Abstract

The Academic Attendance System (SIAKAD) is a crucial component in educational management at universities, aimed at facilitating the management of student attendance. This study aims to analyze student satisfaction with SIAKAD, focusing on user interface, available features, and its impact on the learning process. Data were collected through a survey involving 200 students from various programs and semesters, using a questionnaire designed to evaluate students' perceptions of the system. The results indicate that 75% of respondents access SIAKAD daily, with most spending 5-15 minutes each time. A majority of students (70%) find the user interface easy to use, although 30% of respondents indicated a need for improvements in navigation. The attendance and grade report features are the most frequently used, accessed by 85% and 70% of students, respectively. The impact of SIAKAD on the learning process is also significant, with 80% of respondents feeling that the system helps them manage attendance and enhance academic responsibility. This research is expected to provide useful insights for SIAKAD administrators in improving and developing the system in the future, as well as contribute to the literature on user satisfaction in higher education contexts. The findings also open opportunities for further studies on technology implementation in education and its effects on students' learning experiences.

Abstract

Online food delivery services are increasingly popular, with GoFood being one of the most sought-after platforms, offering convenience for users in meeting their daily food needs. This study aims to analyze user satisfaction with GoFood services using the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) method. This method was chosen as it evaluates user experience across various aspects, including attractiveness, clarity, efficiency, and stimulation. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 150 active GoFood users. The findings reveal that clarity and efficiency scored the highest, reflecting ease of use and service speed.Nevertheless, the stimulation aspect, which pertains to innovation and the appeal of the service, still requires improvement. These results offer valuable insights for developers to refine the user experience and bolster competitiveness in an ever-evolving market.

Abstract

Technological advancements have changed the landscape of payment apps significantly. This paper presents an analysis of how continuously evolving technology has enabled payment applications to provide more efficient and convenient solutions for users. Payment applications can not only be used in buying and selling transactions but can be applied in various applications such as digital libraries which are an important means of supporting information access and digital literacy. However, there are still many digital libraries that do not utilize automatic payment methods to increase user efficiency and convenience. This development aims to develop a digital library application with the integration of automatic payment methods to improve user experience and library management efficiency. The research results show that the integration of automatic payment methods in digital library applications can increase efficiency in the payment process. The practical implication of this research is to provide recommendations for digital library application developers to utilize automatic payment technology to improve the quality of library services and management.

Abstract

The stages of development and establishment of a region involve several key elements that require attention, including the construction of buildings that take into account the surrounding environmental conditions. Beams are structural components that function to transfer loads from slabs to columns, acting as horizontal reinforcement frames for the building. They support floor loads and connect upper columns. The purpose of this study is to review the existing beam elements and perform a reanalysis. The technique employed involves a beam evaluation using the SNI 2847:2013 standard. The results indicate that the beam analysis calculations align with field observations. The compression reinforcement installed in the beam did not yield, categorizing the beam element as tension-dominated. The spacing of the installed flexural reinforcement in the beam is D10-200. Calculation reviews show that the tensile reinforcement comprises 14D25 and 4D25, while the total compressive reinforcement amounts to 12D25. Thus, it can be concluded that the structural design complies with the technical specifications outlined in the applicable SNI standards.

Abstract

Project delays are caused by lack of good control, which affects the time and cost of completion, in determining and knowing the time performance and cost performance of the SP. Armed-Rumah Great Road Construction Project, Biru-Biru District, Deli Serdang Regency. Using the Earned Value method. Based on the results, the results of the time performance from month 1 to month 3 of the project experienced delays, this is indicated by the Schedule Variant (SV) indicator which has a negative value of Rp. - 356,103,446.04 or Schedule Performance Index (SPI) = 0.828 <1. In the 4th month it was faster than the planned schedule, this is indicated by the Schedule Variant (SV) indicator which has a positive value of Rp. 96,183,088.74 or Schedule Performance Index (SPI) = 1.019>1. And in the 5th and 6th months the schedule performance index (SPI) value shows a value of 1 which means that the construction project work is in accordance. Meanwhile, for cost performance from month 1 to month 3, it incurred smaller costs than planned, this is indicated by the negative Cost Variance (CV) indicator of Rp. -150,413,906.18 or Cost Performance Index (CPI) = 0.920 <1. In month 4 to month 6, the Cost Variance CV value is above the X axis with a positive value of Rp. 829,560,555.98 or Cost Performance Index (CPI) = 1.110 >1 due to the addition of labor and additional working hours in project implementation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of Batak Toba traditional leaders in shaping voting behavior during the 2022 village head election in Ujung Serdang Village, as well as to reveal their significant role in influencing the political behavior of local residents. The research was conducted in Ujung Serdang Village, a community with a strong Batak Toba population that upholds traditional cultural values, despite being situated in a modern urban area. The subjects of the study include influential traditional leaders and residents of Ujung Serdang Village. The research employed a qualitative descriptive method, with data collection techniques comprising structured interviews, literature review, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out through stages of data collection, reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that traditional leaders play a crucial role as agents of political socialization in influencing voting behavior during the Ujung Serdang village head election. Their roles include mobilizing, guiding, supervising, and engaging in decision-making. This influence is rooted in local cultural values such as Dalihan Na Tolu, which serves as a moral and social compass in leadership selection. However, the dynamics of voting behavior in Ujung Serdang show a shift, where rational considerations based on the candidates' visions, missions, and programs are becoming more dominant, surpassing purely social or emotional ties. This dominance of a rational approach reflects a growing political awareness and a desire among the community to elect leaders who offer real change and tangible progress. Although traditional leaders remain significant as mediators, agents of political socialization, and guardians of customary norms, their influence increasingly depends on the ability of the candidates they support to persuade voters with measurable ideas and plans. The interaction between traditional authority and voter rationality ultimately shapes the election outcome, reflecting an evolution in the democratic process at the local level.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the distribution pattern of clean water, identify the largest production capacity, and examine the distribution of the highest number of customers of clean water companies in several provinces in Indonesia using the K-Means algorithm. The data used includes distribution of delivery, potential production capacity (liters per second), and the number of customers of clean water companies across various provinces in Indonesia. The K-Means method is applied to cluster provinces based on the similarity of distribution patterns, production capacity, and customer numbers. The analysis results reveal significant clustering, where certain provinces have high clean water production capacity and a large number of customers, with the volume of water distributed matching the production capacity. These findings indicate a good balance between production capacity, the number of customers, and the volume of water distribution. This study focuses on the analysis of clean water distribution, the largest production capacity, and customers of clean water companies in various provinces in Indonesia. The insights gained can assist companies in designing more efficient distribution strategies to optimally meet customers needs across different regions. This contributes to the sustainable and equitable management of clean water resources.

Abstract

A comparative analysis of genetic algorithm optimization methods on the performance of Artificial Neural Network (ANN) and K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) in heart disease classification shows significant results. The research used a heart disease dataset consisting of 303 samples with 14 attributes. Genetic algorithm optimization produced substantial performance improvements in both models. The optimized ANN model achieved 94.85% accuracy, 93.00% precision, 97.00% recall, and 97.00% ROC AUC, demonstrating excellence in positive case identification. Meanwhile, the optimized KNN model achieved 93.30% accuracy, 92.00% precision, 95.00% recall, and 96.77% ROC AUC, yielding more balanced performance. The genetic algorithm optimization method proves its effectiveness in improving heart disease classification accuracy, where ANN is optimal for applications requiring high sensitivity and KNN is more stable for small datasets.

Abstract

Degenerative musculoskeletal illnesses may be better understood and diagnosed with a firm grasp of human anatomy. Disc degeneration, osteoarthritis, and osteoporosis are degenerative illnesses that impact the body's ability to function, particularly in older individuals. The ability to accurately diagnose musculoskeletal disorders depends on medical professionals' in-depth familiarity of the normal anatomy and physiology of the musculoskeletal system. The purpose of this research is to better understand how accurate anatomy may aid in the diagnosis of degenerative illnesses at an early stage and how this understanding can inform the development of more efficient methods of prevention and therapy. New clinical approaches to the therapy of degenerative musculoskeletal illnesses may be illuminated by the findings of this investigation.

Abstract

The Industrial Revolution 4.0 has brought significant changes to the machinery industry through automation, Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence (AI), and other technologies. The implementation of these technologies provides opportunities and challenges for the machinery industry, including production efficiency, quality improvement, and regulatory and policy challenges. This study aims to analyze the challenges faced by the machinery industry in implementing the Industrial Revolution 4.0 and the role of state administration in regulating and supporting this transformation. With a qualitative approach based on literature studies, this study found that adaptive regulations, incentives for industry, and increasing human resource capacity are the keys to success in implementing the Industrial Revolution 4.0. The implementation of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 in the machinery industry offers great opportunities, but also faces significant challenges such as infrastructure readiness, limited skilled labor, and regulations that are not yet adaptive. State administration has an important role in supporting this transformation through adaptive regulations, incentives for industry, and human resource capacity improvement programs. To achieve success in implementing the Industrial Revolution 4.0, collaboration between government, industry, and academics is needed
