Abstract

Examining and assessing the effects of The purpose the loan to deposit ratio (LDR) and return on assets (ROA) of financial institutions listed on the Indonesian Stock Market in relation to non-performing loans (NPL). The nature of this study methodology is quantitative. The study sample consists of ten banking organizations that are registered on the Indonesian Stock Exchange (Persero) Tbk and have financial reports covering a five-year period, from 2018 to 2022. This implies that there are a total of 50 samples (10 x 5). The study finds that for every additional person who raises the quantity of non-performing loans (NPL) (x1) while keeping the loan to deposit ratio (LDR) constant (x2), profitability will drop by an average of –1,268. This implies the existence of non-performing loans (NPL). little effect on the financial success ofbanking companies listed on the IDX; nonetheless, the profit margin will lose an average of 5,255 if the Loan To Deposit Ratio (LDR) (x2) rises by one while the Non-Performing Loans (NPL) (x1) stay the same. It is clear from this how much each predictor effects the response variables and how the Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR) affects the profitability of banks listed on the BEI. This suggests that the criteria of Non-Performing Loan (NPL) and Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR) have a big influence on the bank profitability displayed on the IDX. Liability to Deposit Ratio (LDR) and Non-Performing Loans (NPL) together have an influence of 0.308, or 30.8%, while additional factors not covered in this study account for the remaining 69.2%

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the phenomenon of trust issues in marriage among millennials in the city of Medan, the impact of these trust issues, and the attitudes of millennials in dealing with this phenomenon. The paradigm employed is constructivism with a phenomenological method; the research object is trust issues in marriage, and the research subjects are millennials. The research informants consist of six individuals and three triangulation informants, with the information received resulting in data saturation. Data collection techniques include in-depth interviews and observations. The findings of this study indicate that marital trust issues are caused by a lack of effective communication between partners, leading to conflicts and trauma from partner betrayal, infidelity, abusive behavior, and lack of parental approval. This phenomenon is also driven by insufficient family roles, shifts in cultural values of marriage, and the negative impact of social media. Marital trust issues result in difficulties in self-disclosure, delays in marriage, and changes in values related to marriage. The attitudes developed to avoid similar experiences include improving communication with partners, enhancing trust in partners, being selective in choosing partners, and maintaining a positive mindset

Abstract

Learning English at the high school level often faces various challenges, especially when it comes to attracting students. Based on initial observations at SMA Swasta Indonesia Membangun Medan for the 2023/2024 school year, it was found that many students in grades x2 and x1 felt less interested in learning English. Factors that may cause this lack of interest include material difficulties, lack of relevance of the material to daily life, multiple intelligences of students, teaching style of teachers and techniques of delegators in teaching. The research methodology used is questionnaires, interviews, and data collection. The types of research used are qualitative data and quantitative data. The findings of this study also aim to determine the influence of teachers' teaching styles on students' interest in learning English. Based on the results of research through interviews with teachers, the factors that affect students' lack of interest in learning English are because students have dominance or multiple intelligence in certain fields. And the results of the questionnaire given summarized that students' interest in learning was in the category of quite good, namely 69.03% out of 50 students. And for the delegator teaching style technique, it is done during the group discussion method because in the discussion students can work collaboratively and become teachers with each other

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate how using animation media affects elementary school pupils' learning of the natural sciences (IPA). An experiment with a pre- and post-test control group design was the study methodology employed. Two sets of primary school pupils, each with 26 students in a classroom, made up the research sample. The experimental group received instruction using animation medium, whereas the other group was given conventional learning without animation media (control group). Learning outcome data is measured through tests that are relevant to the science material being taught. A difference test between pre- and post-test scores, together with statistical comparisons between the two groups, were used to analyze the data. According to the study's findings, using animation media considerably enhances primary school pupils' scientific learning outcomes when it comes to traditional teaching strategies. These results confirm that animation media can be a useful teaching tool that helps elementary school pupils understand science subjects more fully while also being engaging for them. This study significantly advances the creation of more creative and pertinent learning strategies to improve students' academic achievement in science at the elementary school level

Abstract

This research aims to analyze communication patterns in the formation of self-concept in early adults who experience fatherlessness, analyze self-disclosure in early adults, and to analyze communication barriers felt by early adults who experience fatherlessness in Medan City. The theories used in this research are Symbolic Interaction Theory, Self-Concept and Self-Disclosure. This study uses a qualitative method. The number of informants in this study was 6 (six) early adults who experienced fatherlessness. The research results show that the absence of a father causes the emergence of dysfunctional communication patterns in the family which affects various aspects of the informants' lives such as communication with the surrounding environment and their self-concept. Communication barriers found in early adult individuals are psychological barriers or psychological noise, which is caused by the loss of the father's role due to death or his absence in the informant's growth and development during childhood. This condition creates a fear of communicating and causes difficulty in expressing feelings

Abstract

The 2024 election in Indonesia faces significant challenges related to political ambitions and legal defeats, which have impacted the integrity and implementation of the election process. Political ambitions from candidates and political parties often lead to violations of election rules, including the spread of misleading information and manipulation of voting results. Legal defeats, such as violations of campaign rules and the inability of law enforcement to handle these cases, undermine public trust in the democratic system and law enforcement institutions. This article examines the impact of these legal defeats and provides recommendations for reforms in election regulations, increased law enforcement, transparency, and political education. Comprehensive reform efforts are needed to ensure fair elections and increase public trust in the democratic process in the future
