Abstract

The religious competence of students must be sought as early as possible because the acceptance of knowledge and the transfer of values carried out at an early age is very easy, but as the main subject, the head of an educational institution has an important and strategic role in selecting the right strategy to improve the religious competence of students and realizing quality management. Who excels in his institution so that it becomes a necessity for a head of an educational institution especially at the educational level of Raudlatul Athfal to have a good leadership strategy to improve the religious competence of students. Type of Research This is a qualitative research with a case study approach. The location of the research was carried out at Raudlatul Athfal Sabilurrosyad Jolotundo Jetis Mojokerto, the data collection techniques were participant observation, in-depth interviews and documentation, while the data analysis techniques began with data reduction, data presentation, data verification, while data validity testing techniques were carried out by means of: credibility, transferability, dependability, confirmability. The results of the study indicate that the strategy of the head of Raudlatul Athfal Sabilurrosyad to improve the religious competence of students, namely: 1) Growing teacher awareness of the importance of religious competence for students, 2) Holding collaboration with student guardians, 3) Providing training for teachers, and 4) Supervise and assist. While the supporting and inhibiting factors for the implementation of the leadership strategy of the head of Raudlatul Athfal Sabilurrosyad to increase the religious competence of students are, 1) All elements of Raudlatul Athfal Sabilurrosyad fully support the policies of the head of the institution, 2) The obstacles faced in implementing his leadership strategy are that there are a few elements of Raudlatul Athfal Sabilurrosyad who still unable to consistently carry out an agreement to increase the religious competence of students but this has been able to be anticipated and given policies by the head of Raudlatul Athfal Sabilurrosyad.

Abstract

The existence of facilities and infrastructure at MTs NU Menara is very influential in supporting the quality of student learning. With the availability of facilities and infrastructure in educational institutions, it can make it easier for students and teachers to carry out learning activities. Adequate facilities and infrastructure such as the availability of a library can be used by students to help support teaching and learning activities. The use of facilities and infrastructure is well utilized by the teacher with the LCD in the classroom so that learning is more effective and not boring. MTs NU Menara is a madrasa with limited facilities and infrastructure. The learning system applied by the teacher in the classroom is not only based on textbooks that only use the lecture system but often also utilizes existing facilities and infrastructure in madrasas such as LCDs and the use of libraries so that learning is more interesting and not boring. Facilities and infrastructure at MTs NU Menara, which have limitations, do not necessarily eliminate infrastructure just like that. As for the means used in the removal of this item, it is very rarely done because items such as benches and chairs have a durable nature. At MTs NU Menara, items are deleted at least once every 5 years, even if there are items to be deleted. This study aims 1) to determine the implementation of facilities and infrastructure management in supporting the quality of student learning at MTs Nu Menara, Gunungteguh Village, Sangkapura District. 2) find out what are the supporting and inhibiting factors for the implementation of facilities and infrastructure management in supporting the quality of student learning at MTs Nu Menara, Gunungteguh Village, Sangkapura District. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative method. the data collection techniques used are observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The data analysis technique used is reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that: 1) the completeness of adequate facilities and infrastructure will facilitate the learning process so that it is more effective and efficient in carrying out teaching and learning activities. 2) the supporting and inhibiting factors in the quality of this learning are from within the madrasa itself, namely the availability of adequate facilities and infrastructure so that it can support the learning process, while the inhibiting factors include lack of funds, in addition to the lack of awareness of students in maintaining facilities and infrastructure in madrasas this is due to the lack of a sense of belonging to students in using these facilities and infrastructure.

Abstract

In the midst of the rapid demands to keep up with current technological developments, an educational institution is required to continue to innovate in increasing the existence of the institution by promoting through digital media. Promotions uploaded to social media will be able to attract the interest of new students more effectively than only using print media. There are several social media platforms that can be used to promote educational institutions. So then, how can promotion on social media be properly achieved to attract the interest of new students? Of course, it takes planned steps and strategies to achieve all of that. This type of research is descriptive with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques using semi-structured interviews, non-participant observation, and documentation Data analysis techniques used are data reduction, presentation, and verification. Test the validity of the data using source triangulation techniques, peer discussions, and member checks. The results of the promotion strategy on social media in increasing the interest of new students are influencing the interest of new students, influencing decision-making in choosing schools, facilitating the delivery of information, and increasing the interest of new students.   Keywords: Strategy, Promotion, Social Media, And New Student Interest

Abstract

This article seeks to explain how the transformational leadership of the kiai at the Al Ikhlas Bahrul Ulum Tambakberas Jombang Islamic boarding school can increase the independence of the students. In addition, this study also aims to identify the factors that support and hinder the increase in the independence of the students through the transformational leadership of the kiai in the Islamic boarding school. This research uses a case study approach and qualitative research methods. The research location was carried out at the Al Ikhlas Bahrul Ulum Tambakberas Islamic boarding school, Jombang. Data collection techniques include participant observation, interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed using data reduction techniques, data presentation, and data verification. The validity of the data is tested through credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability. The data analysis techniques used include data reduction, data presentation, and data verification, as well as testing the validity of the data through credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability. The results of the study show that the Kiai at the Islamic Boarding School has made efforts to increase the independence of the students through transformational leadership that implements leadership functions such as ideal influence, intellectual stimulation, individual consideration, and inspiring motivation. Supporting factors for increasing the independence of students include a conducive environment, character education, skills education, participation of students in Islamic boarding schools activities, and family support. While the inhibiting factors include the lack of motivation and interest in learning from students, the lack of support and guidance from the family, and the lack of understanding of how to learn independently.

Abstract

This study aims to provide an in-depth understanding of the differentiation strategy in marketing educational institutions. Through research and analysis, this study will explore practical concepts, theories and strategies that can be applied by educational institutions to differentiate themselves and overcome fierce competition in the world of education so that they can compete and provide significant competitive advantages. The method used in this research is library research method. Library-based research is a form of research that uses literary works as the object of study. Researchers study the literature, writings and sources that are closely related to the problem under study. Collecting data by looking for sources from various sources such as books, journals, and existing research. The data obtained from the literature study were analyzed using an interactive qualitative model. This data analysis model consists of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the application of a differentiation strategy in the marketing of educational institutions has a positive impact on attracting students' interest. By implementing a Differentiation Strategy in Educational Institution Marketing such as developing a strong image and identity, Focusing on specific market segments and understanding their needs, Innovation in educational programs and curriculum, Quality student services and experiences, Use of technology in learning and Collaboration with industry and Such strategic partnerships can differentiate themselves from competitors and attract the attention of prospective students and will provide a significant competitive advantage.

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to identify more about educational leadership. This description uses the Descriptive Literature and Qualitative Study approach method with data collection in the form of interviews. Based on the activities that have been carried out that educational leadership is a process of influencing, mobilizing and coordinating individuals in educational organizations / institutions to achieve these educational goals.leadership is important to do and there are certain factors that affect the success of leadership that comes from the leader himself including: knowledge and expertise which is the educational background of a leader, institution or the type of work in which the leader performs the duties of his office, the attitude and personality of the leader, and the personality attitudes of followers. There are seven challenges and obstacles commonly faced by education leaders in general, namely the complexity of leadership tasks, uncertainty and rapid change, complex performance appraisals, community and stakeholder demands, limited resources, cultural and ethnic differences, and time pressures. And educational leadership itself has a very important role to improve the quality of education, create a positive school culture, lead successful educational change, and manage conflict in the school environment.

Abstract

Heavy rainfall can have a significant impact on the smoothness of teaching and learning activities in schools. The research findings indicate that high rainfall disrupts the punctuality of students and teachers in attending school due to poor weather conditions. Student and teacher lateness and absences affect the smoothness of the learning process at MTs Hudatul Falah. Additionally, certain parts of the school building have also been damaged due high rainfall, such as roofs, walls and stairs. The school has taken measures to address the impact of high rainfall, including improving the maintenance and repair of the school building, as allowing tolerance for lateness and providing flexibility in the class schedule. Evaluations of the school's readiness and the empowerment of teachers and students in dealing with emergencies related to high rainfall have also been conducted. This research provides insights into the importance of addressing the impact of extreme weather conditions in the educational context. The impact of high rainfall, particularly student and teacher lateness, requires greater attention to improving the condition of school buildings and increasing readiness to face the risks of extreme weather. These steps will help ensure the continuity of teaching and learning activities in the future.

Abstract

This study aims to describe prophetic education at the Kiai Mojo Tembelang Jombang Islamic Boarding School. A case study technique is employed in the qualitative research methodology. The findings revealed that there are three pillars of independence for students at the Kiai Mojo Tembelang Jombang Islamic Boarding School: independent worship, independent knowledge, and independent economy. The prophetic derivation is taken from Surah At-Taubah verse 128 and Ali Imran verse 110. The concept of humanization, which involves the nature of mercy, compassion, and amar maruf, is closely related to the independent pillar of knowledge to form students who have noble morals. The concept of liberation, which arises from a sense of heartlessness towards the suffering of humanity and then makes efforts to nahi munkar, plays an important role in forming santri who are committed to good deeds as an implementation of the economic independence pillar. The transcendent concept, which includes a strong desire to believe in Allah Swy and achieve the salvation of mankind, is related to the pillar of worship, which seeks to form santri to have tawhid awareness, maintain purity, and always think. Pondok Pesantren Kiai Mojo Tembelang Jombang internalizes the prophetic value in Surah At-Taubah verse 128 in a personal-individual context, then transforms it through the interpretation of Surah Ali Imran verse 110 in a communal-social context, in an effort to fulfill the goals of the greatest individuals (khoiru ummah).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran Sistem Informasi Manajemen (SIM) dalam meningkatkan transparansi dan akuntabilitas di lembaga pendidikan Islam. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah pentingnya transparansi dan akuntabilitas dalam pengelolaan lembaga pendidikan untuk memastikan penggunaan sumber daya yang efisien dan efektif serta meningkatkan kepercayaan dari semua pemangku kepentingan. Rumusan masalah yang diangkat adalah bagaimana SIM dapat diterapkan di lembaga pendidikan Islam untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian pustaka (library research) dengan mengkaji literatur, jurnal, dan studi kasus yang relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa SIM memiliki peran yang signifikan dalam memfasilitasi akses informasi yang lebih mudah dan cepat, memungkinkan pelaporan yang lebih sistematis dan terstruktur, serta meningkatkan pengawasan dan evaluasi kinerja akademik dan administratif. Namun, implementasi SIM di lembaga pendidikan Islam juga menghadapi berbagai tantangan, termasuk kurangnya pemahaman dan keterampilan teknologi, keterbatasan sumber daya, resistensi terhadap perubahan, dan masalah keamanan data. Untuk mengatasi tantangan-tantangan tersebut, diperlukan strategi yang komprehensif, termasuk peningkatan pelatihan teknologi, manajemen perubahan yang efektif, dan pengembangan protokol keamanan data yang kuat. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya SIM dalam mendukung transparansi dan akuntabilitas serta memberikan rekomendasi untuk implementasi yang lebih efektif di lembaga pendidikan Islam.

Abstract

Tulisan ini merupakan hasil kajian lapangan yang dilakukan pada salah satu lembaga pendidikan di Ponorogo yaitu SMP Negeri 5 Ponorogo. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui manajemen mutu OSIS melalui penerapan siklus PPEPP untuk meningkatkan jiwa kepemimpinan siswa sebagai bekal persaingan global yang semakin kompetitif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah studi kasus dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, observasi serta dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah kondensasi data, penyajian data dan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen mutu OSIS dalam meningkatkan jiwa kepemimpinan siswa dilakukan melalui beberapa proses yaitu: 1) proses penetapan dengan melalui dasar hukum, tujuan yang jelas serta perencanaan kegiatan yang sistematis, 2) proses pelaksanaan, dengan melaksanakan kegiatan harian, mingguan serta tahunan 3) proses evaluasi, dilakukan melalui pengawasan yang dilakukan oleh kepala sekolah, waka kesiswaan dan pembina, 4) pengendalian dilakukan melalui rapat serta tata tertib, dan 5) proses peningkatan, melalui tindak lanjut berupa perbaikan kendala dan pemberian reward kepada siswa berprestasi.
