Abstract

This study investigates the relationship between waiting time for health services and patient satisfaction in the outpatient department of a hospital in East Jakarta. Patient satisfaction is considered an essential indicator of service quality and overall performance in health care institutions. Excessive waiting time often becomes one of the main complaints from patients and can negatively influence their perception of the quality of care received. Using a cross-sectional design with a quantitative approach, the research examines whether prolonged waiting time is associated with decreased satisfaction among patients receiving outpatient services. Data were collected through structured questionnaires and analyzed to identify the strength and direction of the relationship. The findings indicate that waiting time plays a significant role in shaping patient satisfaction, suggesting that efforts to minimize delays are crucial for improving health care delivery, enhancing patient experience, and strengthening institutional credibility.

Abstract

Work discipline is essential to sustain nursing productivity and hospital performance. This study examines the association between work discipline and nurses’ work productivity in inpatient care at a private hospital in Jakarta. A cross-sectional design was applied with total sampling of staff nurses. Data were collected using validated Likert-type questionnaires for discipline and productivity, then categorized into high and low levels based on central tendency. Bivariate analysis employed an appropriate chi-square procedure and effect size to test the relationship. The findings indicate a meaningful positive association: nurses with higher discipline tend to report higher productivity, reflected in punctual attendance, adherence to standard procedures, and complete documentation of care. The study recommends strengthening managerial supervision, feedback loops, and fair scheduling, alongside continuous education on standard operating procedures. Enhancing discipline culture is expected to raise individual productivity and contribute to better service quality and organizational outcomes in Indonesian hospital settings over time.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of financial accounting implementation on the operational efficiency of the Ninja Express warehouse in Solo City. In the highly competitive logistics industry, operational efficiency is a key factor in improving service quality, delivery speed, and customer satisfaction. Proper implementation of financial accounting is expected to provide accurate, relevant, and timely information that can assist management in planning, controlling, and evaluating warehouse operational activities. The research method employed is a quantitative approach with data collection techniques including questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. Respondents consist of finance staff, operational managers, and warehouse employees. The observed variables include transaction recording systems, financial reporting, and internal control mechanisms. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of financial accounting has a significant positive effect on the operational efficiency of Ninja Express warehouses. A well-structured accounting system reduces the risk of recording errors, minimizes cost inefficiencies, accelerates information flow, and improves the accuracy of planning and performance evaluation. These findings confirm that financial accounting does not only function as a recording tool but also serves as a strategic instrument in supporting the sustainability and competitiveness of logistics companies, particularly amidst the growing demand for delivery services. Furthermore, this research highlights the importance of integrating financial accounting with digital systems and warehouse management technology. The synergy between accounting practices and digital platforms can optimize resource utilization, strengthen decision-making processes, and enhance overall organizational performance. This suggests that companies in the logistics sector should continuously adapt their accounting systems to technological developments in order to maintain efficiency and remain competitive in a dynamic business environment.

Abstract

This study examines the phenomenon of hyperreality in flexing culture in mass communication, particularly through social media. Flexing culture, as the behavior of excessively flaunting lifestyle and luxury on digital platforms, represents hyperreality in which images and simulations replace factual reality. This study aims to understand how mass media shapes public perception through the construction of manipulative virtual images, as well as its impact on individual psychology and social structures. The research method uses a qualitative approach with content analysis on popular social media and in-depth interviews with flexing actors and their audiences. This study integrates Jean Baudrillard's theory of hyperreality with contemporary studies of flexing behavior on social media platforms as an arena of modern mass communication. The results show that hyperreality in flexing culture creates social pressure and the need for validation that impacts consumer behavior and social identity in the digital era. The implications of this research open a critical discourse on the role of mass media in producing new, simulative social realities.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the government's strategy to encourage tax compliance among Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) through the use of digitalization. The research background is based on the low level of tax compliance among MSMEs, which is influenced by limited understanding of regulations, complex administrative processes, and limited access to information. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach, through literature review, policy analysis, and secondary data from official publications related to MSME taxation and the digitalization of public services. The results show that the government's tax digitalization strategy, through various services such as e-Filing, e-Billing, e-Registration, and MSME-specific applications, has proven effective in providing convenience, efficiency, and transparency in tax reporting and payment. However, its implementation still faces challenges such as the digital literacy gap, limited technological infrastructure in certain regions, low tax and financial literacy, difficulties adapting to new systems, as well as data security issues and resistance from some MSMEs. Therefore, the success of this strategy depends heavily on the synergy between technology enhancement, ongoing education, data protection, and a persuasive approach to build taxpayer awareness and trust.

Abstract

Song as a medium of communication not only conveys messages in an aesthetic manner but is also rich in profound meanings that can be analyzed through a semiotic approach. This study aims to reveal the motivational meanings contained in the lyrics of Manusia Kuat by Tulus using Ferdinand de Saussure’s semiotic framework. This approach examines signs through two main elements, namely the signifier and the signified, in order to uncover the relational meaning within the structure of the lyrics. The findings indicate that the song embodies strong motivational messages, such as perseverance, resilience, and confidence in human strength when facing life’s challenges. Lyrics such as “kita ini manusia kuat” and “kamu bukan debu yang diam” represent symbols of spirit and self-empowerment. In conclusion, through its linguistic symbols and connotative meanings, Manusia Kuat successfully articulates motivation that inspires listeners to become resilient and optimistic individuals.

Abstract

This study investigates the relationship between profitability, leverage, firm size, and liquidity with stock price performance in the Indonesian pharmaceutical and healthcare research subsector. The research is motivated by the dynamic developments in capital markets where investors increasingly seek evidence of how fundamental indicators shape valuation. Using panel data regression, the analysis reveals that profitability, leverage, and liquidity do not exert a significant influence on stock prices, while firm size demonstrates a significant negative effect. This finding indicates that large companies in the subsector may face structural challenges and operational complexities that reduce investor confidence, despite the general expectation of scale advantages. The results emphasize that market participants consider qualitative aspects such as efficiency and adaptability more than sheer size. The study provides managerial implications for companies to strengthen efficiency and strategic focus, while offering guidance for investors in evaluating firm characteristics beyond conventional indicators

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of product variety, service quality, and price on purchasing decisions among customers of MINISO Central Park. The research employs a quantitative causal design with data collected through a structured questionnaire distributed to customers. The analysis was conducted using multiple regression to evaluate the validity, reliability, and statistical significance of the proposed relationships. The findings reveal that service quality and price significantly influence purchasing decisions, while product variety shows no substantial impact. The results suggest that customers place greater emphasis on the affordability of products and the quality of service they experience, rather than the diversity of product assortment. This highlights the importance of focusing on value creation and service excellence to strengthen consumer decision-making. The study contributes to marketing literature by providing evidence from a retail context and offers managerial implications for enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Abstract

This study examines how product quality, price, and service quality shape customer loyalty in a café setting in BSD City. Grounded in relationship marketing and service quality theory, the research applies a quantitative, cross-sectional design using a structured questionnaire administered to café patrons. Reliability and validity were confirmed prior to estimating the model with multiple regression. Results show that product quality, price fairness, and service excellence each exert positive and significant influences on loyalty. Consistent taste and presentation, transparent pricing, and responsive, empathetic interactions strengthen repeat patronage and willingness to recommend. The study contributes by integrating product, price, and service drivers into a unified loyalty framework for an urban developing market. Managerially, owners should standardize product specifications, communicate clear price policies, and train frontline staff to deliver timely, courteous, and personalized service, thereby building durable loyalty and sustaining competitive advantage in a crowded café landscape, and foster positive word-of-mouth advocacy.
