Abstract

In the increasingly advanced digital era, information technology plays an important role in various industries, including mining and construction. PT. Pamapersada Nusantara District MTBU, as one of the largest mining contractors in Indonesia, faces the need to manage data and information systems efficiently. In this context, the author conducted an internship in the IT department of PT. Pamapersada Nusantara District MTBU with a focus on developing an Android-based book collection application. The purpose of this project is to learn how to connect SQL Server Management Studio with the Model-View-Controller (MVC) architecture, design a book collection management information system, and build an Android application with an MVC architecture to connect to SQL Server. The software development method used is Rapid Application Development (RAD), which focuses on planning, designing, and implementing systems with an object-oriented approach to accelerate the development process. The application developed is able to perform CRUD (Create, Read, Update, Delete) operations on book data and display information in real-time. The use of the MVC architecture ensures a clear separation between business logic, user interface, and data management, thus facilitating application development and maintenance. This application provides two types of user access, namely Admin who has full rights to manage book data and User who can only read and display book data. Although this application is not directly integrated with the operations of PT. Pamapersada Nusantara District MTBU, this project has succeeded in achieving its main goal as a learning tool in developing mobile applications with relevant technology.

Abstract

Guru perlu menguasai suatu strategi atau metode yang tepat dalam proses pembelajaran untuk mencapai hasil belajar yang lebih baik. Dengan guru memiliki strategi mengajar diharapkan belajar menjadi lebih efektif, efisien dan tercapai tujuan yang akan diharapkan. Salah satu langkah untuk memiliki strategi ini adalah guru harus dapat menguasai mengelola kelas dan menguasai kelas. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah adalah library research atau penelitian Pustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan strategi pengelolaan kelas yang efektif dilakukan guru dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa tercermin dari pengoptimalam pengelolaan kelas yang efektif, adanya hasrat dan keinginan berhasil, adanya dorongan dan kebutuhan dalam belajar, adanya harapan dan cita-cita masa depan, adanya penghargaan dalam belajar, adanya kegiatan yang menarik dalam belajar, dan adanya lingkungan belajar yang kondusif. Penelitian memberikan kesimpulan bahwa motivasi belajar siswa dapat meningkat dengan strategi guru dalam pengelolaan kelas yang efektif.

Abstract

The Relationship Between Parental Support and Sexual Behavior Trends in Adolescents in North Bekasi. This study aims to find out whether there is a relationship between parental support and sexual behavior in adolescents. The research method used is quantitative. Adolescence is known as adolescence is someone who grows into an adult or is known as the development of becoming an adult. When they enter adolescence, they should need to get more attention and supervision from their parents. One way is to put them in a good environment. The problem that usually occurs in adolescence is usually promiscuity. The results of this study obtained a correlation coefficient score of 0.403 with a significance level of 0.002 (p<0.5) which show that the hypothesis is accepted, which means that there is a relationship between parental support and sexual behavior trends in adolancents in the north Bekasi.

Abstract

This study explores the development of an innovative real-time operating system aimed at enhancing time precision for applications with very high timing requirements, utilizing both Windows and Linux operating systems. By investigating and analyzing novel techniques in task management, priority scheduling, and hardware-software interactions, this research seeks to ensure optimal real-time performance. The findings are expected to make significant contributions to the development of critical applications requiring high accuracy and strict timing precision, and provide insights into the implementation of real-time solutions within commonly used operating system platforms.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the implementation of regional government information systems in Manado City with a focus on the Regional Planning, Research and Development Agency (Bapelitbangda). The method used is a literature study which includes analysis of various sources of related information. The research results show that the implementation of regional government information systems has a significant impact on the efficiency and effectiveness of public administration.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate English vocabulary mastery among tourism students in the hospitality sector. Seven key areas of vocabulary proficiency were assessed, encompassing basic hotel vocabulary, travel and tourism terminology, hotel systems and operations, hotel services and amenities, room types, marketing and promotion, and hotel department functions. A qualitative descriptive method was employed, involving 26 purposively sampled tourism students from Universitas Negeri Gorontalo during the even semester of the 2023-2024 academic year. Data were collected through direct observation and vocabulary tests, designed using four game-based activities on the Wordwall platform: wordsearch, anagram, gameshow quiz, and match-up. The findings reveal significant variation in vocabulary mastery across different topics. The "Travel and Tourism Terminology" topic achieved the highest average score at 89%, followed by "Hotel Services and Amenities" at 71%, "Basic Hotel Vocabulary" at 63%, "Hotel Department Functions" at 59%, "Room Types" at 54%, "Marketing and Promotion" at 48%, and "Hotel Systems and Operations" at 37%.  The “Wordsearch” and “Gameshow Quiz” games were found to be easier,“Match Up” presented a moderate to high level of difficulty, and “Anagram” was the most challenging, requiring quick and logical thinking. The study highlights the need for increased focus on topics with lower vocabulary proficiency to enhance student competence. It recommends the use of Wordwall as an effective instructional tool, but it should be integrated with supplementary teaching strategies to address the challenges in mastering specific vocabulary.

Abstract

This article discusses the importance of the regional approach in reducing development disparities across various regions. In the context of regional development in Banten Province, the development strategy focuses on spatial planning, infrastructure, settlements, and sustainable economic growth. Through a literature review, this article identifies regional development theories, the morphological profile of the Banten region, population density by regency/city, as well as regional development strategies in Banten. The discussion covers development theories, the general overview of the Banten region, population density, equitable distribution and regional development, as well as forms of regional development within the development strategy. The research method used in this article is a literature review, which involves the collection, analysis, and synthesis of information from various written sources relevant to the topic of regional development in Banten Province. Through the literature review, the authors examine and summarize the findings from previous research, books, scientific articles, and other academic sources related to regional development. The results of the literature review research method are a comprehensive and in-depth understanding of the regional development of Banten Province in the context of development. From the analysis of various written sources, this article identifies the importance of the regional approach in reducing development disparities, as well as regional development strategies that focus on spatial planning, infrastructure, settlements, and sustainable economic growth in Banten.

Abstract

Sliced cheese merupakan keju yang dipotong menjadi irisan tipis dengan ukuran yang seragam. Keju terbentuk dari gumpalan akibat koagulasi protein susu oleh enzim rennet. Rennet memiliki harga yang relatif mahal sehingga dibutuhkan alternatif yang dapat digunakan dalam proses koagulasi. Salah satu alternatifnya adalah enzim papain dari getah pepaya. Namun, penggunaan papain tersebut dapat berdampak pada tekstur keju yang mengeras sehingga ditambahkan minyak jagung untuk memperbaiki tekstur dari keju tersebut karena mengandung asam lemak tak jenuh yang tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui konsentrasi minyak jagung yang akan menghasilkan pH, kekompakan (firmness), dan keempukan terbaik. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Januari-Maret 2024 di Laboratorium Teknologi Pengolahan Produk Peternakan dan Laboratorium Riset dan Pengujian Bioteknologi, Fakultas Peternakan, Universitas Padjadjaran. Penelitian ini dilakukan secara eksperimental dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) menggunakan empat perlakuan dan lima ulangan dengan persentase minyak jagung yang terdiri dari P0 (tanpa pemberian minyak jagung), P1 (5%), P2 (10%), dan P3 (15%). Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis sidik ragam dan uji jarak berganda Duncan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penambahan minyak jagung pada pembuatan sliced cheese memberikan pengaruh yang sama terhadap nilai pH dan keempukan. Namun, menurunkan nilai kekompakan (firmness). Penambahan minyak jagung dengan konsentrasi 5% merupakan konsentrasi terbaik karena menghasilkan nilai kekompakan (firmness) yang tinggi.

Abstract

Self-concept is an important thing that will determine how a person views himself. It is important for every child to have a good self-concept so that undesirable things do not happen, such as committing crimes that will bring them into trouble with the law. This research aims to determine the description of children's self-concept in dealing with the law, the factors that influence children's self-concept in dealing with the law. This research uses a qualitative case study research method where data collection used is in the form of interview and documentation techniques. The respondents in this study were two children in conflict with the law. The research results showed that both respondents, through the aspects of self-knowledge, self-assessment and self-expectation, found that the self-concept of Children in Conflict with the Law was positive. The respondent's self-knowledge is very good, he is able to accept his own strengths and weaknesses. Respondents' self-assessment was very positive, they really respected themselves and others. As well as positive self-hope for the future. However, family relationships are a factor that influences the self-concept of Children in Conflict with the Law and other factors, namely peer and community factors. On the other hand, if there is not a good relationship, the child tends to have a negative self-concept towards himself.

Abstract

This research was aimed to find out the influence of brand image and price perception on purchasing decisions. This research used quantitative methods with the typical Balige Sarong business object. In this research, the independent variables were brand image and price perception, while the dependent variable is purchasing decisions. The population of this research was the entire Balige community. Samples were taken from the population using Non-Probability Sampling techniques with Accidental Sampling techniques. This research has a target sample of 100 business actors (distributors and retailers) and buyers of Khas Balige sarongs. The research instrument used to collect data was a Likert scale questionnaire. The instrument was tested using SPSS Amos 26. The data analysis method used in this research was multiple linear regression analysis and hypothesis testing (t-test). The research results showed that there was a high influence on brand image and price perception and purchasing decisions by 93%. Each independent variable also influences the dependent variable. Brand image has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. This was indicated by the Critical Ratio (CR) value of 3.149 with probability = 0.002 < 0.005. Price perception has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. This was indicated by the Critical Ratio (CR) value of 2.959 with probability = 0.003 < 0.005.
