Abstract

This research aims to prove that the simplicity in the poem "Aku Ingin" by Sapardi Djoko Damono is not just an aesthetic choice, but an artistic strategy that is consciously and systematically designed. The study was conducted using the Russian Formalism approach which places the internal structure of the text as the center of the analysis, regardless of the biographical or social context of the author. With qualitative descriptive methods and close reading techniques, this study identifies the way formal devices work including repetition, defamiliarization, natural metaphors, typography, diction, and stanza symmetry in building poetry literariness. The results of the analysis show that simplicity is built through a number of devices that support each other: the repetition of the phrase "I want to love you simply" as the dominant device that creates parallel rhythms and binds the structure between verses; defamiliarization through the metaphors of "wood to fire" and "cloud to rain" that present love from a new point of view; as well as lowercase typography and the absence of punctuation that reinforce the subtle and contemplative impression. This organized structural simplicity is the dominant element that drives the entire aesthetic system of poetry. This research confirms that Russian Formalism is able to uncover how simplicity works not as a limitation, but as an artistic force that produces a profound aesthetic experience.

Abstract

Digital transformation has become a global phenomenon that fundamentally changes the governance of educational institutions, iluding Islamic educational institutions. The digital campus era requires educational institutions to integrate information technology into management, learning, and academic service systems effectively and sustainably. Although prior research has extensively examined the technological and pedagogical dimensions of educational digitalization, the comprehensive institutional management dimension—particularly how Islamic educational institutions manage the risks, human resource capacity, and value preservation associated with digital transformation—remains underexplored; this gap constitutes the central rationale of the present study. This research aims to analyze the dynamics of the management of Islamic educational institutions in facing digital transformation, especially related to the risk of change, strengthening the capacity of human resources, technological integration, and the preservation of Islamic values in the digital education system. This study uses a qualitative approach with a library research method, examining recent scholarly literature on Islamic education management and education digitalization published between 2019 and 2025. The findings indicate that the success of digital transformation is determined not solely by the availability of technology, but by four interrelated factors: managerial readiness, transformational leadership, organizational culture, and institutions’ capacity to balance technological innovation with spiritual and moral values. Specifically, this study identifies persistent gaps in digital literacy among educators, limited technological infrastructure in regional institutions, and resistance to organizational change as the primary risks confronting digital transformation in Islamic educational institutions. Well-managed digital transformation is shown to improve administrative efficiency, expand access to education, and strengthen the competitiveness of Islamic educational institutions at the national and global levels. This study contributes a conceptual foundation for developing an adaptive, integrative, and value-oriented management model for digital-based Islamic educational institutions, offering both theoretical insight and practical guidance for institutional leaders navigating the digital campus era.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the importance of the principal's role in improving the quality of learning through the implementation of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) strategy in the IPAS subject at elementary school. describing the implementation of CTL, The purpose of this study was to describe the principal's role, and the supporting and inhibiting factors in its implementation at SDI Dantar. This study used a qualitative descriptive method. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis employed the Miles and Huberman model, namely data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study showed that: (1) the principal played roles as educator, manager, supervisor, motivator, and facilitator through academic supervision, motivation, provision of facilities, and teacher professional development; (2) the implementation of CTL was carried out by connecting learning materials with real-life situations, group discussions, question-and-answer activities, environmental observations, and reflection; (3) supporting factors included the principal's support, teacher cooperation, a conducive school environment, and students' enthusiasm, while inhibiting factors included limited facilities, teachers' lack of understanding, limited time, and differences in students' abilities. It can be concluded that the principal's role is very important in encouraging the successful implementation of CTL so that learning becomes more active, meaningful, and in accordance with students' needs.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the continued use of standard clauses in parking tickets stating that the parking operator is not responsible for the loss of vehicles. Such clauses raise legal issues because they potentially transfer the responsibility of business actors to consumers and contradict the principles of consumer protection. This study aims to analyze the regulation of exoneration clauses in parking tickets based on Article 18 of Law Number 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection and to examine the legal consequences of including such clauses. This research employs a normative juridical method using statutory, conceptual, and case approaches. The data were obtained through library research and supported by interview results. The findings indicate that clauses stating that vehicle loss is not the responsibility of the parking operator are contrary to Article 18 paragraph (1) letter a of the Consumer Protection Law because they contain elements of transferring the responsibility of business actors to consumers. Based on the Supreme Court Decision Number 3416 K/Pdt/1995, the legal relationship between parking operators and consumers constitutes a bailment relationship, thereby requiring parking operators to remain responsible for vehicles under their control. Consequently, such clauses are null and void and have no binding legal force upon consumers.

Abstract

The rapid growth of the halal industry and rising religious awareness among Muslim consumers have pushed companies to move beyond purely commercial marketing toward strategies that also address consumers’ spiritual values, known as Religious Marketing Communication. Although prior studies confirm that religiosity shapes halal purchase intention and consumer trust, none have specifically examined how religious values are operationalized within brand activation strategies for Islamic and halal products, particularly in Indonesia. This study analyzes the concept of Religious Marketing Communication, examines its relevance to brand activation in Islamic and halal products, and describes its implementation strategies. A qualitative library research method was used, analyzing secondary data from books and journal articles through content analysis. Findings show that effective brand activation depends on authentic, ethical communication aligned with sharia principles, supported by storytelling, community empowerment, responsible digital engagement, and consistency between brand messages and business practices; religiosity also influences purchasing decisions, trust, message effectiveness, and loyalty, while inauthentic use of religious symbols risks consumer backlash. These findings contribute theoretically to marketing communication literature and offer practical guidance for marketers and halal industry regulators. In conclusion, Religious Marketing Communication is a strategic approach for building authentic, long-term brand-consumer relationships through the integration of spiritual and ethical values.
