Abstract

This study examines the impact of organizational culture and compensation on employee performance at PT XYZ. A strong organizational culture and fair compensation system are recognized as key drivers for enhancing employee performance and overall company productivity. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected via questionnaires distributed to 50 respondents, and multiple linear regression analysis was employed to explore the effects of these variables. The analysis reveals that organizational culture has a significant partial effect on employee performance, supporting the acceptance of the alternative hypothesis. Conversely, compensation does not exhibit a significant partial effect, leading to the acceptance of the null hypothesis. However, when analyzed simultaneously, organizational culture and compensation collectively have a significant effect on employee performance. The coefficient of determination shows that just over half of the variation in employee performance is explained by organizational culture and compensation, while the remainder is influenced by other factors not examined in this study. The findings suggest that enhancing a positive organizational culture should be prioritized as a primary strategy for improving employee performance at PT XYZ, as it plays a more critical role than compensation in driving results.

Abstract

This study explores business behavior in applying marketing mathematics in the context of conventional and online businesses. The main distinction between these types of businesses lies in their promotional strategies, packaging adjustments, and methods of identifying customer numbers. This applied qualitative research employs observational data on business behavior and literature studies to support deductive reasoning for formulating decision-making theories. The analysis reveals the influence of business behavior in applying marketing mathematics, including: (1) identifying customer needs in conventional and online contexts, (2) utilizing graphs for decision-making, (3) adjusting packaging sizes to meet consumer needs, and (4) synchronizing marketing and production mathematics. Accurate estimations in this synchronization process significantly impact work instructions. These instructions detail real-time steps in the marketing phase, which subsequently guide production. This ensures minimal discrepancies between inventory inflows (production) and outflows (sales), reducing stockpiling and optimizing working capital, particularly for food and beverage entrepreneurs. Unlike artificial intelligence (AI), effective work instructions remain a critical business strategy, incorporating Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats analysis across divisions. The unique interrelation between production and marketing divisions highlights the irreplaceable human element in crafting responsive strategies, making this process essential for achieving business efficiency and reducing operational waste.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Net Profit Margin, Return on Assets, and Earnings Per Share on stock prices at PT HM Sampoerna Tbk, both partially and simultaneously. The independent variables in this study are Net Profit Margin, Return on Assets, and Earnings Per Share, while the dependent variable is stock price. The research uses a descriptive method with quantitative data, and the data source is secondary data. The population of this study includes financial statements from PT HM Sampoerna Tbk. The sample was determined using financial statements, including income statements and balance sheets, from the period under review. The analytical method applied is multiple linear regression analysis, with data analysis conducted using the SPSS software application. The results of the study indicate that, partially, Net Profit Margin does not have a significant effect on stock prices, as the statistical analysis shows the t-value is below the critical value, and the significance level exceeds the acceptable threshold. Similarly, Return on Assets does not have a significant impact, as its t-value is below the critical value, and the significance level is greater than the threshold. For Earnings Per Share, the analysis also shows no significant effect, as the t-value is lower than the critical value, and the significance level is above the threshold. Simultaneously, Net Profit Margin, Return on Assets, and Earnings Per Share collectively do not have a significant effect on stock prices, as the F-value is below the critical value, and the significance level exceeds the threshold.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of employee branding and corporate reputation on the intention to apply among Generation Z students (a case study of Management Program students at Universitas Pamulang), both partially and simultaneously. The research method used is quantitative with an associative quantitative approach. The population consists of a group of individuals, and data collection is carried out using questionnaires. The data analysis techniques include validity testing, reliability testing, classical assumption testing, multiple linear regression analysis, correlation coefficient analysis, determination coefficient analysis, and hypothesis testing, supported by the Statistical Product and Service Solutions (SPSS) program. The results show that employee branding significantly influences the intention to apply. This is evidenced by the statistical analysis, which demonstrates a strong relationship and a substantial contribution of employee branding to the intention to apply. Similarly, corporate reputation also significantly affects the intention to apply, supported by strong statistical relationships and a meaningful contribution. Simultaneously, employee branding and corporate reputation have a significant effect on the intention to apply. This conclusion is supported by the results of hypothesis testing, showing a very strong relationship and a considerable contribution of these factors to the intention to apply. The study concludes with a regression equation demonstrating the relationship between the variables

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Debt to Assets Ratio (DAR) and Return on Equity (ROE) on the Share Price of PT Ristia Bintang Mahkotasejati Tbk for the period under review. A quantitative descriptive method is used in this research. The results of the partial t-test analysis indicate that DAR does not significantly affect the Share Price, as the significance value exceeds the threshold, and the calculated t-value is below the critical value. Conversely, ROE has a significant partial effect on the Share Price, as evidenced by a significance value below the threshold and a calculated t-value exceeding the critical value. The simultaneous test results show that DAR and ROE together have a significant effect on the Share Price, supported by a significance value below the acceptable threshold and a calculated F-value exceeding the critical value. The coefficient of determination indicates that the combined influence of DAR and ROE explains approximately half of the variability in the Share Price, while the remaining portion is influenced by other variables not included in the study. This highlights the importance of these financial ratios in determining stock performance while acknowledging the impact of external factors.

Abstract

This research analyzes the illocutionary acts of Adam Clay, the protagonist in The Beekeeper (2024), through the lens of John Searle’s Speech Act Theory. The objective is to explore how these acts contribute to character development and thematic elements of justice, revenge, and morality. Utilizing a qualitative content analysis methodology, dialogues from critical scenes were transcribed and categorized into Searle’s classifications: assertives, directives, commissives, expressives, and declaratives. The findings reveal a predominance of assertive acts (30 occurrences, 30%), followed by directives (25 instances, 25%), commissives (20 instances, 20%), expressives (15 instances, 15%), and declaratives (10 instances, 10%). This distribution underscores Clay’s assertive control and emotional complexity, enhancing the film's thematic richness. In conclusion, the study highlights the pivotal role of language as a narrative device in The Beekeeper, demonstrating how illocutionary acts encapsulate the protagonist's motivations and ethical dilemmas. This research contributes to the understanding of pragmatic analysis in cinematic contexts and sets a foundation for future investigations into the interplay between language and character development in film.
