Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the improvement of student learning outcomes in PKn learning with Cooperative Learning model with Talking Stick type in Grade Fourth Public Elementary School Number 01 Bandar Buat. The approach used is qualitative and quantitative. The subjects were  teacher and 30 students. The results of this study indicate improvement in student learning outcomes. In cycle I obtained the average percentage of student learning outcomes 81 and on the  cycle II is 89. Thus, cooperative model type Talking Stick can improve student learning outcomes in learning Civics in class IV SD Negeri 01 Bandar Buat.

Abstract

The interest of students to become teachers is very worrying, as well as education students to become teachers really need attention. The importance of interest as a motivation for prospective teacher students to become professional teachers is the basis for the need to increase student interest in becoming teachers. This research aims to determine the influence of the campus teaching program on interest in becoming teachers among Jakarta State University students participating in the campus teaching program. This study uses a quantitative approach. The subjects in this research were Jakarta State University students participating in the class 5 teaching campus program. The results of the research showed that there was a positive influence of the teaching campus program on interest in becoming teachers among Jakarta State University students as indicated by a positive regression coefficient of 0.479. This means that every time there is an addition of one unit of the campus teaching program variable, the value of the variable interest in becoming a teacher increases by 0.479. This interest is supported by campus teaching programs, feelings about teaching, attention to the quality of education, ideals, and perceptions of the teacher's profession & welfare. Meanwhile, what hinders students from becoming teachers is mostly influenced by the perception of the teacher's profession and welfare as well as social friends. Based on the results of the research and discussion, it can be concluded that the campus teaching program has a positive effect on the interest in becoming teachers at Jakarta State University students.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the moral development of adolescents aged 12-17, particularly in the village of Boti, Kie District, South Central Timor Regency, along with the methods employed by parents in shaping their moral compass. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach, the study collected data through interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings encompass several aspects: Firstly, there exists a spectrum of moral behavior among the adolescents, ranging from those who are respectful and courteous towards elders to those who exhibit less desirable conduct towards peers and others. Secondly, parents utilize methods such as advising, demonstrating good habits, and serving as role models to instill moral values in their children. Thirdly, impediments to moral education include negative peer influence in the local environment, parental neglect, and the impact of technology. However, strong familial and positive environmental support serve as significant facilitating factors.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the factors that support the application of the Project Based Learning (PBJL) model in teaching Technical Drawing at Vocational High Schools (SMK). The background to this research is based on the importance of learning Technical Drawing in vocational schools and the challenges in its implementation, as well as the potential of the PBL model to improve the learning process. This research was carried out using the literature study method, where data was collected and analyzed from various sources such as journals, books and related articles. The research results revealed several main supporting factors in implementing the PBL model in teaching Engineering Drawing, such as teacher competence and understanding, student interest and motivation, availability of facilities and infrastructure, supporting curriculum and policies, as well as collaboration with industry. This research provides conclusions about important factors that need to be considered in implementing the PBJL model effectively and the implications of the findings for practitioners and further research.

Abstract

Problem Based Learning (PBL), is a learning model that is able to provide experience and an innovative learning model that can provide active learning conditions for students to solve a problem through the stages of scientific methods so that students can learn knowledge related to the problem as well as have the skills to solve problems. The main objective of PBL is to develop critical thinking, analytical, collaboration, and problem-solving skills in students. Jobsheet is one of the teaching materials that can support learning in the classroom. This study examines the effectiveness of the problem-based learning design model with the use of Jobsheet In the context of Building Construction learning with the use of Problem Based Learning (PBL), the use of jobsheets is very effective in improving learning outcomes and developing the potential abilities of students. This research shows that the Problem Based Learning learning approach that uses jobsheets as a complement is an innovation that refers to the general syntax framework of Problem Based Learning.

Abstract

Abstract The growth of digital technology has opened up new opportunities in learning methods, including the application of Game-Based Learning (GBL) in the field of building construction engineering education. This research aims to explore the impact and benefits of implementing GBL in teaching building construction theory through a comprehensive literature review. The literature review method was used to analyze empirical studies related to the use of games in learning building construction concepts, such as building design, project management, cost calculation, and construction simulation. The review results show that GBL can increase student motivation and engagement, facilitate visualization and understanding of complex concepts, and provide an immersive and interactive learning experience. However, the successful implementation of GBL depends on factors such as the design of games that match the learning objectives, integration with the curriculum, teacher training, and the availability of adequate technological infrastructure. This study concludes that GBL has significant potential in improving the quality of teaching building construction theory and preparing students for challenges in the dynamic world of work. Recommendations for further research and practical implementation are also presented to optimize the benefits of GBL in building construction engineering education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the use of learning videos in the material of the process of making concrete stones to increase the understanding of student literacy in the world of education. Using the systematic literature review (SLR) method, researchers collect data from previous research by analyzing and recapitulating research results in terms of the effectiveness of the media and learning models used. The results of the analysis in this study that are in accordance with the data obtained draw conclusions that the learning video media in the demonstration learning model in the subject of making concrete stones, helps increase students' understanding in understanding the procedures or steps of the process of making concrete stones.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out how effective Quizizz is as a learning evaluation tool at SMK Negeri 26 Jakarta. This research uses a qualitative approach with an open questionnaire, and data is collected through in-depth questionnaires distributed to students. The research results show that Quizizz has several advantages, such as increasing student motivation and involvement in the evaluation process, providing direct feedback that helps students improve their understanding, and making it easier for teachers to track and analyze student learning outcomes more easily. However, technical problems related to internet connectivity and initial adaptation to digital platforms were some of the problems discovered in this research. Overall, Quizizz has proven to be an innovative evaluation tool that helps students at SMK Negeri 26 Jakarta learn. Recommendations are given to develop modern learning media in the modern era and maximize profits.

Abstract

Building Information Modeling (BIM) is a process that involves creating and managing digital representations of the physical and functional characteristics of buildings. BIM is not just software but also a methodology that enables architects, engineers, contractors and building owners to work more effectively with integrated digital models. The purpose of writing this article is to evaluate the impact of using BIM (Building Information Modeling) learning media on student learning outcomes and interest in studying the Engineering Drawing II course, especially planning drawings, in the Department of Building Engineering and Civil Engineering Education. BIM learning media was chosen to increase students' interest in learning in this department, who previously used standard media such as Excel for calculating financing plans and simple building structures, as well as AutoCAD for engineering drawings with software. It is hoped that this research can help students think applicatively in projects that are used as learning materials. The method used is Literature Review, with a focus on reviewing 20 journals that are relevant to the title of this article.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effect of online learning in building engineering drawing subjects on students' conceptual understanding and practical skills. This research will evaluate the effectiveness of online learning in facilitating an in-depth understanding of the principles of building engineering drawing as well as students' ability to apply them practically. Apart from that, this research will also examine factors that influence the success of online learning, such as the level of interactivity, accessibility and quality of learning content.
