Abstract

Information disclosure is a crucial element in Islamic banking governance, aimed at ensuring transparency, accountability, and the provision of relevant information to stakeholders. As the largest Islamic bank in Indonesia, Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) is obligated to implement information disclosure mechanisms in accordance with Islamic accounting standards, Financial Services Authority (OJK) regulations, and Sharia-based corporate governance principles. This study aims to analyze the information disclosure mechanisms implemented by BSI and their implications for public trust and institutional performance. The research employs a descriptive-analytical method with inductive reasoning. Data were obtained from various secondary sources, including scholarly journal articles, reference books, laws and regulations, Islamic accounting standards, and official reports from Bank Syariah Indonesia and relevant authorities. The results indicate that BSI’s disclosure mechanisms encompass aspects of Sharia compliance, Islamic social disclosure, and sustainability reporting. Effective implementation of disclosure is proven to enhance public trust, strengthen reputation, and support operational sustainability in accordance with Sharia principles.

Abstract

Digital Communication strategies employed by the Instagram platform @cegah.narkoba, an initiative under the Prevention and Community Empowerment Division of the National Narcotics Agency of East Java Province (BNNP Jawa Timur), in promoting public awareness of drug abuse prevention. Using a sociological perspective, this study analyzes how visual narratives, symbolic interaction, and audience engagement contribute to the construction of collective meanings related to anti-drug norms in digital spaces. Through qualitative content analysis, the research explores visual content, messaging strategies, and interactive features utilized on the platform. The findings indicate that @cegah.narkoba consistently employs persuasive visuals, symbolic elements, and interactive communication to effectively reach young audiences and reinforce preventive values. Additionally, collaborations with community organizations, educational institutions, and local influencers enhance message dissemination and strengthen campaign credibility. Overall, the study highlights Instagram’s role as a strategic social medium that not only disseminates information but also facilitates the internalization of anti-drug values through shared symbols and participatory engagement.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of the work environment, communication, and work-life balance on employee performance. In the context of globalization and intense business competition, employee performance is a key factor in determining organizational success. A good work environment, both physical and non-physical, plays a crucial role in enhancing employee motivation and job satisfaction. This research employs a quantitative method using convenience sampling and data collection through questionnaires. The analysis results indicate that a conducive work environment, effective communication, and a balance between work and personal life have a positive and significant impact on employee performance. A comfortable and supportive work environment, along with good interpersonal relationships, can boost employee morale and productivity. Additionally, a healthy work-life balance helps reduce stress and improve mental health, which in turn contributes to better performance. These findings provide insights for companies to create better work environments that not only enhance performance but also overall employee well-being. This research is expected to serve as a reference for organizations in designing more effective human resource management strategies.

Abstract

The Recapitulation Information System (SIREKAP) application was developed by the General Elections Commission (KPU) to support digital vote recapitulation. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the SIREKAP application in vote recapitulation in Karangwungulor Village, Laren District, Lamongan Regency. The study used a qualitative approach with descriptive methods through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results indicate that SIREKAP is quite effective in accelerating the delivery of recapitulation results and increasing information transparency. However, its effectiveness is not optimal due to internet network constraints, system instability, limited human resources, and data reading errors by the OCR system. Improvements in technical aspects, human resource capacity, and supporting infrastructure are needed for SIREKAP to function optimally, especially in rural areas.

Abstract

The values of Pancasila in daily life can foster good character and strengthen communal harmony. Indeed, Pancasila's values have proven effective in nurturing mutual respect, reinforcing a sense of unity, and cultivating the habit of deliberation in decision-making. The practical application of these values encourages the emergence of a just societal environment. On this occasion, we, Group 2 from the Pancasila Education course at Sunan Gunung Djati State Islamic University Bandung, carried out an assignment to actualize Pancasila values at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Perguruan Islam on October 28, 2025, with the material on "The Importance of Pancasila Values in Daily Life." To understand their significance more deeply, we focused on three main foundations that shape the nation's morality and identity: Belief in the One and Only God, a Just and Civilized Humanity, and the Unity of Indonesia. This involved raising awareness that actions such as helping parents, assisting friends, and praying before studying are part of applying these three points of Pancasila in everyday life.

Abstract

The status of witness testimony in Islamic marriage remains a subject of debate among scholars.This article comprehensively examines whether witness testimony is an absolute requirement or simply a supplementary element for the validity of the marriage contract. This jurisprudential analysis explores various scholarly opinions, their supporting arguments, and the practical legal implications. First, the article defines the concept of a witness in the context of Islamic marriage, drawing upon the Quran, Hadith, and prominent scholarly interpretations.  The analysis includes the capacity of witnesses, the requirements they must meet, and the distinctions between witnesses in marriage contracts and other legal contexts within Islamic law. Next, the article presents the prevailing scholarly view (jumhur) which stipulates the necessity of two male witnesses for a valid marriage. Their arguments are systematically outlined, based on Quranic verses and Hadith. Conversely, the article also explores the dissenting opinion of Abu Tsaur, who argues against the absolute necessity of witness testimony. Abu Tsaur's arguments are presented objectively, considering his interpretations of relevant religious texts. The article then analyzes the root causes of this scholarly disagreement, considering differing interpretations of Quranic verses and Hadith, variations in fiqh methodology, and socio-cultural contexts. Based on this comprehensive analysis, the article examines the legal implications of the various opinions, including their impact on the validity of marriage, court proceedings, and marriage practices within society.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the optimization of self photo studio in Jatim Informaton Technology Creative (JITC) Surabaya as part of an effort to increase Local Original Income (PAD) by utilizing less productive government assets. JITC was initially a facility provided by the government, more precisely by the Department of Industry and Trade and managed by the UPT for Development of Industrial Product Quality and Creative Technology as a place for start-ups to develop. This study uses qualitative research methods with analytical techniques and SWOT analysis approaches to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats in managing service branding. Although this service is fully supported by the government, this service is still lacking in its development, therefore this study recommends the need to strengthen the branding strategy at the JITC self photo studio is very necessary in order to develop and contribute to increasing East Java PAD.

Abstract

The Palang Pintu tradition is a Betawi wedding ceremonial procession with profound social and spiritual significance. This research aims to explore the integration of hadith values within this tradition through a qualitative approach utilizing field studies and literature review. The research was conducted in Jakarta through in-depth interviews with customary leaders and relevant literature studies. The findings reveal that the Palang Pintu tradition contains fundamental values from hadith teachings, including the concepts of deliberation, mutual respect, equality, and constructive dialogue in resolving social issues. These values are reflected in the dialogue mechanism between the bride and groom's entourages, which prioritizes ethics and civility. The research concludes that the Palang Pintu tradition possesses deep spiritual significance and can serve as a model for integrating local wisdom with Islamic principles.

Abstract

Aggressive behavior among students of Vocational High Schools (Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan/SMK) remains a common phenomenon and has the potential to disrupt the learning process as well as social relationships within the school environment. One psychological factor believed to be related to the emergence of aggressive behavior is emotional intelligence. This study aimed to examine the relationship between emotional intelligence and aggressive behavior among SMK students in the Bekasi City area. This research employed a quantitative approach with a correlational method. The research participants consisted of 96 SMK students aged 16–18 years who were selected using a purposive sampling technique. The research instruments were an emotional intelligence scale and an aggressive behavior scale, both of which met the criteria of validity and reliability. Data were analyzed using Kendall’s Tau B correlation test because the data were not normally distributed. The results showed a significant relationship between emotional intelligence and aggressive behavior, with a correlation coefficient of 0.299 (p < 0.001), indicating a positive relationship with low to moderate strength. The categorization results indicated that most students had a high level of emotional intelligence; however, at the same time, aggressive behavior was also predominantly in the high category. These findings suggest that emotional intelligence is related to aggressive behavior, but it is not the only factor influencing it. Therefore, a more comprehensive approach that considers environmental, social, and psychological factors is needed to reduce aggressive behavior among SMK students.

Abstract

The supremacy of the constitution is a fundamental principle of the rule of law, positioning the constitution as the highest legal norm within the constitutional system. However, in contemporary Indonesian constitutional practice, this principle faces significant challenges due to the dynamics of legal politics. This study aims to critically analyze the erosion of constitutional supremacy in Indonesia as a state governed by law and to examine contemporary legal-political practices that contribute to the weakening of the constitution’s authority. This research employs a normative juridical method with statutory, conceptual, and case approaches. Legal materials were collected through library research, including primary, secondary, and tertiary sources, and analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis. The findings indicate that the erosion of constitutional supremacy results from the dominance of political interests in law-making processes, weak compliance with Constitutional Court decisions, and the instrumentalization of law within political practices. These conditions undermine the function of the constitution as a limitation on state power and as a safeguard for citizens’ constitutional rights. This study concludes that strengthening constitutional supremacy requires a legal-political orientation grounded in constitutionalism, consistent adherence to Constitutional Court decisions, and the development of a strong constitutional culture among state institutions.
