Abstract

In an increasingly advanced digital era, technology has a very important role in increasing information accessibility for all individuals, including people with disabilities. One approach that has proven effective in improving their quality of life is the development of Android-based applications specifically designed to meet their needs. This article discusses the design of the "EmpatiKu" application which aims to increase information accessibility for people with disabilities, with a focus on the use of technology to support independence and social inclusion. The development of information and communication technology has opened up new opportunities in efforts to overcome the challenges of information accessibility for people with disabilities. The "EmpatiKu" application is designed to present innovative solutions that utilize the power of Android as the main platform. Using features such as voice recognition, disability-friendly navigation, and an easy-to-access interface, the app aims to provide a bridge to information often encountered by those with physical or sensory limitations.

Abstract

The issuance of National Library Regulation Number 10 of 2023 concerning National Standards for Special School Libraries can be a reference to determine the suitability of the application of special school library components. The purpose of this study is to determine the analysis of service and staff components in the Special School (SLB) Negeri Cicendo Library based on the standards in National Library Regulation Number 10 of 2023. In this study, a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach was used. The results show that the SLB Negeri Cicendo Library had implemented 7 out of 13 indicators in the service and staff components of the library. Applied 2 indicators out of a total of 4 indicators in the library service component. Applied 5 indicators out of a total of 9 indicators in the library staff component.

Abstract

Today's business world is very competitive in all fields, especially in the beauty industry. With the various types of beauty products on the market, consumers are increasingly cautious in choosing the skin care they are interested in. The development of a global cosmetic and skincare business has had a significant impact on the rapid expansion of the Indonesian market. Somethinc, a local facial care business, was founded in March 2019 by Irene Ursula, a highly accomplished woman.  This study aims to test and assess the influence of product quality on consumer purchasing choices among UBP Karawang students regarding Somethinc facial care products. In this study, quantitative methodology was applied, and the sample size was one hundred people. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) methodology was used in this study, and SmartPLS software was used to conduct the investigation. According to the results of a study conducted in 2024 by Sukawati and colleagues, product quality does not have a substantial impact on the decisions consumers make regarding their next purchase. It is true that this is the situation.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out and to make an analogy of the poet's visualization of three different poems with religious genres. The themes raised in the poetry are also different, there are also poems with the theme of people's struggle, the theme of human greed for nature, as well as religious themes whose meaning is often revealed implicitly in poetry. This study uses qualitative research using a comparative literature approach. The data taken in this study are the text of the poem "Sajadah Panjang" by Taufiq Ismail, the poem "Insaf" by Amir Hamzah, and the poem "When You Pray" by Emha Ainun Najib. By using data analysis techniques, namely by way of content analysis techniques. From the results of this study it was found regarding the depiction of Taufiq Ismail, Amir Hamzah, and Emha Ainun Najib on the relationship between humans and God which is built through poetry. The three poems that have been reviewed show some similarities that can be seen upon further examination.

His educational philosophy emphasizes experiential learning, critical thinking, and moral development. According to Dewantara, liberating education not only imparts knowledge but also instills values of care and justice, which are crucial for building an inclusive society. Thus, this approach to education holds significant potential for advancing Indonesia and fostering a generation that is both caring and just.

Abstract

This research aims to determine burnout among Central Statistics Agency employees. The research method used is a qualitative method, qualitative data was obtained through in-depth interviews with BPS employees, the community received statistical information from the Karawang Central Statistics Agency (BPS). BPS employees are highly dependent on their performance, which has a direct impact on monitoring information and public services. However, the stressful work environment at BPS Karawang often leads to burnout, chronic stress conditions, and an imbalance between personal and work life. Burnout reduces organizational and individual performance. The aim of this research is to identify the causes of fatigue at BPS Karawang, effective stress management techniques, and prevention strategies. This research is expected to provide management with knowledge about how to create a healthy and productive work environment, improve employee health, and maintain organizational efficiency in the face of rapid social and economic change.

Abstract

Education in Indonesia is currently still colored by various problems, one of which is the lack of independence for students. This can be seen from the learning system that is still centered on teachers, a rigid curriculum, and assessments that only focus on cognitive aspects. This condition causes students to have no room to develop their potential and talents optimally. One effort to realize independent education is to develop an active and participatory learning culture. This can be done by using constructivist learning theory. The method used in this study is a literature study by collecting data from previous research results and their relevant results. The purpose of the literature study in this study is 1) to find the problem to be studied, 2) to find information and data that is relevant to the topic to be discussed, 3) to add new knowledge from the results of the research being studied, 4) to test a basic truth of the theoretical approach in the problem being studied. While the analysis technique used is content analysis. The results of this study indicate that constructivist learning theory is effective in liberating students (SD). Several previous studies have used this theory in dealing with the problem of restraint/restriction of learning in children. This is because this theory directs learning according to their nature, interests, and talents by directing the active role of students in building their own knowledge so that students can freely develop and process in learning.

Abstract

This study examines the role of Civic Education (Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan - PKn) in fostering national identity awareness among teenagers. Utilizing a literature review methodology, this research compiles and analyzes findings from various Indonesian journals. The results indicate that effective PKn education, particularly when utilizing interactive teaching methods such as discussions, simulations, and group projects, significantly enhances students' understanding and appreciation of national values, history, and symbols. Despite these positive outcomes, the study identifies challenges such as inadequate resources and differing interpretations of national values across regions. It emphasizes the importance of competent educators and the integration of Pancasila values in the PKn curriculum. The study concludes that with proper support from the government, schools, and the community, PKn can effectively cultivate a strong national identity in the younger generation, preparing them to face global challenges while maintaining their national identity.

Abstract

This study examined the experiences of anesthesiology nursing students during their first clinical experience. Students often feel unprepared, anxious, and afraid of making mistakes, due to a lack of mastery of theory and practice, as well as concerns related to trust from anesthesia administrators. This study used a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. i.e. the researcher identifies the essence of the participant's experience of a phenomenon experienced. This study found that nursing students experience significant stress during their initial clinical practice. This stress is caused by the new environment, fear of making mistakes, and pressure from senior staff, which can negatively affect their mood, health, and relationships. However, stress can also motivate students to learn and improve their skills. This study concluded that nursing students in anesthesiology experience a range of emotions during their initial hospital practice. Initially, they faced negative feelings such as anxiety and lack of confidence, which manifested as physical symptoms such as nervousness and confusion. However, these challenges are mitigated through positive thinking and preparation, leading to personal growth and self-esteem after practice.

Abstract

Fenomena mahasiwa memiliki peran ganda yaitu bekerja dan kuliah secara bersamaan bukan hal yang baru. Dengan kata lain, bukan hal yang tidak mungkin bagi seseorang pekerja bisa melanjutkan studi ke perguruan tinggi. Resiliensi memiliki peran signifikan dalam mempengaruhi kemampuan mahasiswa kelas pekerja dalam mempertahankan motivasi, mengatasi hambatan akademik, serta menyeimbangkan antara komitmen akademik dan professional mereka. mahasiswa kelas pekerja yang memiliki tingkat optimisme yang tinggi cenderung memiliki motivasi yang lebih tinggi untuk mencapai tujuan akademik dan karier mereka, meskipun dihadapkan pada beban waktu dan tekanan dari pekerjaan. Mereka cenderung memiliki kesuksesan dalam studi mereka. Maka dapat disimpulkan tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui adanya hubungan antara optimisme dengan resiliensi pada mahasiswa kelas pekerja. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif korelasional. Metode penelitian kuantitatif korelasional yang diterapkan pada penelitian ini telah disesuaikan dengan tujuan penelitian untuk menentukan apakah terdapat hubungan antara optimisme dan resiliensi pada mahasiswa kelas pekerja. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif. Subyek pada penelitian ini adalah 115 mahasiswa yang mengambil kelas pekerja di Universitas X Kota Bekasi. Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan skala optimisme dari (Carver et al., 2010)  Life Orientation Test-Revised (LOT-R) dan skala resiliensi oleh (Connor dan Davidson, 2003) resilience scale (CD-RISC).Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan SPSS ditemukan hasil (koefisien korelasi 0,059* dengan nilai sig 0,013 p= >0,005) yang artinya terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan terhadap optimisme dengan resiliensi.
