Abstract

Philosophy of science is a branch of philosophy that is related to other sciences and is part of science. Philosophy defines the existence of science and uses knowledge as a way of thinking and a way of communicating science. Science can be likened to an attempt to bridge the gap between philosophy and science, so that science does not underestimate philosophy and philosophy does not view science as having a deep meaning. The Relationship between Religion and Science from the History of Islamic and Western Philosophy. Science comes from human thought, religion comes from revelation. Philosophy approaches the truth through empirical investigation, while philosophy seeks the truth through investigation, experience, and research.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan mengklasifikasikan jenis-jenis metafora yang terdapat dalam lirik Earth Song oleh Michael Jackson serta menganalisis strategi penerjemahan yang digunakan untuk menerjemahkan metafora dalam lirik Earth Song dari bahasa Inggris ke bahasa Indonesia di aplikasi Spotify. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori metafora dan teori penerjemahan metafora oleh Newmark. Metafora didefinisikan sebagai semua ungkapan stilistik yang mempersonifikasikan sesuatu yang abstrak atau menjelaskan sesuatu dengan istilah lain. Teori penerjemahan metafora digunakan untuk menganalisis bagaimana metafora dalam bahasa Inggris diterjemahkan ke dalam bahasa Indonesia. Penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif dengan pendekatan teori penerjemahan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, strategi nomor 2, yaitu menerjemahkan metafora dengan metafora serupa dalam bahasa target, adalah strategi yang paling banyak digunakan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi dengan Kemampuan Komunikasi Guru yang akan berpengaruh pada Keaktifan Belajar Siswa pada kelas X SMA Al-Islam Krian Sidoarjo. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana meningkatkan Kemampuan Komunikasi Guru tepatnya di kelas X SMA Al-Islam Krian dan untuk mengatahui pengaruh dari Kemampuan Komunikasi Guru pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan agama islam terhadap Keaktifan Belajar Siswa di kelas X SMA Al-Islam Krian. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan datanya menggunakan wawancara, angket dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan analisis data yang digunakan, diketahui bahwa tingkat penerapan Kemampuan Komunikasi Guru pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan agama islam di kelas X SMA Al-Islam Krian besarnya 67,25%, yang masuk pada interval 56 – 75% dan dikategorikan Cukup Baik. Sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa terdapat hubungan atau pengaruh yang sangat baik antara Kemampuan Komunikasi Guru terhadap Keaktifan Belajar Siswa di SMA AL-Islam Krian Sidoarjo.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) Know the public's perception of the price, packaging, brand and label of powdered palm sugar and crystal palm sugar in Kendari City and (2) Know the Priorities for the community related to the price, packaging, brand and label of palm sugar and crystal sugar in Kendari City. The location of this study is Kendari City, precisely at several palm sugar drink outlets. This location was chosen as a deliberate research location, namely (Purposive Sampling), based on consideration of the number of outlets for drinks made from palm sugar. The population is the people of Kendari City who consume powdered palm sugar and crystalline palm sugar. The sampling technique uses the Purposive sampling technique, which is sampling based on data based on the consideration that respondents have bought powdered palm sugar and crystal sugar in Kendari City, the number of samples in this study was as many as 50 respondents who would be spread in Kendari City. The data analysis used in this study is the analysis of consumer perceptions and the analysis of index values. The results showed that (1) Rata-average powdered palm sugar in terms of price, packaging, brand and label is superior to crystal sugar. It can be interpreted that ristal sugar is less attractive to respondents , causing a lack of consumer interest in sugar crystalline and (2) highter riority P for powdered palm sugar is information about the composition/content of the product on the label variables and the lowest priority is the size of the packaging on the packaging varibels while the highest priority crystals are Information about the expiration period on the label variable and the lowest priority is Information about the benefits of the product on varibel labels .

Abstract

This research investigates the roles of savings and loan cooperatives (SLCs) and industrial clusters in supporting industrialization. SLCs, as member-based financial entities, provide crucial funding access for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and promote local economic empowerment through inclusive financial services. On the other hand, industrial clusters, characterized by a geographic concentration of related businesses and institutions, drive efficiency, innovation, and market development within the industrial sector.The study aims to analyze the interaction between SLCs and industrial clusters and their impacts on industrialization. Findings indicate that synergy between these entities can create an ecosystem that supports sustainable and inclusive industrial growth, enhances regional competitiveness, and improves the economic welfare of local communities.In conclusion, the synergistic cooperation between SLCs and industrial clusters holds significant potential to accelerate the industrialization process. Therefore, this research recommends support from governments, financial institutions, and other stakeholders to facilitate such collaboration for advancing the industrial sector and promoting sustainable economic development.

Abstract

This study examines the relationship between extensive reading habits and the reading skills of English students at Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. Extensive reading is a reading practice that involves reading a substantial quantity of material at an appropriate level to gain a comprehensive understanding. This approach is believed to enhance reading abilities and foster a positive reading habit. This study focuses on reading as a daily practice rather than as a discrete classroom activity. The study employs interviews with three students who engage in extensive reading to ascertaintheir attitudes toward reading, reading frequency, reading preferences, and sources of motivation. These students exhibit positive attitudes toward reading, read frequently, enjoy various types of books, and are motivated by their family and academic environment. These habits lead to better vocabulary and reading comprehension. The study concludes that extensive reading helps improve reading skills and recommends that students make it a regular part of their lives and that teachers support and encourage extensive reading.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of education level, understanding of accounting and application of accounting on MSME financial reports. This research includes field research. The sample used in this research was 40 small entrepreneurs in South Tangerang. Sampling technique with saturated samples. Data collection techniques use questionnaires and direct observation. The data analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis. With the help of the SPSS v.22 application program. The results of the research show that the level of education and understanding of accounting have an influence on the financial reports of SMEs, while the application of accounting has no influence on the financial reports of umkms.

Abstract

This study explores the learning styles of Generation Z students in the context of learning English at an Islamic Junior High School. Generation Z, characterized by its digital nativity and diverse learning preferences, presents unique challenges and opportunities for educators. The research employed qualitative methods to investigate how these students engage with English language learning, focusing on their preferred learning styles, technological integration, and cultural influences within an Islamic educational environment. Findings suggest that while digital tools are widely embraced, traditional pedagogical approaches remain influential. The study concludes with implications for educators to better cater to Gen Z's learning preferences while respecting the cultural and religious contexts of Islamic education.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine whether entrepreneurial behavior has a significant effect on business success, to determine whether the family environment has a significant effect on business success and to determine whether entrepreneurial behavior and family environment have a significant effect on the success of culinary businesses in Medan Johor District. The population in this study was 47 culinary MSMEs in Medan Johor District. The sample in the study was 47 culinary MSMEs in Medan Johor District which was carried out using saturated samples. The data collection technique used in this study was carried out by distributing questionnaires. The analysis technique used in this study was multiple linear regression, partial test (t-test), simultaneous significance test (F-test) and coefficient of determination. The results of the study showed that there was an influence of entrepreneurial behavior on business success, there was an influence of the family environment on business success and there was an influence of entrepreneurial behavior and family environment on business success in MSMEs in Medan Johor District.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze and describe the capacity development of village officials towards a digital village in Doulan Village, Bokat District, Buol Regency as seen from: Joint Committee, Education, Knowledge, Leadership and Skills. This research method uses a descriptive approach with qualitative data analysis. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, documentation. The data analysis technique goes through the following stages: Data Reduction, Data Presentation and Data Verification. Based on the results of research analyzed in the field, the capacity development of village officials towards a digital village in Doulan Village, Bokat District, Buol Regency is seen from: Joint Committee, Education, Knowledge, Leadership and Skills. It has been implemented well, but there are still several things that need to be addressed and improved, namely the lack of knowledge regarding village digital. The need for technical guidance which is often provided by the local government. As well as increasing network capacity or signals used when inputting data.
