial agents is gel. Gel is a semi-solid formulation including colloids intended for external application. This research seeks to ascertain the feasibility of formulating a hand sanitizer gel utilizing a combination of butterfly pea flower extract and Moringa leaves, as well as to evaluate the antibacterial efficacy of this gel preparation against the proliferation of Escherichia coli bacteria. This research employed the maceration process utilizing a 96% ethanol solvent for extraction. The utilized extract concentrations are 1:1, 1:2, and 2:1. Each concentration of the gel formulation underwent a physical evaluation, followed by an efficacy assessment against Escherichia coli germs via the well diffusion method. The data were examined utilizing a one-way ANOVA test. The research findings indicate that the amalgamation of butterfly pea flower extract and Moringa leaves is suitable for hand sanitizer gel formulations, with formulations II and III receiving favorable evaluations. In the antibacterial efficacy test, formulation II demonstrated significant results with an average inhibition zone of 14.167 mm.

Abstract

The widespread use of gadgets among early childhood has raised serious concerns, due to its potential impact on their social development. This study aims to analyze the influence of gadget usage intensity on the social development of children aged 4–5 years at Kober Ciwaka, Walantaka District. A quantitative method with an ex post facto approach was used. The sample consisted of 30 children selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using questionnaires and observations and analyzed with simple linear regression using SPSS. The results showed a t-value of -4.098 with a significance level of 0.000 (<0.05), and a correlation coefficient (Beta = -0.612) indicating a strong negative relationship between gadget usage and children's social development. The study concludes that the higher the gadget usage intensity, the lower the children's ability to interact, cooperate, and empathize. Therefore, strict supervision by parents and teachers over gadget usage in early childhood is essential.

Abstract

Proyek akhir ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan prinsip dasar animasi pose to pose dan timing dalam proses pembuatan gerak animasi 3D pada serial animasi Little Ammar Season 3 Episode 14 Shot 16–18. Proyek ini dilaksanakan di bawah supervisi PT Piapi Creative Media yang bekerja sama dengan Durioo+, Malaysia sebagai pemilik hak kekayaan intelektual serial tersebut. Little Ammar merupakan serial animasi edukatif bernuansa Islami yang ditujukan untuk anak-anak usia pra-sekolah. Fokus utama dalam proyek ini adalah pada pengembangan gerakan karakter yang natural, ekspresif, dan komunikatif guna memperkuat penyampaian pesan moral dan ajaran agama Islam secara visual yang menarik dan mudah dipahami anak-anak. Metode produksi yang digunakan mengikuti pipeline standar industri animasi 3D, dimulai dari tahap layouting, blocking, pembuatan keyframe, polishing, hingga compiling dan revisi. Penulis berperan sebagai animator yang bertanggung jawab dalam pengerjaan tiga shot (shot 16–18) dengan tingkat kesulitan berbeda, serta menerapkan teknik-teknik seperti child of constraint dan inverse kinematics untuk meningkatkan kualitas dan efisiensi produksi. Setiap shot dikerjakan dengan mengedepankan prinsip pose to pose untuk memastikan ekspresi karakter tersampaikan secara kuat dan jelas, serta timing yang disesuaikan agar ritme pergerakan karakter selaras dengan alur cerita dan emosi yang ingin disampaikan. Evaluasi hasil menunjukkan bahwa penerapan prinsip-prinsip dasar animasi sangat berpengaruh dalam menciptakan kualitas gerakan yang halus dan realistis. Selain itu, penggunaan perangkat lunak Blender versi 3.4 mendukung penciptaan animasi yang efisien dan fleksibel. Kendala utama selama produksi adalah manajemen waktu dan keterbatasan perangkat keras, serta tantangan komunikasi lintas bahasa dengan klien dari luar negeri. Namun, hambatan tersebut dapat diatasi dengan manajemen waktu yang baik, penggunaan referensi visual, serta kerja sama tim yang solid. Proyek ini membuktikan bahwa pendekatan teknis dan artistik yang tepat dapat menghasilkan animasi edukatif yang tidak hanya menghibur, tetapi juga memiliki nilai moral dan keagamaan yang kuat. Dengan demikian, karya ini diharapkan dapat menjadi kontribusi dalam pengembangan konten animasi Islami berkualitas untuk anak-anak di Indonesia dan pasar global.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengembangkan dan mengimplementasikan sebuah aplikasi pemesanan makanan dan minuman berbasis web untuk Kedai Biji Merah Kotamobagu dengan menggunakan metode Prototype. Tujuan utamanya adalah memodernisasi proses pemesanan yang selama ini masih manual, sehingga meningkatkan efisiensi dan mengurangi kesalahan input. Tahapan penelitian meliputi analisis kebutuhan (observasi dan wawancara), perancangan cepat (quick plan), pemodelan sistem (Use Case, Activity, Sequence, dan Class Diagram), pembuatan prototipe menggunakan PHP, MySQL (phpMyAdmin), Bootstrap, dan pengujian fungsionalitas melalui Black Box Testing. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan tingkat keberhasilan eksekusi setiap fitur melebihi 95%, dengan waktu respons rata-rata kurang dari 0,8 detik per permintaan dan akurasi data transaksi mencapai 100% tanpa terjadi kehilangan atau duplikasi data. Dengan demikian, aplikasi pemesanan berbasis web ini terbukti mampu mempercepat proses penerimaan dan pengolahan pesanan, mengurangi kesalahan input, dan memberikan kemudahan monitoring bagi manajemen Kedai Biji Merah Kotamobagu. Implementasi lebih lanjut dapat dilakukan dengan menambahkan modul analitik penjualan dan integrasi dengan layanan pengiriman pihak ketiga untuk mengoptimalkan jangkauan pasar. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kualitas pelayanan terhadap kepuasan masyarakat. Latar belakang dari studi ini didasarkan pada pentingnya peningkatan mutu pelayanan publik dalam rangka memenuhi ekspektasi dan kebutuhan masyarakat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 60 responden yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui penyebaran kuesioner yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah regresi linier sederhana dengan bantuan program SPSS versi 30. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kualitas pelayanan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan masyarakat. Hasil uji t menunjukkan nilai signifikansi < 0.001, yang berarti kualitas pelayanan secara parsial berpengaruh kuat terhadap kepuasan masyarakat. Uji F juga menunjukkan model regresi secara simultan signifikan dengan nilai F sebesar 1035.629. Sementara itu, koefisien determinasi (R²) sebesar 0.947 menunjukkan bahwa 94.7% variasi kepuasan masyarakat dapat dijelaskan oleh kualitas pelayanan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh disiplin pegawai terhadap kualitas pelayanan di sebuah organisasi. Pengujian dilakukan menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan teknik analisis regresi. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengukur disiplin pegawai dan kualitas pelayanan diuji reliabilitasnya dengan menggunakan uji Cronbach’s Alpha. Hasil uji reliabilitas menunjukkan bahwa kedua instrumen memiliki nilai Cronbach’s Alpha yang lebih besar dari 0,6, yang menandakan bahwa instrumen tersebut reliabel. Selanjutnya, uji t menunjukkan bahwa disiplin pegawai berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kualitas pelayanan, dengan nilai p < 0,001. Hasil uji F juga mengonfirmasi bahwa model regresi yang digunakan signifikan secara keseluruhan, dengan nilai F sebesar 803,260 dan p < 0,001. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa disiplin pegawai merupakan faktor yang sangat penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan di organisasi. Oleh karena itu, disarankan agar organisasi meningkatkan disiplin pegawai untuk meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan yang diberikan kepada pelanggan.
