Abstract

Cervical cancer is still a problem in Indonesia. The global prevalence of cervical cancer is 50 per 100.000 people, while in Indonesia it is 87 per 100.000, making it the second place after breast cancer with a CFR of 56%. The high mortality rate occurs due to late screening, so that almost 70% of cancer incidents are known at an advanced stage. VIA screening as a prevention can be implemented at health center by women of childbearing age (30-50 years) who are married. The target of VIA screening implementation in the national cancer plan is 70% of WUS have done VIA screening by 2027. Medan Deli Public Health Center has provided VIA screening services, but the implementation target has not been achieved. This study aims to determine the factors related to VIA cervical cancer screening among women at Medan Deli Public Health Center. This type of research is analytic research with a cross sectional approach. The sample consisted of 85 respondents, selected through purposive sampling with a questionnaire. Data analysis using chi square test. The results showed that knowledge (p<0,001), age of first sexual intercourse (p<0,001), access information (p<0,001), husband support (p<0,001), and health worker support (p<0,001) were related. While the variables of marriage history (p=0,661), family history (p=1.000), and distance (p=1.000) were not related. Factors related with VIA screening were knowledge, age of first sexual intercourse, access information, husband support, and health worker support. It is expected that public awareness of health improve by enhancing knowledge through adequate access to information and encouraging support from husband. Medan Deli Public Health Center can expand the target of health education and implement of Monday routine VIA check.

Abstract

The implementation of saving habits to form a disciplined attitude in children aged 4-5 years at TK PUTRA II Serang has been carried out well. Discipline is one of the important elements in the formation of children's character that can be developed through simple activities carried out routinely, such as saving habits. The purpose of this study was to describe how the implementation of saving habits can help form a disciplined attitude in children aged 4-5 years. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection methods through observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects of the study were children aged 4-5 years in group A1 at TK PUTRA II Serang. The findings of the study revealed that 1. The savings strategy implemented at TK PUTRA II Serang is quite good, so that by saving it can form a disciplined attitude in children such as obeying the rules, being responsible, and appreciating every process, 2. The challenges of implementing saving habits to form a disciplined attitude are in children, 3. The solution to the challenges of implementing saving habits to form a disciplined attitude in children aged 4-5 years at TK PUTRA II Serang involves the active role of teachers and parents in providing motivation for children in this saving and discipline habit.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of morning and evening breathing exercises on the psychological well-being of adults. The research used a quantitative method with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The subjects consisted of five adults from diverse backgrounds, selected using purposive sampling. The intervention involved mindful breathing exercises conducted twice daily for 7 days, with each session lasting 5–10 minutes. The instrument used was the DASS-21 to measure stress, anxiety, and depression, along with daily reflective questions to capture participants’ subjective experiences. Data were analyzed descriptively using both quantitative and qualitative approaches. The results showed that most participants experienced improvements in relaxation, self-worth, and reduced anxiety. Although outcomes varied between individuals, no significant negative effects were observed. The findings suggest that twice-daily breathing exercises have the potential to serve as an effective self-regulation strategy for enhancing psychological well-being. This study recommends incorporating breathing practices as part of non-pharmacological biopsychological interventions for stress management programs.

Abstract

The Indonesian National Police is one of the institutions that provides public services, especially in the current era of globalization. With increasingly tight competition and numerous challenges, the police are required to deliver quality services that meet the needs of the community. Improving the quality of public services is absolutely necessary, considering the increasingly informed and responsive nature of society toward any deviations in public service, often voiced through print and electronic media. Data collection techniques used in this study include interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis in this research is carried out using triangulation techniques.Based on the research findings, it was concluded that the implementation of police services at Maulafa Sector Police has not yet developed efficiently and thus must strive to perform its duties in the best possible manner to provide comfort and satisfaction to the community. The police must offer effective services that result in excellent public service, which in turn would indicate that the service is productive. Therefore, in efforts to achieve high-quality service, it is only fitting that the police improve their service quality in accordance with regulations concerning the enhancement of public service quality by government officials.

Abstract

Puri di Bali merupakan simbol warisan budaya yang memiliki potensi besar untuk dikembangkan sebagai destinasi wisata berbasis budaya salah satunya Puri Klungkung. Sayangnya, pengelolaan Puri Klungkung masih dikelola secara konvensional dan belum terintegrasi dalam model bisnis modern. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk membuat model kewirausahaan yang berbasis Business Model Canvas (BMC) yang dapat diterapkan di lingkungan lokal dan melibatkan masyarakat sekitar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif eksploratif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adaptasi BMC dengan 9 eleman yang menggabungkan nilai budaya dan struktur sosial lokal dapat meningkatkan efisiensi pengelolaan destinasi dan memberi masyarakat peluang ekonomi. Hasilnya tidak hanya memberikan kontribusi teoritis dan praktis untuk pembangunan pariwisata budaya yang berkelanjutan, tetapi juga menawarkan model bisnis yang dapat diterapkan pada pengelolaan aset budaya lainnya di Indonesia.

Abstract

Sistem Informasi Manajemen Rumah Sakit (SIMRS) telah menjadi kebutuhan penting dalam mendukung pelayanan kesehatan modern. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis permasalahan umum dalam implementasi SIMRS dari perspektif tenaga kesehatan dan manajemen rumah sakit. Metode yang digunakan adalah literature review terhadap 20 jurnal ilmiah nasional dan internasional yang relevan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa hambatan utama dari sisi tenaga kesehatan meliputi kurangnya pelatihan berkelanjutan, desain antarmuka yang tidak ramah pengguna, serta penambahan beban kerja akibat sistem yang tidak terintegrasi. Sedangkan dari sisi manajemen, keterbatasan anggaran, komitmen yang tidak konsisten serta ketergantungan terhadap vendor menjadi faktor penghambat utama. Beberapa literatur juga menunjukkan bahwa implementasi SIMRS yang berhasil umumnya ditunjang oleh pelatihan berkelanjutan, keterlibatan pengguna sejak awal, dan strategi manajemen perubahan yang terencana. Pembahasan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kerangka HOT-Fit dan Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) untuk menganalisis kompleksitas faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi implementasi SIMRS. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa implementasi SIMRS membutuhkan pendekatan holistik dengan dukungan organisasi dan sumber daya yang memadai guna memastikan keberhasilan dan keberlanjutan sistem informasi di rumah sakit.

Abstract

This study aims to explore how marketing communication strategies are applied by street vendors to promote their products, using a case study on Kebab Farhan at Pasar Gang Kancil. Employing a qualitative approach with a case study method, data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. The findings reveal that Kebab Farhan has implemented several communication strategies, such as word of mouth (WOM), limited use of social media, and consistent yet simple branding. These efforts are supported by direct personal selling from the owner, a strategic selling location, and product innovation through the unique “stir-fried kebab” cooking method. Brand identity is strengthened through business name, logo, and packaging, enhancing brand identity Despite operating on a small scale, Kebab Farhan's consistent and authentic approach successfully builds customer loyalty and sustains the business amid competition. This study illustrates that with proper understanding and application of marketing communication strategies, street vendors can compete effectively and grow their businesses.

Abstract

This study discusses the optimization of improving economic welfare for Social Welfare Service Recipients (PPKS) in Rusunawa Solokan Jeruk, West Java. The Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) method was used in this study which aims to identify the potential, needs, and active involvement of PPKS in the empowerment program. The results show that the program has succeeded in increasing independence, with several families starting small businesses and children returning to school. However, challenges in the form of social stigma and difficulties in adaptation still hinder the effectiveness of the program. Routine monitoring and evaluation are essential to ensure the sustainability and effectiveness of the intervention. This study recommends further studies on PPKS economic empowerment to strengthen a more inclusive and sustainable approach in social welfare policy.

Abstract

This study aims to digitally test the effects of emoji use in digital interactions among teenagers at Padang State University through the WhatsApp application. With a sociolinguistic, semiotic approach, this study examines and uses news submission, social relationship formation, and the formation of students' digital identities. This data was collected through in-depth interviews and content analysis of WhatsApp conversations. The results show that emojis not only play a role other than text, but also function as a means of emotional expression, which means confirmation, social status, and cultural symbolism of users. This study confirms the importance of emojis as an integral part of digital communication among young people. It is full of linguistic and cultural interests.

Abstract

Social media and the internet are the main platforms for Gen Z to communicate and share information. The use of social media has positive and negative impacts on its users. Frequent and repeated use of social media will create intensity of use. Social media can be related to rumination. Rumination is repeated contemplation of problems or negative feelings and referring to the meaning of the problem. Individuals who tend to ruminate are more likely to experience more severe depressive episodes. This study is useful for providing definitive data in seeing the effect of the intensity of social media use on rumination in Gen Z. Sampling in this study used non-probability sampling with a purposive sampling technique with a sample size of 85 participants. The data analysis method used one way ANOVA. The results of this study obtained a significant effect on the level of rumination based on the intensity of social media use in Gen Z with a p value <0.001.
