Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui seberapa besar kemampuan servis bawah pada siswa SMAN 14 Makassar. Populasinya adalah yaitu seluruh siswa SMAN 14 Makassar. Penarikan sampel ini menggunakan teknik total sampling populasi dengan jumlah sampel 21 siswa. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kemampuan servis bawah SMAN 14 Makassar adalah baik dengan pertimbangan frekuensi terbanyak berada pada kategori baik dengan 8 siswa atau 38.10%. Tingkat Tingkat kemampuan servis bawah SMAN 14 Makassar berkategori baik sekali 1 siswa atau 4,76%, baik 8 siswa atau 38.10%, sedang 6 siswa atau 28.57%, kurang 4 siswa atau 19.05%, dan kurang sekali 2 atau 9.52%. berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa presentase hasil data akhir kemampuan servis bawah siswa SMAN 14 Makassar pada kategori baik.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat kemampuan shooting sepakbola murid putera kelas V di SD Inpres Kassi Makassar. Meskipun sepakbola cukup populer di kalangan masyarakat dan siswa sekolah tersebut, penguasaan keterampilan bermain, khususnya kemampuan shooting, masih belum diketahui secara pasti. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan populasi seluruh murid putera di SD Inpres Kassi Makassar. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 20 murid yang diambil secara acak. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan tes kemampuan shooting bola ke sasaran. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif persentatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan shooting siswa berada pada kategori “Baik Sekali” sebanyak 15% (3 murid), “Baik” sebesar 25% (5 murid), “Sedang” sebesar 50% (10 murid), “Kurang” sebesar 10% (2 murid), dan “Kurang Sekali” sebesar 0% (0 murid). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa tingkat kemampuan shooting bola murid kelas V SD Inpres Kassi Makassar secara umum berada pada kategori "Sedang".

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah sebuah eksperimen yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran berbasis video sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan kemampuan gerak mahasiswa dalam melakukan Teknik dasar forehand drive dalam permainan squash. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah One Gropu Pre-Test and Post-Test. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa pendidikan jasmani program studi pendidikan jasmani, Kesehatan, dan rekreasi Fakultas Ilmu Keolahragaan Universitas Negeri Makassar yang berjumlah 33 orang, yang ditentukan dengan Teknik purposive sampling. Adapun kriteria penentuan sampel yaitu berjenis kelamin laki-laki, berbadan sehat, bersedia mengikuti proses penelitian, dan berusia 19 sampai 21 tahun. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan instrument tes gerak Teknik dasar forehand drive dari (Yarrow & Harrison, 1997). Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji T (Paired Sample T Test). Selanjutnya dilakukan uji efektivitas dengan menggunakan uji N-Gain untuk mengetahui seberapa besar efektivitas model pembelajaran berbasis video dalam upaya meningkatkan kemampuan gerak forehand drive dalam permainan squash mahasiswa. Hasil uji efektivitas menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis video dalam meningkatkan kemampuan gerak teknik dasar forehand drive dalam permainan squash berada pada kategori efektif. Nilai efektivitas peserta berkisar antara 68,1% hingga 91,4%, dengan rata-rata sebesar 78,9%. Dengan demikian, pembelajaran berbasis video dapat dianggap sebagai pendekatan yang efektif dalam konteks pelatihan keterampilan olahraga tersebut.

Abstract

Berbagai studi mengungkapkan bahwa dukungan sosial merupakan salah satu faktor utama dalam melakukan aktivitas fisik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap tingkat dukungan sosial dalam melakukan aktivitas fisik pada mahasiswa perguruan tinggi yang terdiri atas dua sumber dukungan yaitu dukungan teman dan keluarga. Mahasiswa yang menjadi sampel penelitian direkrut secara sukarela untuk mengisi kuesioner dukungan sosial untuk aktivitas fisik sebanyak 814 mahasiswa. Rentang usia sampel yaitu 17-23 tahun dengan mahasiswa laki-laki berjumlah 393 orang dan mahasiswa perempuan berjumlah 421 orang. Data diambil dengan menggunakan instrumen scale for social support for diet and exercise behaviors yang mengukur tingkat dukungan sosial yang terbagi atas dukungan teman dan dukungan keluarga. Analisis deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa sebanyak 6% mahasiswa memperoleh dukungan sosial dengan tingkat yang sangat rendah, 36% di tingkat dukungan rendah, 48% di tingkat dukungan tinggi, dan 10% mahasiswa memperoleh dukungan sosial sangat tinggi. Dukungan teman lebih baik dalam mendukung aktivitas fisik dengan tingkat dukungan kategori tinggi dan sangat tinggi diperoleh dengan presentasi sebesar 59% dibandingkan dengan dukungan keluarga pada kategori sangat tinggi dan tinggi yang totalnya hanya 45%. Dukungan sosial mahasiswa laki-laki juga lebih tinggi dibandingkan dukungan pada mahasiswa perempuan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji berbagai tantangan dan peluang dalam mengintegrasikan teknologi wearable ke dalam kurikulum pendidikan jasmani. Data dikumpulkan melalui proses dokumentasi dan peninjauan terhadap seluruh artikel yang terbit dalam rentang waktu 2020 hingga 2025. Sebanyak 25 artikel dari jurnal nasional dan internasional yang telah terakreditasi digunakan dalam penelitian ini, yang diperoleh dari berbagai sumber seperti Google Scholar, ResearchGate, SINTA, DOAJ, dan Scopus. Dengan pendekatan analisis kualitatif, studi ini menemukan sejumlah manfaat utama seperti meningkatnya partisipasi siswa, kemampuan memantau aktivitas fisik secara real-time, serta terciptanya pengalaman belajar yang lebih personal. Meski demikian, penelitian ini juga mengungkap sejumlah hambatan, seperti keterbatasan akses terhadap perangkat, kurangnya pelatihan yang memadai bagi guru, isu terkait keamanan data, dan resistensi terhadap inovasi. Hasil penelitian menegaskan bahwa keberhasilan integrasi teknologi ini membutuhkan kerja sama yang erat antara pihak sekolah, pengambil kebijakan, dan pengembang teknologi. Secara keseluruhan, studi ini menawarkan rekomendasi strategis untuk memaksimalkan pemanfaatan teknologi wearable dalam meningkatkan mutu dan relevansi pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani di era digital.

Abstract

This study uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive research type. This approach was chosen to determine the level of students' understanding of stress management and its impact on mental health. This study was conducted at the Physical Education, Health, and Recreation Study Program, Makassar State University, with 50 active students as research subjects. The selection of respondents was carried out using a purposive sampling technique, where the main criteria set were active students who were willing to be respondents and did not have a history of severe mental disorders medically. The main instrument in this study was a closed questionnaire compiled based on indicators of understanding stress management and the impact of stress on students' mental conditions. Each item on the questionnaire used a Likert scale with 5 (five) answer choices. The results of the Cronbach's Alpha reliability test with a value of 0.951. The data analysis technique was carried out using a descriptive test which was then categorized using a category table. Based on the results of the research and data analysis, it can be concluded that the level of understanding of students in the Physical Education, Health, and Recreation Study Program, Makassar State University is in the moderate category. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the use of interactive visual media in learning basic volleyball techniques on students' learning interest at SMP Negeri 13 Makassar. The method used is quasi-experimental with a pretest-posttest control group design. The sample consisted of 60 students divided into two groups, namely the experimental group that received learning using interactive visual media and the control group that used conventional methods. The instrument used was a learning interest questionnaire with a Likert scale of 1–5 that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data were analyzed using normality tests, homogeneity tests, and t-tests (paired sample t-test and independent sample t-test) with a significance level of 0.05. The results showed that the experimental group experienced an increase in learning interest scores from an average pretest of 58.4 to 78.6 in the posttest, while the control group only increased from 59.2 to 66.7. The t-test showed a significant difference between the experimental and control groups (t = 5.87; p < 0.05). These findings indicate that interactive visual media is effective in increasing students' interest in learning basic volleyball techniques. In conclusion, the application of interactive visual media as a learning medium can significantly increase students' interest in learning compared to conventional methods. Recommendations are given to PJOK teachers to integrate this media in the learning process to improve students' motivation and learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and test the effectiveness of an innovative Physical Education, Sports, and Health (PJOK) learning model based on modifications to basic badminton techniques to increase active participation of students at SMK Negeri 6 Makassar. The method used is research and development (R&D) with an adapted Borg & Gall model. The subjects of the study consisted of 30 grade XI students who actively participated in PJOK lessons and PJOK teachers as supporting informants. Data collection techniques include participant observation, interviews, student response questionnaires, documentation, and badminton skills tests. The results of the model development went through several stages, starting from preliminary studies, planning, initial product development, limited trials, revisions, expert validation, to large-scale trials. The results of the large-scale trial showed an increase in active student participation of 83%, exceeding the minimum target of 75%. The increase in basic badminton technique skills reached 75% with an average test score increasing from 60.5 to 78.3. The responses of students and teachers to the learning model were in the “good” and “very good” categories with an average questionnaire score of 4.3 and 4.2. Statistical analysis showed significant results (p < 0.05) in increasing student participation and skills. This model is effective in increasing student motivation and engagement during PJOK learning. Recommendations are given for this model to be implemented more widely to support more innovative and contextual learning.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of Physical Education learning modified with volleyball games on learning motivation and basic movement skills of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 13 Makassar. The method used is quantitative research with a quasi-experimental design, using Non-equivalent Control Group Design. The research sample consisted of 40 students divided into two groups, namely the experimental group that followed modified volleyball game learning and the control group that followed conventional learning. Data were collected through basic movement skills test instruments and learning motivation questionnaires. The results showed an increase in learning motivation in the experimental group from an average of 70.1 (pre-test) to 85.3 (post-test), while the control group only increased from 69.8 to 73.5. Basic movement skills also increased significantly in the experimental group, from 72.4 to 88.7, compared to the control group which only increased from 71.9 to 75.2. The paired t-test and independent t-test proved that the difference in learning motivation and basic movement skills between the two groups was significant at a significance level of 0.05. In conclusion, Physical Education learning modified with volleyball game is effective in increasing students’ learning motivation and basic movement skills. This learning model can be an innovative alternative in improving the quality of Physical Education learning in junior high schools

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the needs of Physical Education, Sports, and Health (PJOK) teachers in developing a basketball-based curriculum at SMP Negeri 3 Makassar. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive explorative approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, learning observations, and curriculum documentation studies and Lesson Implementation Plans (RPP). The results showed that 85% of PJOK teachers stated that the curriculum used had not optimally integrated basketball into the learning process. In addition, there were limitations in facilities and infrastructure by 75%, and 80% of teachers experienced minimal training related to educational game learning. Observations of the learning process also revealed the dominance of instructional methods that did not involve active student participation. Analysis of curriculum documents found no special RPP based on basketball games and learning objectives that emphasized basic cognitive and psychomotor aspects. This study recommends the development of an innovative basketball-based curriculum, increased training for teachers, and the provision of adequate media and learning facilities to improve the effectiveness of PJOK learning. The implementation of the curriculum is expected to improve learning motivation, basketball technical skills, and sportsmanship character of students at SMP Negeri 3 Makassar.
