Abstract

This article aims to discuss some important things about Pancasila, namely: 1. Pancasila as the nation's way of life, 2. The importance of Pancasila experience for the younger generation, and 3. The future of Pancasila in Indonesia. Pancasila is the basis of the state as well as the view of life of the Indonesian people which is a reference in various aspects of the life of society, nation and state. As an ideological foundation, Pancasila contains fundamental values that should be upheld by all Indonesian people, especially the younger generation who are the future successors of the nation. The practice of Pancasila values by the younger generation is very important in facing the challenges of globalization, modernization, and increasingly complex social changes. The younger generation has the responsibility to maintain and realize these values in everyday life, such as mutual cooperation, tolerance, justice, and love for the country. The sustainability of Pancasila in the future is highly dependent on the understanding and practice of its values by the community, especially in the midst of the rapid development of technology and information. By making Pancasila a guideline for life, Indonesia is expected to maintain national identity, strengthen unity, and realize the noble ideals of the nation. Therefore, sustainable efforts are needed, such as Pancasila-based character education, the spread of ideological awareness, and strengthening the role of the younger generation in maintaining the existence of Pancasila in the future .
