Abstract

This research aims to examine the integration of Project Based Learning (PjBL) and Pancasila Learning in improving elementary school students' critical thinking skills. The method used is a literature review by collecting and analyzing information from various trusted sources. Through this literature review, researchers can clearly convey and explain to readers why the chosen research topic is a problem that needs to be researched. This covers both aspects of the subject to be researched and its context, and explains the relationship of this research to relevant previous research. The results of the study show that PjBL and Pancasila Learning have the potential to improve students' critical thinking skills through project-centered, collaborative and meaningful learning. The integration of PjBL and Pancasila Learning can be an effective strategy for improving elementary school students' critical thinking skills. Teachers need to have adequate training and support to implement this approach effectively.

Abstract

The teacher as an educator creates situations so that students experience the learning process. Learning is a process of changing behavior that occurs as a result of external stimulation. Learning involves various elements in it, in the form of the physical and psychological conditions of the person studying. This type of research is qualitative research. Qualitative research is research intended to understand the phenomena experienced by research subjects, producing descriptive data in the form of written or spoken words from people and observed behavior. In this way, it can be said that this research is descriptive qualitative in nature. Discussion Results Learning media planning is an integral part of the school program, therefore it needs to involve all school components, both internal and external school personnel. It is hoped that the preparation of the media program can run in line with the learning program that has been created so that it can make a positive contribution to learning. Media management process learning must go hand in hand with the school program, it is necessary to form a learning media management/manager in elementary schools who is responsible for administering all activities related to learning media management. Understanding and knowledge about media management is important for officers in planning media programs, classifying media, grouping media based on the conditions of each school or based on certain subjects so that the media can be used optimally in the classroom and in storage areas.

Abstract

Reading is one of the factors to improve one's quality but unfortunately according to survey research conducted by the Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) released by the Organisation for Econoic Co-operation and Development (OECD) in 2019 Indonesia still ranks in the top 10 from the bottom for low literacy levels and interest in reading. Considering this, it makes us realise how important institutions such as libraries are in the community. The library's contribution to increasing people's interest in reading is in the form of providing reading materials and providing adequate facilities. Public libraries as a source of information and knowledge have an important role in educating the nation's life. One of the indicators of library progress is the level of community visits, this study aims to analyse the development of public library visitors within a certain period of time. The method used in this research is to collect data from various sources such as journals, scientific articles, and official reports. The data was analysed descriptively to describe the development trend of public library visitors. This paper will discuss the development of library visitors from various categories of visitors described in tables, diagrams and several measures in statistics.

Abstract

This research aims to identify the methods used by teachers in processing data and student report cards. Data collection techniques include observation and interviews. Observations are used to study how teachers process data and student grades, while interviews are conducted to gain an in-depth understanding of teachers' data processing methods and report card grades. The research results show that teachers use various forms of data presentation such as tables, symbol diagrams, bar diagrams, line diagrams and circle diagrams in processing student data. Processing of report cards is carried out with the help of tables and Microsoft Excel software.

Abstract

This research aims to improve critical thinking skills in mathematics subjects for fifth grade students at SDN Ngemplak Kidul 03 through the PBL model using the help of the pulpit teaching media. The method in this research is Classroom Action Research which was conducted in March-June 2024 at SDN Ngemplak Kidul 03. The subjects in this research were class V students at SDN Ngemplak Kidul 03, totaling 13 students. The object of this research is students' critical thinking abilities using the Problem Based Learning method assisted by pulpit teaching media. The data collection techniques used in this research are observation, interviews, tests and documentation. Based on the results assisted by pulpit media can improve students' critical thinking skills in class V of SDN Ngemplak Kidul 03.of the student learning test percentage in cycle I was 79.23% and in cycle II it increased to 88.84% in the good category. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of the PBL model.

Abstract

This research aims to explore innovations in Islamic education curriculum development in overcoming ethical challenges at Markazul Quran Bukittinggi and the role of teachers in developing a responsive curriculum at Markazul Quran Bukittin. Innovation in curriculum development is considered a key parameter for assessing the success and quality of Islamic religious education in overcoming the technological ethical dilemmas faced by students. It is necessary to remember that the curriculum is a dynamic entity that is always developing, keeping up with the times and the needs of society. Therefore, an educational institution which is part of society must always see the development of society as a source of learning as a consideration in preparing the curriculum development of its institution or institutions, understanding the use of social media, digital security, and the impact of technology on Islamic values ​​( Hadith and Al-Quran). The method that the author uses in research is library research. The results of this research show that innovative Islamic religious education curriculum development can overcome the challenges of student education at Markazul Quran Bukittinggi.

Abstract

Social media use among college students has become a widespread phenomenon. Social media offers various benefits such as ease of communication, fast access to information, and a platform for sharing ideas. However, excessive use can negatively impact academic performance. This research aims to examine the effect of using social media on student learning achievement. The method used is literature study and secondary data analysis from various previous studies. The research results show that there is a significant relationship between social media use and academic achievement, both positive and negative depending on students' usage patterns and self-control

Abstract

The existence of living things in a habitat is something that can be used as an object of learning, moreover the object used is a local potential area that must be introduced to students. One of the objects that can be studied both in the form of observed objects, ways of life, benefits and even their preservation is trees. This study aims to describe the validity and practicality of the Tree Diversity Booklet in the Mangrove Forest Area of ​​Sungai Rasau Village, Tanah Laut District. This research is a development research using secondary data. The enrichment material developed is in the form of a booklet with the development method referring to Tessmer's Formative Evaluation. The validity of the booklet was tested by 3 validators, while the practicality test was tested on 5 students in XI grade. The results of the development of booklet teaching materials in the validation test were declared valid with an average validity score of 87.3%. In the practicality test by 5 SMAN 1 Tamban students, a score of 3.38 was obtained with good criteria. So that the booklet teaching materials can be used as material for enriching the concept of biodiversity in high school.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how the Project for Strengthening the Profile of Pancasila Students is implemented in the mutual cooperation dimension in class V at Pasar Kliwon State Elementary School. This research method uses descriptive qualitative methods. Location at Pasar Kliwon State Elementary School, Surakarta. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this research can be concluded that the teacher has implemented the dimensions of mutual cooperation well. It can be seen in project planning that the teacher prepares a project module which contains the project objectives and dimensions of mutual cooperation including the values ​​of collaboration, caring and sharing. In implementing the project, the dimension of mutual cooperation is conveyed, which includes the collaboration aspect, which can be seen when students in groups coordinate and work together in working on the project. In the caring aspect, good relationships and a sense of empathy can be seen among students, such as lending each other tools, being responsive to friends' difficulties and positive interdependence. The sharing aspect is fostered by teaching students to give and receive something valuable. At the project evaluation stage, process evaluation is used through observations during project activities.

Abstract

This research began with the discovery of the phenomenon of students who have different learning styles from one student to another in class III in Indonesian language lessons. The objectives of this research are (1) to describe students' auditory learning styles in understanding Indonesian language lesson material for class III at SD Negeri 15 Kartiasa; (2) Describe students' visual learning styles in understanding Indonesian language lesson material for class III at SD Negeri 15 Kartiasa; and (3) Describe how students' kinesthetic learning styles are in understanding Indonesian language lesson material for class III at SD Negeri 15 Kartiasa. his research uses a qualitative approach with a phenomenological type of research. Data collection techniques in this research used interview, observation and documentation techniques. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Data validity checking techniques use source triangulation and member checking. The results of this research show that class III students in Indonesian language subjects have the following auditory learning style: (1) students read by making sounds, some softly and some loud or loud, (2) students listen to what the teacher says. when explaining the material in front, (3) Students like to study alone rather than in groups. Next, the visual learning style is (1) Students like to learn using drawing media, (2) Students like to read books with pictures, (3) Students draw using colorful markers, (4) Students like to learn using mind mapping, 5) students write using blacak and blue pens. Then the kinesthetic learning style is: (1) students like to learn to move their fingers when reading as a guide, (2) students like to learn while walking to the right and left during the learning process, and (3) students like to follow and practice the movements of the singing material or story.
