Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of seven elements of marketing mix (product, price, place, promotion, people, process and physical evidence) on customer satisfaction of GOJEK users. Data were collected from 90 customers residing in South Jakarta using self-reporting questionnaires. Factor analysis is used to validate the instrument and regression analysis was used to test the hypotheses. The results showed that although the elements of the marketing mix simultaneously significant effect on customer satisfaction, however partially, only the product have a significant effect on customer satisfaction (p-value 0.045). Based on these findings, the future research needs to re-examine the influence of marketing mix elements on customer satisfaction, in particular, transport mode users GOJEK by increasing the sample size and expanding the area of research so that research results can be generalized. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of interpersonal relations and work environment on job satisfaction of employees of the Supreme Court's Balitbang Secretariat of Education and Legal Training of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia (MA.RI). The method in this study uses quantitative, by distributing questionnaires to 50 employees. The analysis technique that the researcher uses in this study is a multiple linear regression analysis method. The results showed that interpersonal relationships and work environment had a close relationship seen from the R value of 0.588 or 58.8%. While the value of Adjusted R square is 0.318 or 31.8%. Changes in job satisfaction can be seen from interpersonal relationships and work environment, while the remaining 68.2% is due to other factors not examined in this study. Based on the results of the t test it is also known that interpersonal relationships and work environment partially have a positive and significant influence on job satisfaction. Abstract

This study examines the influence of corporate governance structure on audit qualification in Indonesian listed firms. Blockholder ownership, managerial ownership, board independency, audit commitee and board size are estimated to have relationship on probability of non-unqualified opinion issued by public accountant. This research also considers sales, profitability, leverage and liquidity as control variables.This study used data from financial reports of manufacturer companies listed in BEI during 2001-2010. Samples are obtained by purposive sampling judgement. Logistic regression analysis with matched pair design is purposed to test the research problems on 92 non-unqualified opinion companies and their 92 paired samples.The result of this study indicates that blockholder ownership, managerial ownership, board independency, audit commitee and board size do not have a significant impact on probability of given non-unqualified audit opinion. While sales, profitability and leverage have a significant impact on probability of given non-unqualified audit opinion.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of Corporate Environmental Performance on Financial Performance (CFP) with the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Disclosure as an intervening variable. Environmental performance is measured using the PROPER (Program Penilaian Peringkat Kinerja Lingkungan Perusahaan) of the Ministry of Environment, CFP measured using the Annual Return, CSR  measured using the GRI index. The population in this study is a manufacturing company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) and participated in PROPER in the year 2009-2011. The research sample is 107 companies, with purposive sampling method of data collection. Types of data used is secondary. Analysis tool used is regression analysis and sobel test. The analysis data technique and hypothesis testing using SPSS software. The results showed that the performance does not significantly positive effect on CFP, Environmental Performance significantly positive effect on CSR Disclosure and CSR Disclosure significantly positive effect on CFP. However, the test results showed that statistically influence the environmental performance indirectly to CFP through CSR Disclosure.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effect of corporate governance and firm characteristics on the level of strategic information disclosure. Elements of corporate governance that are used to test the level of strategic information disclosure consist of managerial ownership, institutional ownership, the number of commissioners, the proportion of independent commissioners, and the number of board meetings. Then, for the characteristics of firms using firm size, leverage, and profitability. Retrieval of data in this study using purposive sampling method in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) in the year 2009-2010. The samples of this study as many as 128 companies, and for the items strategic information disclosure take from research of Sanchez, Dominguez, and Alvarez (2010) which is about 8 items. The data of this study were tested using multiple regression analysis. The results show that managerial ownership, the proportion of independent commissioners, company size and profitability are significant and positive effect to strategic information disclosure. While institutional ownership and leverage significant and negative effect, then the number of commissioners and the number of board meetings did not effect to strategic information disclosure.

Abstract

Training on the Use of Environmentally Friendly Production Equipment in Efforts to Increase Income in MSME Restaurant Businesses at Metro Atom Pasar Baru, PD Pasar Jaya DKI Jakarta aims to provide training on the use of environmentally friendly production equipment to MSME restaurant business owners at Metro Atom Pasar Baru, PD Pasar Jaya DKI Jakarta. This activity focuses on efforts to increase income through implementing environmentally friendly practices in business operations. The training provided provides a better understanding of environmentally friendly production equipment and how to integrate it effectively in their daily activities. The adoption of environmentally friendly production equipment has resulted in cost efficiencies and reduced waste, which in turn increases business revenues. Thus, this training helps MSMEs increase their income while supporting environmental protection efforts. This research explores the impact of training in the use of environmentally friendly production equipment on the MSME restaurant business at Metro Atom Pasar Baru, PD Pasar Jaya DKI Jakarta. The results of the activity show that business owners are aware of the importance of environmental sustainability in their business operations but lack the knowledge and resources to implement it. Training provides a better understanding of environmentally friendly production equipment and its integration in daily activities. Implementation of environmentally friendly production equipment results in cost efficiencies and waste reduction, leading to increased business revenues. Thus, this training has the potential to help MSMEs increase their income while supporting environmental protection efforts.

Abstract

The Regional Government of Sleman Regency will build a PLTMH by utilizing the potential of hydropower in Girikerto village, which is one of the renewable energy sources. This research is based on the results of a feasibility study conducted by the author by conducting a field study to retrieve location data by paying attention to technical, economic and social, then a literature study and data analysis are carried out to determine the type of turbine and the most appropriate characteristics for the PLTMH at that location. From the results of the data analysis and by conducting careful calculations and taking into account the conditions of the PLTMH project location, the most appropriate turbine to be used is the turbine Cross Flow type. Besides having a simple construction, this turbine can also be designed for a large enough capacity and is easier to fabricate. Another result obtained is the value of the ratio of benefits to costs of 0.79 (less than 1). This means that the construction of this PLTMH is considered uneconomic, but with the power it can generate at 10.58 kW, it will certainly be able to illuminate and supply electricity (a huge benefit) for dozens of Girikerto villagers.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Kompensasi, Pengembangan Karir dan Beban Kerja terhadap Kinerja Karyawan pada PT. Kuat Andal Nan Gemilang. Dalam penelitian menggunakan data primer. Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan simple random sampling dengan menggunakan kriteria yang telah ditentukan, sampel terpilih dari sebanyak 60 karyawan. Teknik analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode analisis regresi linear berganda dan menggunakan aplikasi SPSS Versi 26.00. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompensasi berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan dan pengembangan karir berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Sedangkan beban kerja berpengaruh secara negatif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. nilai adjusted R-square sebesar 0,320, artinya besarnya koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,320. Hal ini menyatakan bahwa variabel independen dapat menjelaskan variabel dependen sebesar 32% dan sisanya 68% dipengaruhi oleh variabel independen lainnya diluar penelitian ini.

Abstract

Sumber daya manusia dalam organisasi sangatlah penting karena merupakan penggerak seluruh aktivitas atau aktivitas dalam mencapai tujuan organisasi dan untuk menjaga kelangsungan hidup organisasi. Berhasil atau tidaknya suatu organisasi dalam mempertahankan eksistensi organisasi diawali dari pengelolaan sumber daya manusia khususnya upaya peningkatan efektifitas dan efisiensi kerja pegawai. Kinerja maksimal terwujud ketika organisasi dapat mengarahkan dan mengembangkan potensi dan kemampuan yang dimiliki pegawai sehingga pegawai mampu bekerja secara maksimal. Motivasi dan disiplin sangat erat kaitannya dengan kinerja pegawai. Motivasi dan kedisiplinan yang dirasakan secara langsung oleh pegawai dapat menurunkan kinerja atau meningkatkan kinerja pegawai. Pegawai yang merasa termotivasi dan disiplin terhadap pekerjaannya akan berdampak pada peningkatan kinerja suatu organisasi secara keseluruhan.
