Abstract

This research is motivated by the efforts of the Fisheries Production Sector in optimizing the role and complementing the duties of the UPT BPAT Ngoro owned by the Food Security and Fisheries Service of Jombang Regency as a center of education (COE) for the community. Because before this program was inaugurated, the UPT was still limited in terms of education and only carried out the institutional duties to produce quality fish seeds for farmers. The aim is to evaluate and analyze the policy of the fish cultivation development strategy program (Sambang Budiman) at the UPT Freshwater Fisheries Cultivation (BPAT) Ngoro, Jombang Regency using a formal retrospective evaluation model according to William N Dunn (2003) with 6 indicators: effectiveness, efficiency, adequacy, equity, responsiveness, and accuracy. The research findings show that the performance results of the four activities of the Sambang Budiman program have succeeded in making UPT BPAT Ngoro a fisheries education institution, but there are still structural challenges such as the limited adequacy of fisheries education house activities in reaching students, responsiveness through the distribution of beneficiary results after participating in technical guidance activities, and inequality in human resource efficiency in fish seed production. The input given is more attention from the implementer's disposition in highlighting potential gaps in activities in the Sambang Budiman program that have been realized.

Abstract

Lack of maternal knowledge about Chronic Energy Deficiency is one of the indirect causes of maternal and infant mortality. Comprehensive Midwifery Care is one way to reduce MMR and IMR, especially those that occur in PMB Hj.SRI NIRMALA. The purpose of this Final Assignment Report is to provide comprehensive care for pregnant women, childbirth, newborns, postpartum period, and family planning with the SOAP method. Comprehensive midwifery care is carried out at PMB Hj.Sri Nirmala starting from the third trimester of pregnancy, childbirth, BBL, postpartum period and family planning. Care began on February 8 to April 6, 2024. This comprehensive midwifery care was carried out on Mrs. R, 26 years old G2P1A0 at 36 weeks of pregnancy at PMB Hj.Sri Nirmala. There were 2 pregnancy visits, 1 delivery, 4 postpartum visits, 3 BBL visits, and 1 family planning visit. During pregnancy, the mother did not have any complaints and the examination results were normal. On February 25, 2024, the mother reported signs of labor at 40 weeks and 2 days gestation. The labor process proceeded normally at PMB Hj. Sri Nirmala, with the first stage lasting 6 hours, the second stage lasting 20 minutes, the third stage lasting 10 minutes, and the fourth stage lasting 2 hours. Postpartum and newborn visits showed normal maternal and infant health. At the 6-week visit, the mother had received a 3-month contraceptive injection. With comprehensive midwifery care and IEC, it is hoped that the client will implement it so that the mother and baby remain healthy, thereby reducing maternal and infant mortality

Abstract

Packaging is the first identifier that can attract consumers' attention to a product. Persuasive packaging design and specific visual design not only influence purchasing decisions, but also form a strong psychology of perception. In an increasingly competitive market, companies are required to create more creative packaging and build positive perception psychology. This study aims to analyze the influence of packaging design and its visual elements on the formation of preferences in terms of imagination of the flavor to be selected. To find out more, the research was conducted using a quantitative approach through an open online survey participated by 111 respondents, then divided into four age groups, which are 15-20 years old, 21-25 years old, 26-30 years old, and 30 years old and above. Then, the data was analyzed to identify consumption frequency, brand preferences, and consumer perceptions related to packaging design and the psychology of perception. Results show that the visual appearance of packaging is a dominant factor in purchasing decisions, especially among respondents aged 15-30. Perceptual psychology also plays a significant role, with brands such as Buavita being a top favorite due to its perceived trustworthiness and quality. However, there were concerns among the older age group regarding sugar content and nutritional value. Attractive packaging design and strong perceptual psychology can increase consumer preference for a product. Manufacturers are advised to continue to improve the visual elements of packaging as well as the transparency of information on labels to address consumers' health-related concerns.

Abstract

Several factors influence the use of contraceptive implants, including light spotting, weight gain, changes in menstrual cycles, and nausea and vomiting. This study used an analytical survey method with a cross-sectional design. The population was all mothers who were accepting family planning who visited the Pegayut Community Health Center in Ogan Ilir Regency. the Chi-Square statistical test, a p value of 0.000 was obtained (? = ? 0.05), meaning that there is a significant relationship between light spotting and the use of implant contraception at the Pegayut Health Center, Ogan Ilir Regency, and the results of the Chi-Square statistical test, a p value of 0.002 was obtained (? = ? 0.05), meaning that there is a significant relationship between weight gain and the use of implant contraception at the Pegayut Health Center, Ogan Ilir Regency. Thus, the hypothesis that states there is a relationship between weight gain and the use of implant contraception is statistically proven. Thus, there is a relationship between Light Spotting, Weight Gain and changes in the menstrual cycle with the use of Implant contraception at the Pegayut Health Center, Ogan Ilir Regency. It is hoped that health workers will improve health services and counseling among mothers, especially health workers (midwives) and policy makers in the implementation of health services so that acceptor mothers can gain knowledge about appropriate contraceptives.

Abstract

Indonesia faces dual challenges in the form of high dependence on coal and increased volumes of leaf and ranting organic waste. This study studied the development of biomass pellets from leaf litter and ranting as renewable energy (EBT) initiated by PT Building Solutions Indonesia (SBI) Cilacap together with Cilacap State Polytechnic. Analysis includes technical concepts, environmental impacts through a life cycle approach, as well as implementation potentials and challenges. Results show the use of biomass pellets can decrease net greenhouse gas and methane gas emissions from leaf burning and ranting by the community, as well as supporting the circular economy model. The main challenges include production energy consumption and particulate emission control. The concept is technically and ecologically feasible with optimization and policy support as a prerequisite for commercialization.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the philosophical practice of online gambling in the view of Thomas Hobbes' philosophy, particularly in his view of human nature. This study uses a qualitative research method based on literature study (research study). The results of this study show that online gamblers reflect the state of nature, which is a natural state where humans act based on their personal interests without effective legal control. Online gambling illustrates the failure of the state as a leviathan to regulate society in the digital realm, thereby weakening the social contract. This is because online gambling addiction can lead to criminality and domestic violence, not to mention mental health issues. In Hobbes's view, humans are rational beings driven by fear, the desire to preserve themselves, and ambition for power. It can be understood that, according to Hobbes, human consciousness is formed from utilitarian consciousness, not moral consciousness, so it is necessary to design measures to instill fear of violations, not just ethical appeals.

Abstract

The use of mangosteen leaves (Garcinia mangostana L.) as traditional medicine is becoming increasingly widespread due to their content of bioactive compounds such as xanthones, flavonoids, and tannins, which are known to have various pharmacological potentials. However, information regarding their safety aspects is still limited, necessitating further research. This study aims to determine the LD50 dose of mangosteen leaf ethanol extract that causes acute toxicity in male wistar rats using the Up and Down Procedure method based on OECD Guideline 425. The study was conducted at the limit test stage using five test animals with a single dose of 2000 mg/kgBW the extract was administered orally to one rat and observed for 24 hours. The results showed that two of the five rats died, but the mortality rate was still below 50%, so the study did not proceed to the main test stage. Based on OECD guideline 425, the LD?? value is estimated to be greater than 2000 mg/kgBW and is classified as mildly toxic according to the GHS (Globally Harmonized System) classification. The conclusion of this study is that the ethanol extract of mangosteen leaves at a dose of 2000 mg/kgBW exhibits low toxicity and has the potential to be safe as a candidate herbal medicine ingredient.

Abstract

Lack of affection from both parents and also the loss of someone who is deeply loved can cause someone to withdraw from social interactions. Someone who withdraws from social interactions, especially teenagers, can result in them becoming victims of bullying. The consequences of this bullying can have an impact on the victim’s mental health. This study aims to describe the types of bullying experienced by Cassandra, the main character in the novel The Nerd Can Fight. This study uses the theory of personality structure by Sigmund Freud and a psychoanalytic/psychological approach. Due to the death of her brother, Cassandra feels lost, guilty, traumatized, and upset, so she withdraws more from her friends. The results of the study concluded that three types of bullying in the novel The Nerd Can Fight, namely verbal bullying, physical bullying, and mental or psychological bullying experienced by the main character, Cassandra; she can defend herself against it by avoiding conflict, not responding to the bullying, not caring, and being indifferent.This attitude arises because she has a role model, namely her brother, and the presence of her best friend, Adam, makes the main character, Cassandra, able to defend herself from bullying.

Abstract

The method of istinbath ahkam plays a strategic role as an Islamic legal approach in addressing the challenges of Islamic economics in the era of globalization. Positioned as an essential instrument, it enables the formulation of laws that are adaptive to modern economic dynamics while upholding the principles of maqashid al-shariah. This study employs a qualitative approach based on literature reviews of classical and contemporary sources. The findings show that istinbath ahkam can produce contextual and applicable legal solutions in line with global economic developments, including cross-border trade, sustainability, and market stability. These insights highlight the need to strengthen the istinbath ahkam methodology in Islamic economics so that legal rulings can serve as effective guidelines amid global complexities.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and describe the performance of services at the Biau Community Health Center in Buol Regency using five main indicators, namely work quality, initiative, ability, communication, and timeliness. This study uses a qualitative research approach with a descriptive method. Data were obtained through interviews, observations, and documentation, then analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing techniques. The results show that the performance of health services at the Biau Community Health Center in Buol Regency has generally been good, but there are still several aspects that need to be improved. In terms of work quality, health workers showed commitment to providing accurate and quality services. The initiative aspect showed the ability to adapt in emergency situations, although there is still room for improvement in terms of service innovation. The ability of health workers to carry out their duties was considered adequate, with fairly good time management support. Communication between health workers and patients as well as between staff has been effective, although there is still room for improvement in terms of providing more comprehensive information. The timeliness of services is generally in accordance with established standard operating procedures.
