Abstract

Skizofrenia adalah sindrom kompleks yang ditandai dengan gangguan pikiran, delusi, halusinasi, perubahan perilaku, dan disfungsi psikososial, yang secara signifikan memengaruhi cara berpikir, perasaan, dan interaksi individu dengan lingkungan. Skizofrenia, yang disebabkan oleh kelainan neurobiologis pada otak, sering kali menyebabkan gangguan fungsi kognitif, kesulitan ekspresi emosi, dan masalah interpersonal, yang dapat berujung pada kecemasan, frustrasi, depresi, hingga ledakan amarah, dengan halusinasi sebagai salah satu gejala yang paling umum. Salah satu terapi yang bisa diterapkan adalah terapi menulis ekspresif (expressive writing therapy).Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh terapi expressive writting terhadap perubahan harapan pada pasien skizofrenia di rumah sakit. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain studi kasus dengan pendekatan quasi eksperimen, one group pre-test and post-test. Responden berjumlah 3 pasien skizofrenia di RSJD Dr. Amino Gondohutomo Semarang yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Intervensi berupa terapi expressive writing therapy dilakukan selama tiga hari berturut-turut. Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi SHS-9 untuk mengukur harapan. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif dengan membandingkan hasil pre-test dan post-test. Semua pasien mengalami peningkatan skor SHS-9 yang menunjukkan bahwa intervensi yang diberikan memberikan dampak positif terhadap peningkatan harapan pemulihan pasien. Expressive Writing Therapy terbukti memberikan pengaruh dengan hasil seluruh pasien mengalami peningkatan skor harapan SHS-9 yang mengindikasikan harapan pasien menjadi kuat sehingga mempengaruhi pemulihan dan kualitas hidup pada pasien skizofrenia. Kata Kunci: Skizofrenia, Harapan,Expressive Writting.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of knowledge, attitudes, and community actions on the concept of healthy homes in Medan Industrial Estate, Medan Deli Sub-district. This study used a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional analytic design and random sampling technique involving 100 respondents. The data obtained were then analyzed using the chi-square test to test the influence between the variables of knowledge, attitudes and actions with the concept of healthy homes. The results showed that there was a significant influence between the variables of knowledge (p-value = 0.004), attitude (p-value = 0.016), and action (p-value <0.001) of the community with the concept of healthy homes in Medan Industrial Estate. The majority of respondents had good levels of knowledge, attitudes, and actions in supporting the creation of healthy homes, which were also supported by the physical condition of homes that meet environmental health requirements. Based on these findings, the study recommends the need for collaboration and support from various relevant parties including the government and non-governmental organizations to improve education and public awareness on the importance of healthy housing concepts, so as to expand the implementation of healthy homes in a sustainable manner in Medan Industrial Estate and surrounding areas.

Abstract

Interpersonal communication is an interaction between two people or a small group of people with some feedback effects. Self-disclosure has great benefits in improving self-understanding. Honest and open self-disclosure allows individuals to reflect on and evaluate their feelings and thoughts more clearly. This study aims to determine the effect of self-disclosure on interpersonal communication between parents and late adolescents in the city of Banjarmasin. This study employs a quantitative method with a correlational approach. The population was determined by the Central Statistics Agency to be 1,092,878, with the research sample consisting of 100 respondents aged 18–21 years. Data collection utilized a Likert scale with incidental sampling techniques, analyzed using simple linear regression analysis. The analysis results indicate a significant positive influence between self-disclosure and interpersonal communication, with a result of 0.567. This means that the higher the self-disclosure, the better the quality of interpersonal communication. The frequency distribution of both variables resulted in a moderate category.

Abstract

The development of information technology demands improved user experience (UX) in web-based applications. This study aims to recommend a redesigned user interface (UI) for the Bemitory website owned by BEM Fasilkom Unsika and evaluate its usability based on three ISO 9241-11 aspects: effectiveness, efficiency, and satisfaction. The research method used is Design Thinking, consisting of five stages: empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and testing. This approach explores the needs and expectations of users, particularly students of Fasilkom. The results show an increase in the average System Usability Scale (SUS) score from 45 to 94,5 after redesign. This score is categorized as “Best Imaginable” in adjective rating, grade “A”, and “Acceptable” in acceptability. Task completion effectiveness reached 100%, and time-based efficiency reached 0.16 goals per second. These findings indicate that implementing Design Thinking in website development effectively improves user satisfaction, efficiency, and effectiveness, and is suitable for creating more user-centered UI designs. Abstract

This study examines the perceptions of female students in the Beauty and Cosmetic Care Study Program regarding beauty influencer content on the TikTok platform, specifically regarding the Skintific Mugwort Clay Stick Mask. Against the backdrop of TikTok's increasing popularity as a digital marketing medium and the significant role of beauty influencers in shaping consumer opinion, this study aims to understand how student perceptions influence their intention to purchase these beauty products. A descriptive qualitative method was used with six purposively selected female students, involving in-depth interviews, content observation, and data documentation. The results indicate that students view beauty influencers as credible and inspiring sources of information, but remain selective, conducting additional verification before making a purchase. Content quality, social interaction, and influencer reputation also influence purchasing decisions. This study confirms that despite the strong influence of influencers, students' purchasing decisions are influenced by various critical considerations. Therefore, the role of beauty influencers is not absolute dominance, but rather part of a complex and active information ecosystem. These findings provide important insights for digital marketing strategies that seek to maximize influencer influence while maintaining the credibility and trust of young consumers.

Abstract

The issue discussed is the significance of the role of educators and the learning environment in supporting students' emotional growth, as emotional development significantly impacts social interactions, academic outcomes, and children's mental health. The purpose of this study is to understand how educators play a role in providing guidance, fostering enthusiasm, and nurturing students' emotional development through various positive activities both inside and outside the classroom. The methods employed include observation and triangulation of information from various sources, with an approach that positions educators as liaisons, supporters, assessors, and motivators in children's emotional growth. The study results indicate that teachers play a crucial role in helping students understand, regulate, and control their feelings, as well as developing social skills such as empathy and caring. Furthermore, character education implemented in schools can enhance students' emotional intelligence, ultimately improving their attitudes, discipline, and academic achievement. A supportive school environment also fosters students' emotional well-being, helping them cope with stress and develop positive interpersonal skills. In conclusion, education serves as a primary foundation for students' emotional development by providing appropriate guidance and encouragement, enabling students to regulate their emotions in a positive manner and engage effectively in social interactions

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi sistem manajemen pemeliharaan alat X-ray konvensional di Rumah Sakit Syafira Pekanbaru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen pemeliharaan yang dilakukan oleh teknisi elektromedis tergolong cukup baik, terutama melalui kerja sama dengan pihak ketiga untuk menjaga kinerja alat tetap optimal. Pemeliharaan harian dan bulanan telah dilaksanakan sesuai dengan standar yang berlaku. Kolaborasi antara teknisi internal dan pihak ketiga berlangsung efektif, meskipun masih terdapat ketergantungan dalam penanganan kerusakan berat. Namun, sistem dokumentasi yang masih bersifat manual menimbulkan potensi risiko terhadap kehilangan data historis serta keterlambatan dalam penjadwalan pemeliharaan apabila tidak dikelola secara sistematis. Oleh karena itu, disarankan adanya digitalisasi dalam pencatatan dan pengelolaan data pemeliharaan guna meningkatkan efisiensi dan akurasi sistem manajemen peralatan medis.

Abstract

Hooded eyes are an imperfect eye shape where the upper eyelid covers the eye crease, making the natural crease less visible when the eyes are open and causing eye makeup to be less visible. This study aims to determine the differences in hooded eye makeup results between those using eyelash sewing and eyelid tape techniques. This research method uses quantitative research with an experimental research type. The sample in this study were 10 hooded eyes in women aged 15-35 years who have yellow skin color. Data collection techniques used observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques used were normality test, homogeneity test, and t-test (independent sample test). The results of the normality test in the eyelash sewing group were 0.829 > 0.05 which means normal distribution, while the results of the normality test in the eyelid tape group were 0.931 > 0.05 which means normal distribution. The results of the homogeneity test have a significance value greater than the 0.05 level which is normally and homogeneously distributed. The results of the hypothesis test using the t-test (independent sample test) showed a P-value of 0.373 > 0.05, a calculated t-value of -0.944, and a t-table of 8, indicating that H0 is accepted and Ha is rejected. This indicates that there is no significant difference between the results of hooded eye makeup using the sewn-in eyelash technique and eyelid tape. Based on the judges' assessment indicators, the use of eyelid tape received the highest score of 13.666, while the sewn-in eyelash technique received 13.134. The results of this study can be used as a guide for makeup artists and individuals to determine the difference between hooded eye shapes using the sewn-in eyelash technique and eyelid tape.

Abstract

Tuberculosis (TB) is an infectious disease caused by the bacteria Mycobacterium tuberculosis (M. tuberculosis). The methods currently used in the diagnosis of TB cannot meet the requirements due to their low sensitivity. Molecular Rapid Tests (TCM) can produce different results because they require the doctor's accuracy in examining the results. One of the fastest methods available for diagnosis is the GeneXpert MTB/RIF test. GeneXpert is able to detect Mycobacterium tuberculosis that is resistant to Rifampicin. The use of the GeneXpert method can use saliva or sputum samples. The purpose of this study was to determine the difference in the results of the molecular rapid test using the Genexpert method with saliva and sputum samples in suspected tuberculosis patients. The research method used comparative research. A sample of 44 saliva and sputum samples in suspected tuberculosis patients at the Wanareja I Health Center. Data analysis using the chi square test. The results showed that there was a difference in the results of the molecular rapid test using the Genexpert method with saliva and sputum samples in suspected tuberculosis patients (pv = 0.000).
