Abstract

Perguruan tinggi merupakan kelanjutan dari Pendidikan dasar dan menengah yang diselenggarakan untuk mempersiapkan peserta didik untuk menjadi masyarakat yang memiliki kemampuan akademis dan professional yang dapat menerapkan, mengembangkan dan menciptakan ilmu pengetahuan, teknologi dan budaya. Kehadiran sebuah kampus di suatu daerah tidak hanya berpengaruh pada aspek pendidikan, tetapi juga dapat memberikan dampak yang signifikan terhadap lingkungan sekitarnya. Dalam konteks ini, penelitian ini diinisiasi dengan tujuan untuk mengevaluasi dampak yang ditimbulkan oleh keberadaan kampus terhadap lingkungan fisik, sosial, dan ekonomi di sekitarnya. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk merumuskan berbagai strategi dan pendekatan yang dapat digunakan untuk mengatasi dampak negatif yang mungkin muncul akibat keberadaan kampus tersebut. Penelitian ini didasarkan pada hasil survei yang dilakukan di area sekitar kampus Universitas Baliem, yang diharapkan dapat memberikan gambaran yang lebih jelas mengenai interaksi antara kampus dan komunitas di sekitarnya, serta implikasi dari interaksi tersebut. Berdasarkan studi yang telah dilaksanakan, maka pada penelitian ini dapat ditarik kesimpulan limbah padat (sampah) yang dipekirakan akan dihasilkan ketika Kampus telah beroperasi. Perhitungan prakiraan timbulan sampah pada tahap konstrusi dan tahap operasional diperoleh: Total timbulan sampah tahap konstruksi yaitu 275 L/hari (0,275 m3/hari); Timbulan sampah pada tahap operasional yaitu diperoleh total timbulan sampah organik 9,5 L/hari (0,0095 m3/hari) sehingga total timbulan sampah anorganik adalah 2,4 L/hari atau 0,0024 m3/hari).

Abstract

The increasing global challenges of waste accumulation, energy transition, and climate resilience have positioned Waste-to-Energy (WtE) systems as an important pathway for sustainable resource recovery. However, the complexity and uncertainty of WtE processes require advanced modeling approaches capable of capturing nonlinear relationships and improving predictive accuracy. Machine Learning (ML) has emerged as a promising tool for optimizing WtE operations; however, existing studies remain fragmented and are largely focused on technical performance rather than broader conceptual, methodological, and sustainability dimensions. This study aims to systematically examine the development, trends, methodological characteristics, and research gaps in ML applications for WtE systems. A Systematic Literature Review (SLR) was conducted using the PRISMA framework by analyzing relevant publications indexed in Scopus from 2020 to 2025. From the initial search results, 42 studies were selected for qualitative thematic analysis using structured coding to identify technological domains, geographic patterns, theoretical foundations, and methodological approaches. The findings indicate that ML applications in WtE are predominantly focused on optimization, prediction, gasification, and energy recovery modeling. However, the field remains characterized by geographical concentration, limited theoretical integration, insufficient interdisciplinary perspectives, and inconsistent consideration of governance, policy, and socio-environmental factors. The review highlights that future ML-based WtE research should incorporate stronger theoretical frameworks, improve data diversity, enhance model transparency, and integrate sustainability-oriented assessments. In conclusion, ML provides significant opportunities for advancing WtE systems; however, its transformative potential depends on moving beyond algorithmic accuracy toward holistic, equitable, and context-sensitive sustainability solutions.

Abstract

Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy (DPN) is a common chronic complication of diabetes mellitus that can reduce quality of life and increase the risk of ulcers and amputation if not detected early. Limited access to clinical screening tools highlights the need for accessible preventive risk assessment systems, while existing machine learning approaches have primarily focused on improving predictive performance with limited attention to model interpretability and practical deployment in real-world clinical settings. This study proposes an explainable weighted ensemble XGBoost model integrated into an Android-based mobile application for early DPN risk prediction using the Diabetes 130-US Hospitals dataset. The proposed framework employs Hyperopt to optimize three complementary XGBoost models, whose predictions are combined through validation-based weighted averaging according to their R² performance. The proposed model achieved strong predictive performance, with an RMSE of 0.0189, MAE of 0.0122, MAPE of 7.5234%, and R² of 0.7269. SHAP analysis identified key risk factors, including insulin usage, Body Mass Index (BMI), and HbA1c levels, highlighting the importance of metabolic control in DPN progression. The trained model was deployed in an Android application using ONNX Runtime to enable offline prediction. User Acceptance Testing demonstrated a satisfaction rate of 90.56%, indicating good usability. The results demonstrate that the proposed system provides an interpretable and practical decision-support tool for early DPN risk assessment while improving the accessibility of mobile-based screening solutions.

Abstract

Pembangunan infrastruktur irigasi sawah memiliki peran penting dalam mendukung ketahanan pangan nasional. Namun, pelaksanaan proyek irigasi sering menghadapi permasalahan berupa pembengkakan biaya, waktu pelaksanaan yang panjang , Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis optimalisasi biaya, waktu tanpa mengurangi mutu pada perencanaan bangunan irigasi sawah menggunakan pendekatan Value Engineering (VE) di Kecamatan Tanjung Morawa, Kabupaten Deli Serdang. Penelitian dilakukan dengan mengevaluasi beberapa alternatif struktur saluran sekunder, yaitu beton bertulang, pasangan batu kali, dan U-Ditch precast. Metode penelitian menggunakan tahapan Value Engineering meliputi tahap informasi, analisis fungsi, kreativitas, evaluasi, dan rekomendasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa alternatif beton bertulang 60×40 cm menghasilkan penghematan biaya terbesar sebesar 50,09%, sedangkan alternatif U-Ditch precast 60×40 memberikan percepatan waktu pelaksanaan terbaik sebesar 65,52% dibandingkan perencanaan awal. Alternatif U-Ditch precast dipilih sebagai alternatif paling optimal karena mampu memberikan keseimbangan antara efisiensi biaya, percepatan waktu pelaksanaan, dan pemenuhan mutu teknis. Penggunaan sistem pracetak juga dinilai lebih efektif dalam mendukung keberlanjutan distribusi air irigasi sehingga tidak mengganggu masa tanam petani. Penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa penerapan Value Engineering pada tahap perencanaan mampu menghasilkan alternatif desain yang lebih efisien dan mendukung pembangunan infrastruktur pertanian.

Abstract

Konfigurasi koridor pada rusunawa berventilasi alami memiliki pola hubungan yang berbeda dengan kondisi termal unit indoor. Penelitian ini mengevaluasi hubungan korelasional antara kondisi termal koridor agregat dengan kondisi unit indoor, meliputi suhu udara, kelembaban relatif, dan kecepatan angin,  pada tiga rusunawa di Surabaya. Ketiga objek mewakili konfigurasi koridor single-loaded (Urip Sumoharjo), double-loaded (Keputih), dan twin-block indoor (Penjaringan Sari 3). Pengukuran lapangan dilakukan secara simultan pada zona outdoor, koridor, dan indoor pada 7 unit dalam empat sesi harian selama tiga hari per lokasi. Pengukuran difokuskan pada lantai 3 untuk menjaga kesetaraan komparatif antar tipologi. Sebelum analisis korelasi, dilakukan uji prasyarat berupa uji normalitas Shapiro-Wilk dan uji linieritas. Analisis korelasi Pearson (r) digunakan untuk membaca arah dan kekuatan hubungan antara kondisi koridor dan kondisi indoor. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa koridor single-loaded memiliki hubungan kelembaban paling kuat dan paling konsisten dengan unit indoor (r= 0,851 sampai 0,954) serta hubungan suhu udara kuat pada unit berorientasi timur (r = 0,848). Koridor twin-block menunjukkan korelasi suhu udara outdoor-koridor tertinggi (r= 0,714) dengan hubungan koridor agregat-unit sedang hingga kuat (r = 0,557 sampai 0,775). Koridor double-loaded menunjukkan hubungan suhu udara koridor agregat-unit paling lemah (r = 0,008 sampai 0,369). Korelasi kecepatan angin koridor agregat-unit mendekati nol pada semua tipologi (r = -0,189 sampai 0,135), sehingga kecepatan angin koridor tidak dapat digunakan untuk memprediksi langsung kecepatan angin unit indoor. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa konfigurasi koridor berkaitan dengan kondisi termal unit secara berbeda pada setiap parameter, tetapi analisis agregat belum memisahkan kedekatan spasial antara titik koridor dan unit tertentu.

Abstract

The construction of the Malaka Regency Regent's Office has encountered significant challenges, including recurring project delays caused by factors such as design changes, unpredictable weather conditions, labor shortages, and insufficient materials or equipment. These issues have resulted in inefficiencies in project scheduling and cost management, highlighting the need for effective project management strategies. This study aims to analyze the project schedule, identify the critical path, and evaluate schedule acceleration alternatives for the Malaka Regent's Office construction project using the Critical Path Method (CPM) and the Time–Cost Trade-Off (TCTO) method. The study applied the Critical Path Method (CPM) and the Time–Cost Trade-Off (TCTO) method to analyze the project schedule, identify critical activities, and evaluate feasible acceleration strategies. The analysis showed that the originally planned project duration of 224 calendar days could be reduced to 196 calendar days using the CPM approach, while the TCTO method further shortened the project duration to 182 calendar days. This acceleration was achieved by minimizing idle time between critical activities, optimizing resource allocation, and implementing time–cost trade-off strategies without compromising the project's quality or scope. The findings demonstrate the effectiveness of CPM and TCTO in optimizing construction schedules and reducing project delays. Furthermore, this study provides a practical framework for improving schedule and cost performance in construction projects, particularly those involving public infrastructure development.

Abstract

The Kayan River Basin (Wilayah Sungai [WS]) covers an area of 3,178,215.72 hectares, making it one of the largest river basins in Kalimantan. However, compared with other river basins in the region, the Kayan WS currently has only seven rainfall stations, of which six are operational and one is damaged or inactive. This limited observation network is insufficient to represent the highly heterogeneous spatial distribution of rainfall across the basin, which extends from mountainous upstream areas with high precipitation to lowland coastal regions. Therefore, this study aims to determine the most appropriate rationalization method for identifying the optimal number and spatial distribution of rainfall stations capable of adequately representing rainfall variability within the Kayan River Basin. Three approaches were evaluated for rainfall station rationalization: the maximum requirement method, the minimum requirement method, and the Kagan–Rodda method. The results indicate that the Kagan–Rodda method is the most suitable approach for rationalizing the rainfall station network in the Kayan WS. Based on this method, the basin requires a total of 33 rainfall stations. Given that only six operational stations currently exist, an additional 27 rainfall stations are required to establish an optimal monitoring network.

Abstract

Proses telusur benda uji pada proyek konstruksi, mencakup pencatatan bahan masuk, benda uji, hasil pengujian, hingga pengecoran, masih banyak dilakukan secara manual menggunakan formulir kertas, sehingga rentan terhadap duplikasi data, kesalahan pencatatan, sulitnya penelusuran riwayat dokumen, dan lambatnya pelaporan. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang dan mengimplementasikan aplikasi web telusur benda uji proyek konstruksi yang mendigitalisasi seluruh tahapan pencatatan secara terintegrasi. Pengembangan sistem menggunakan metode prototyping yang terdiri atas empat tahap: pengumpulan kebutuhan, perancangan prototipe, evaluasi prototipe oleh pengguna secara iteratif, serta implementasi dan pengujian akhir. Aplikasi dibangun menggunakan Vue.js dengan Nuxt.js untuk server-side rendering (SSR), Node.js dan Express.js sebagai API, MongoDB untuk penyimpanan data, serta JSON Web Token (JWT) untuk autentikasi dan otorisasi berbasis peran. Pengujian fungsional dengan black box testing teknik equivalence partitioning pada modul-modul utama menunjukkan bahwa seluruh 13 skenario pengujian (100%) menghasilkan hasil yang sesuai harapan. Aplikasi berhasil mendigitalisasi proses telusur bahan masuk, benda uji, hasil tes, dan pengecoran ke dalam satu sistem terpadu dengan fitur ekspor dan cetak PDF serta pengelolaan hak akses bertingkat antara Super Admin dan Admin. Penelitian ini diharapkan menjadi referensi penerapan metode prototyping dan kombinasi teknologi Nuxt.js-MongoDB pada pengembangan sistem informasi penelusuran proyek konstruksi sejenis.

Abstract

The construction of satellite-based Base Transceiver Stations (BTSs) in Indonesia's frontier, outermost, and disadvantaged (3T; terdepan, terluar, dan tertinggal) regions represents one of the government's key strategies for expanding internet connectivity. This study aims to analyze the impacts of satellite-based BTS implementation on education, the economy, public services, and social change. The study employed a qualitative case study approach using interviews, observations, and document analysis. The findings indicate that the deployment of satellite-based BTSs has had positive impacts, including improved access to digital education, healthcare services, communication, and online business opportunities. However, several challenges were also identified, including limited digital literacy, the spread of misinformation (hoaxes), increasing dependence on the internet, and changes in patterns of community social interaction. The findings demonstrate that the success of satellite-based BTS deployment in 3T regions depends not only on the availability of digital infrastructure but also on communities' readiness to use technology responsibly and effectively. The study further suggests that sustainable digital transformation in 3T regions requires simultaneous investment in digital literacy programs alongside physical infrastructure. Without such complementary initiatives, improved connectivity may inadvertently amplify social vulnerabilities, including exposure to misinformation and digital fraud, thereby widening rather than narrowing the digital divide. These findings underscore the need for policymakers to integrate community-based digital literacy initiatives, multi-stakeholder collaboration, and adaptive regulatory frameworks into Universal Service Obligation (USO) strategies to ensure that infrastructure investments produce equitable, inclusive, and resilient development outcomes.

Abstract

Proses penilaian jawaban esai secara manual memiliki berbagai keterbatasan, seperti subjektivitas penilai, waktu evaluasi yang lama, serta ketidakkonsistenan dalam pemberian skor. Perkembangan Natural Language Processing (NLP) memungkinkan pengembangan sistem penilaian esai otomatis (Automated Essay Scoring) yang mampu memahami karakteristik semantik dan linguistik dari suatu jawaban. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model NLP dalam melakukan klasifikasi relevansi jawaban esai otomatis menggunakan kombinasi Sentence-Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers (SBERT) dan Stanza. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode research and development (R&D). Dataset yang digunakan berasal dari UKARA 1.0 Challenge dengan jumlah 2.861 data jawaban esai berbahasa Indonesia. Tahapan penelitian meliputi preprocessing, ekstraksi fitur semantik menggunakan SBERT, ekstraksi fitur linguistik menggunakan Stanza, ekstraksi fitur mekanik berdasarkan kesalahan ejaan, serta pembangunan model menggunakan algoritma Multi-Layer Perceptron (MLP). Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa model mampu mencapai akurasi sebesar 0,66 dengan nilai F1-score kelas relevan sebesar 0,76. Namun, model mengalami keterbatasan dalam mengenali jawaban tidak relevan dengan nilai recall kelas negatif sebesar 0,34 akibat dominasi fitur semantik. Eksperimen variasi hyperparameter menunjukkan bahwa perubahan arsitektur tidak memberikan peningkatan signifikan terhadap performa model. Kesimpulannya, kombinasi SBERT dan Stanza mampu mendukung sistem penilaian esai otomatis, tetapi diperlukan strategi mitigasi bias semantik dan pengembangan fitur tambahan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan klasifikasi
