Abstract

The goal of this study is to see if using audio-visual media in conjunction with a scientific approach to learning table tennis game activities at SMP Negeri 1 Kabuh in Jombang, Indonesia, may increase student learning outcomes and to see how far those aims have been accomplished. This study employs two cycles of classroom action research. Planning, action implementation, observation, analysis, and reflection are the four steps of each cycle. According to the outcomes of the analyses, cycles I and II resulted in a significant increase. The results of learning to play table tennis in the first cycle were 59.38 percent across the board, with 19 students finishing the course. In cycle II, the percentage of students with complete learning outcomes increased to 87.51 percent, while the percentage of students with incomplete learning outcomes increased to 28 percent. The percentage of students with complete learning outcomes increased by 100% during cycle III, while the percentage of students with incomplete learning outcomes climbed by 32%. As a result, learning through the use of audio-visual learning media can improve learning achievement in class VII students of public middle-school 1 Kabuh.

Abstract

Football is a sport that is very popular with students. They play only to seek joy. It turned out that after interviews with students, information was obtained that students felt less interested, afraid, and had leg pain after kicking the ball. The problem formulation of this research is how to improve the learning of basic soccer techniques in kicking and stopping the ball. While the objectives of this study were to describe the improvement of learning the basic techniques of soccer kicking and stopping an interesting ball, several conclusions were obtained from the research as follows: The learning plan for the basic soccer technique of kicking and stopping the ball, as outlined in the syllabus and developed in the Learning Implementation Plan, helps condition students to be active, creative, and fun because students are not bored and pressured to learn. Physical education teachers are expected to develop creativity and innovation. The use of fun and dynamic forms of play Making activity models in physical education learning needs to be improved so that students gain convenience in achieving competence. It is necessary to carry out classroom action research for learning other physical education materials so that the goal of improving the quality of physical education learning can be achieved.

Abstract

This paper aims to find out how students' motivation to learn improves skills in learning volleyball underpassing in learning PJOK. In this study, researchers used a qualitative approach. The data was taken through the interview method. The study selected participants taken from fifth-grade students at MIN 5 Ngawi, East Java, Indonesia. The technique used is Provosive Sampling. Data sources are taken with certain considerations. In this technique, the person who is considered to know best about what we expect is given consideration. Data analysis used reduction data, display data, and conclusion. The results showed that motivation affects learning outcomes. While the award provides stimulation from the outside to participate in learning.

Abstract

The issue in this research is that students struggle to move because they lack fundamental throwing and catching mobility skills. There are still many students who look stiff and need the teacher's assistance to move in accordance with the teacher's instructions, even though some students are less able to practice throwing and catching balls, even though some students can already do so. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of fundamental movement skills for throwing and catching a baseball in primary school. The sample of this research is class III MIS AL Qosimy Watu Galuh, totaling 25 people. Data collection techniques using a t-test: The P value obtained is less than 0.05, which is 0.00. In the catch test, the test statistic results show the P-value obtained is less than 0.05, which is 0.00, with an average value of 34.54. The results of the test statistic on the throwing and catching values show that the P-value obtained is less than 0.05, which is 0.00. So it can be concluded that the throwing value of the students is equal to 15 with an average value of 11.5. The results of the overall analysis show that the components of the throw, catch, and throw catch scores of each student are not the same as the expected target value.

Abstract

Aktivitas fisik masyarakat secara global dianggap masih kurang dan keterlibatan pada aktivitas fisik dapat dipengaruhi oleh banyak faktor, salah satunya adalah self-efficacy. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengungkap tingkat self-efficacy aktivitas fisik mahasiswa. Desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah survey cross-sectional. Partisipan merupakan 281 mahasiswa pada salah satu universitas negeri di Indonesia dengan rentang usia 17-23 tahun (laki-laki 208 orang dan perempuan 73 orang) yang diambil dengan teknik multistage sampling. Data penelitian diambil menggunakan kuesioner Sources of Self-Efficacy for Physical Activity. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis mengunakan teknik analisis deskriptif dan analisis perbandingan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat self-efficacy aktivitas fisik mahasiswa berada pada kategori tinggi. Tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan pada skor mahasiswa laki-laki dan perempuan.

Abstract

Bukti empiris menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas fisik menawarkan banyak keuntungan bagi anak muda. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengungkap tingkat aktivitas fisik mahasiswa. Desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah survey cross-sectional. Sampel pada penelitian ini ditarik menggunakan teknik convenience sampling. Sebanyak 200 mahasiswa yang berasal dari salah satu universitas di Kota Makassar dengan rentang usia 18-23 (laki-laki: 127 orang) diberikan instrumen penelitian yang digunakan untuk mengukur tingkat aktivitas fisik mereka. Kuesioner yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Global Physical Activity Questionnaire (GPAQ) yang dikembangkan oleh WHO untuk memantau aktivitas fisik yang mencakup beberapa komponen aktivitas fisik, seperti intensitas, durasi, dan frekuensi, dan menilai tiga domain tempat aktivitas fisik dilakukan (aktivitas fisik pekerjaan, aktivitas fisik terkait transportasi, dan aktivitas fisik selama waktu luang). Data yang terkumpul dianalisis mengunakan teknik analisis deskriptif dan analisis perbandingan juga digunakan untuk melihat perbedaan faktor gender. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat aktivitas fisik mahasiswa secara umum berada pada kategori sedang. Analisis perbandingan menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada skor aktivitas fisik mahasiswa mahasiswa laki-laki dan perempuan dengan mahasiswa laki-laki memiliki aktivitas fisik yang jauh lebih tinggi dibandingan mahasiswa perempuan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that inhibit PJOK learning of volleyball material during the Covid-19 pandemic at MIS Al-Hikmah Gempolmanis, Lamongan Regency, East Java. This study employs a descriptive-quantitative approach, utilizing a survey method. The study's population consisted of 42 students from class IV at MIS Al-Hikmah Gempolmanis. The total sampling technique was used in this study. The instrument used was a questionnaire test with a validity of 0.964 and a reliability of 0.981. The data analysis technique used descriptive analysis, which was expressed in the form of a percentage. The results of the study showed that the inhibiting factors for learning PJOK volleyball material during the Covid-19 pandemic at MIS Al-Hikmah Gempolmanis, Sambeng District, Lamongan Regency were in the categories of "very low" 0.00% (0 students), "low" 0.00% (0 students), "sufficient" 21.43% (9 students), "high" 71.43% (30 students), and "very high" 7.14% (3 students).

Abstract

Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan guru Pendidikan Jasmani, Olahraga, dan Kesehatan (PJOK) dalam menerapkan model pendidikan kebugaran melalui pelatihan intensif. Permasalahan yang dihadapi adalah masih dominannya penggunaan metode pembelajaran tradisional oleh guru PJOK, yang kurang optimal dalam meningkatkan kebugaran fisik siswa. Model pendidikan kebugaran dipilih karena mampu mengintegrasikan unsur kebugaran fisik dengan pendekatan pembelajaran yang menyenangkan dan efektif bagi perkembangan siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini meliputi ceramah dan diskusi kelompok, baik secara tatap muka maupun daring, untuk memperkuat pemahaman guru tentang pentingnya model pendidikan kebugaran dalam pembelajaran PJOK. Peserta dalam pelatihan ini diperoleh melalui observasi dan kuesioner dari partisipan yang terdiri dari 50 guru PJOK di Kabupaten Polewali Mandar, yang dipilih menggunakan random sampling. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kompetensi pedagogis guru, peningkatan hasil belajar siswa, serta antusiasme siswa yang lebih tinggi dalam mengikuti pembelajaran yang interaktif dan menyehatkan. Penerapan model pendidikan kebugaran ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran PJOK secara keseluruhan dan mendukung pencapaian tujuan kebugaran jasmani siswa.

Abstract

Keterampilan gerak dasar atau yang biasa disebut dengan fundamental movement skills merupakan bangunan dasar untuk aktivitas fisik dan olahraga untuk masa depan anak. Anak yang memiliki kecakapan dalam keterampilan geraknya cenderung memiliki aktivitas fisik yang lebih sering dan lebih lama dengan intensitas moderate dan moderate to vigorous. Keterampilan gerak dasar juga merupakan bangunan dasar dari gerakan yang lebih kompleks untuk anak. Dari berbagai instrumen yang dapat digunakan dalam mengukur keterampilan gerak dasar siswa, Test of Gross Motor Development 2 (TGMD-2) adalah salah satu instrumen yang cukup populer dan cukup lengkap yang dapat digunakan dalam proses pengukuran perkembangan keterampilan gerak dasar siswa sekolah dasar. Namun para guru pendidikan jasmani di sekolah dasar masih sangat kurang yang dapat menggunkan instrumen tersebut, khusunya di Kota Polewali, Kab. Polewali Mandar, Sulawesi Barat. Kegiatan pengabdian ini berfokus pada pemberian materi terkait pengenalan dan penggunaan instrumen TGMD-2 kepada para guru dan siswa. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan selama 1 hari mulai pukul 08.00 sampai 12.00 dengan pemberian materi-materi terkait keterampilan gerak dasar dan penggunaan instrumen TGMD-2. Kegiatan ini memberikan dampak positif yaitu meningkatnya pengetahuan tentang bagaimana menggunakan TGMD-2 dalam pembelajaran penjas, meningkatnya pengetahuan tentang pentingnya penguasaan keterampilan gerak dasar untuk siswa sekolah dasar, serta peserta sangat antusias dan kooperatif dalam mengikuti sosialisasi penggunaan TGMD-2 ini.

Abstract

Teaching is a systematic and efficient method of making the right decisions. This includes decision making regarding content, methodology, duration, student grouping, questioning techniques, follow-up questions, and the review process in the context of teaching. Community service activities aim to conduct audio-visual-based learning media training for physical education, sports, and health (PJOK) teachers in Polewali Mandar Regency. The audio-visual-based learning media training activity uses a mentoring method. Participants in this activity were 50 Physical Education and Sports teachers in Polewali Mandar Regency. To solve the problem of the lack of teacher understanding in creating effective learning media for improving student learning outcomes, the team provided a solution by providing audio-visual-based teaching material training which was carried out through stages of activities consisting of socialization stages, training stages, and evaluation stages. The targeted outputs after the implementation of this activity were that PJOK teachers in Polewali Mandar understood the appropriate learning media given according to student needs, understood the benefits of audio-visual media, and understood how to compile audio-visual-based teaching materials.
