Abstract

Dwelling Time is one of the problems faced in the implementation of export-import activities. Dwelling Time acceleration correlates with reduced logistics costs in international trade. In relation to Dwelling Time, the customs agency which in Indonesia is known as Customs has an important role in procedural and supervisory matters. Customs agencies in carrying out their duties certainly face various obstacles and an appropriate strategy is needed to overcome these obstacles so that Dwelling Time can be reduced. Tanjung Perak Port is one of the busiest ports in Indonesia.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out whether there is a significant relationship between the teacher's teaching style and the improvement of mathematics student learning outcomes in class V SD N 06 Salaon Toba. This research is a correlational study. The research sample used total sampling, namely all fifth grade students at SDN 06 Salaon Toba as many as 30 people. Data collection in this study was carried out using questionnaires and tests. The data analysis technique uses the product moment correlation formula and t-test. The results of this study indicate that the teaching style of teachers at SDN 06 Salaon Toba is in the High category where the average score is 103.77 while student learning outcomes are in the high category with an average score of 87.66. The teacher's teaching style greatly influences student learning outcomes in Mathematics. It can be seen from the calculation results that rcount is 0.501 while rtable = 0.361, so rcount > rtable. While the value of tcount = 3.063204, ttable value = 2.04841. By comparing the two prices, tcount > ttable is obtained. Thus, it can be concluded that the hypothesis which states that there is a significant relationship between the Teacher's Teaching Style and the Improvement of Student Learning Outcomes in Mathematics Learning in Class V SDN 06 Salaon Toba can be accepted.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze school culture in the formation of the tolerance character of class VI students at SDN 091317 Pematang Raya, Raya District, Simalungun Regency. This type of research is descriptive analysis with qualitative methods. The determination of research subjects was carried out by purpositive sampling. The research subjects were school principals, teachers and grade VI students. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. Data validity testing technique with source triagulation and method triagulation. The results of the study show that: 1) the formation of the character of tolerance is carried out by the principal and teachers for class VI students, namely through school culture with the policies and school activities that are implemented. 2) Found supporting and inhibiting factors in the formation of the character of tolerance. As supporting factors, namely teacher care, completeness of school facilities, regular communication, and cooperation.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of using the Talking Stick type Cooperative learning model on learning outcomes in science theme 6 Sub-theme 3 PB 1 in Class V students at SDN 107400 Bandar Khalipah. The sample of this study was class V SDN 107400 Bandar Khalipah which consisted of 2 classes, namely 24 students from the experimental class and 20 students from the control class. This research method is an experimental type of Quasy Experiment Design. The results showed that the learning outcomes using the Talking Stick model were higher than the learning outcomes of students using the conventional model. The results of the statistical test showed that the learning outcomes of students using the Cooperative Talking Stick type model were 47.83 in the pretest and 83.08 in the posttest, while the learning outcomes using the conventional model were 54.4 in the pretest and 66.2 in the posttest. Technical analysis of research data using the t-test formula. The results of the hypothesis prove that t count > t table or 5.136 > 2.081 at a significant level α = 0.05. so it can be concluded that Ho is rejected Ha is accepted. This means that there is a significant influence from the use of the Talking Stick cooperative learning model on student learning outcomes in the science content, theme 6, sub-theme 3 in fifth grade students at SDN 107400 Bandar Khalipah.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out how the effect of learning using the CIRC (Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition) model on student learning outcomes in class III theme 6 SDN 106158 Pematang Johar. This research is a quantitative study with a quasi-experimental methodology (Quasi Experimental Design). The design used was the Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The subjects in this study were 20 students in class III A and 24 students in class III B. Data collection techniques in this study used tests, observation, documentation and interviews. This study uses quantitative data analysis techniques. Data on student learning outcomes were collected using the theme 6 learning outcomes test which was given using the CIRC (Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition) learning model and using conventional. Data analysis using descriptive and inferential analysis techniques. The study results showed that the posttest average score of student learning outcomes using the CIRC (Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition) model was 83.40 and that of the control class was 72.50. Based on the t-test conducted on the experimental class posttest and control class posttest values, a t_count of 3.6340 and t_(table) 2.0810 is obtained at a significance level of 0.05. The t_table value can be seen in the attachment. Because t_count > t_table is 3.6340 > 2.0810 then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted which states that there is an influence of the CIRC (Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition) learning model on student learning outcomes in theme 6 sub-theme 4 learning 4 class III SDN 106158 Pematang Johar.

Abstract

This research is motivated by a learning process that rarely uses learning media in delivering material, so that students are less interested in following learning so that it affects student learning outcomes. The purpose of this study is to determine the richness, practicality, and effectiveness of using nearpod-based learning media. The type of research used is development research (Research and Development) which uses the ADDIE development model with 5 stages of research, namely Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The subject of this study was a grade V student of SDN 101775 Sampali. The instruments used in data collection are teacher interviews, material and media validation questionnaires, education practitioner questionnaires, and tests. The results of the development of nearpod-based learning media on fractional material, showed that the results of material validation got a percentage of 93.75% with the category "Very Feasible" and the results of media validation got a percentage of 93.75% with the category "Very Feasible". Practicality validation by educational practitioners obtained a percentage of 92.30% with the category "Very Practical". Based on the effectiveness test of nearpod-based learning media developed, students' scores increased with the pre-test obtaining an average score of 56 and after the post-test increased to 88. From the research and data found, it shows that the development of nearpod-based learning media is very feasible and effective to be used in the learning continuity process.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to produce a learning media in the form of E-Comic using Pixton which is feasible, effective and practical. The type of research used is research and development (R&D) which has a 4D development model developed by Thiagarajan namely Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The instruments used to collect data were teacher interviews, material and media validation questionnaires, educational practitioner (teacher) questionnaires, and test questions for students. The results of this study show that the validation of media experts gets a percentage of 97.27% after revision with the "Very Eligible" category. Material expert validation by getting a percentage of 96.47% in the "Very Eligible" category. In terms of practicality, this Pixton-based E-Comic learning media is considered practical which is assessed by educational practitioners with a percentage of 92.72% in the "Very Practical" category. Then. The level of effectiveness of this learning media can be seen from the results of the students' pre-test and post-test scores. The pre-test score showed effectiveness only at 46.23% in the "Ineffective" category while the post-test score increased to 81.61% in the "Effective" category. Based on this, it can be concluded that E-Comic based learning media using Pixton is declared feasible, practical and effective to be applied in the learning process in schools.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how much influence the teacher's leadership and communication skills have on the learning motivation of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 13 Pematang Siantar. Quantitative type research. The sampling technique in this study was a total sampling technique of 95 respondents. Data collection techniques using interviews, questionnaires (questionnaire) and documentation. The data obtained is questionnaire data. The instrument test used the Classical Assumption test and the hypothesis test used was the t partial test (T test), F simultaneous test (F test), and the coefficient of determination test (R^2). The results of the research and processing of partial test data (t test) show that tcount is 4,601 > ttable 1,98609 and the significance is 0,000 <0,005 so it can be concluded that the quality of teacher leadership has a significant effect on the learning motivation of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 13 Pematang Siantar. From the partial test (t test) the teacher's communication ability variable (X2) has a significant effect on student learning motivation with tcount 2,912 > 1,98609 and its significance is 0,005 = ttable 0,005 so it can be concluded that the suitability of teacher communication skills has a significant effect on student motivation in class VIII SMP Country 13 Pematang Siantar.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the snowball throwing cooperative learning model on student learning outcomes in social studies class VII at Teladan Private Middle School Pematang Siantar T.A 2022/2023. The study used a quasi-experimental method (quasi-experimental) with the Nonequivalent Control Group Design. This design consists of two stages, namely pretest and posttest. The sample in the study in class VII was 22 students and VII-2 was 22 students. The research instrument used was the learning achievement test. From the results of the analysis carried out in the experimental class with an average pretest score of 49.95 and a posttest of 70.68. While in the control class with an average pretest score of 50.23 and a posttest average score of 52.73. The results of testing the hypothesis using an independent sample t-test obtained tcount 4.941 > ttable 1.684 and a significance of 0.000 <0.005 so that it can be concluded that student learning outcomes are taught using the snowball throwing cooperative learning model which is influential and well used in learning.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of teacher readiness and student learning motivation on student learning outcomes in Social Studies Class VII Darma Pertiwi Junior High Scholl Bahbutong. The type of research used in this study is quantitative research with an associative approach to the research design using a survey design. The population in this study were all students of class VII SMP Darma Pertiwi Bahbutong Sidamanik totaling 82 students. The sample in this study were 82 students. The sampling technique used the total sample technique, namely the number of samples is equal to the total population. The data collection techniques used observation techniques, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. The data in this study were analyzed by the normality test, linearity test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, multiple regression analysis, t test, F test, and the coefficient of determination test. The results showed that there was an effect of teacher readiness on social studies learning outcomes of students with tcount > ttable (2.233 > 1.990). Furthermore, there was an influence of student learning motivation on student social studies learning outcomes with tcount > ttable (2,609 > 1,990). and there was an influence between teacher readiness to teach and student learning motivation on student social studies learning outcomes with Fcount > Ftable (3,783 > 3,111).
