Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of business level differentiation strategies (Business Level Strategy Differentiation), Integrated Level Strategy (Integrated Level Strategy), and Corporate Level Strategy (Corporate Level Strategy) on Competitive Advantage in military hospitals. In addition, this study also explores the role of internal innovation as a mediating variable in the relationship between business strategy and competitive advantage. Taking into account the unique challenges faced by TNI AD hospitals, this research contributes to understanding how business strategies can increase competitiveness through internal innovation. This research was carried out quantitatively using a sampling method using the total sampling technique, where the number of samples used was 162 leaders of TNI AD class C hospitals. Data processing was carried out using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method with SmartPLS Ver 4 software to analyze the relationship between exogenous and endogenous variables and test the mediating role of internal innovation in the model. The results of the study show that from several hypotheses tested, business level strategies (Business Level Differentiation) do not have a direct influence on competitive advantage or internal innovation. However, the Integrated Level Strategy and the Corporate Level Strategy have a positive effect on competitive advantage and internal innovation. In addition, internal innovation has been shown to mediate the influence of integration-level strategies on competitive advantage, but it does not mediate the relationship between business-level strategies and corporate-level strategies on competitive advantage. The theoretical implications of this study confirm that an integrated organization-level strategy can improve competitiveness through operational efficiency and innovation. Managerially, these findings indicate that military hospitals need to strengthen their culture of innovation and optimize integration strategies so that internal innovation can contribute more significantly to competitive advantage. The limitation of this study lies in the scope of the sample that only involves TNI AD class C hospitals, so the results cannot necessarily be generalized to hospitals with different levels or ownership. This research has a novelty in applying the concept of corporate strategy in the context of non-profit public service organizations, especially military hospitals. The study also combines three types of business strategies in one integrative model, providing a holistic perspective on how different strategies can complement each other in improving hospital competitiveness.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of leadership, professional human resources, institutions, community participation, and investment on the effectiveness of spatial planning policies in the North Bandung Region (KBU). The research method used is a quantitative approach with regression analysis to measure the relationship between variables. Data was obtained through a survey of stakeholders involved in spatial planning policies in the North Bandung area. The results of the study show that professional human resources, strong institutions, and investment have a positive and significant effect on the effectiveness of spatial planning policies. Meanwhile, leadership and community participation did not show a significant influence on policy effectiveness. This research provides important insights for spatial policy making in KBU, by emphasizing the importance of human resource capacity building, institutional strengthening, and investment management to support more effective policy implementation. In addition, these findings also reveal that while community participation and leadership are considered important, these factors require a more appropriate approach in order to have a significant impact on spatial planning policies. These findings can be the basis for policymakers to design a more holistic and sustainable strategy in spatial planning management in the North Bandung Area.

Abstract

Digitalization of public services is a strategic step to improve efficiency, transparency, and accountability in government. On the other hand, a strong organizational culture can create a work environment that supports the improvement of the competence of the State Civil Apparatus (ASN). This study aims to analyze the relationship between the digitalization of public services, organizational culture, and ASN competence in Baubau City, as well as variables that drive digital transformation. A quantitative approach based on the philosophy of positivism was used in this study. The results showed that the Public Service Digitalization variable had a positive and significant effect on ASN competence, by having a positive and significant C.R (Critical Ratio) value. While the organizational culture variable has a positive and insignificant effect on ASN Competence. Integrated Government has a positive and insignificant effect on ASN Competence. The Integrated Government variable can mediate the influence between Digitalization of Public Services and Organizational culture on ASN Competence. The results of this study are expected to be used as an alternative decision-making for the Regional Government in designing public service innovations that are utilized by the community, increasing ASN awareness of the importance of organizational culture, and providing training to support the optimal implementation of public service digitization. The implementation of this strategy is expected to improve the quality of public services and provide tangible benefits to the community.

Abstract

PADUKA (Collective Service for Registration of Population Documents and Civil Registration in Villages) is a digital innovation from the Cirebon Regency Disdukcapil which aims to make it easier for the community to access population administration services. This service runs on a non-mandatory cooperation agreement between the Disdukcapil and the village, so that the services are not evenly distributed in Cirebon Regency. This research aims to determine the dimensions and implementation of PADUKA's services, and identify obstacles and efforts to improve the quality of services. The methods used in the study are qualitative methods, data collection through observation, interviews, and dookumentation, with analysis based on the E-Govqual theory according to Papadomichelaki and Mentaz (2012) which includes six dimensions. Based on the results of the research, the implementation of PADUKA services provides convenience in the population administration process based on the quality standards of Content and Appearance that runs optimally. Meanwhile, the dimensions of Ease of Use, Trust, Reliability, Citizen Support, Functionality of Interaction are still constrained in implementation. The main obstacle lies in the nature of non-mandatory and permanent cooperation agreements, as well as communication and low quality of human resource competencies. The efforts made are to improve the cooperation agreement period, operator training, and system improvement. Overall, PADUKA has shown a positive contribution to the transformation of digital-based public services, although more intense evaluation is needed to ensure equitable distribution and optimization of services.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effect of tax burden and bonus mechanism on transfer pricing with incentive tunneling as a moderation variable. The population of this study consists of multinational manufacturing sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2021-2024 period. Samples were selected using purposive sampling, with a total of 52 samples with an outlier of 13 data from the total. So the amount of data that will be used in this study is 39 samples. Data analysis methods include the Chow test, the Hausman test, and Moderate Regression Analysis (MRA). This study shows that tax burdens and bonus mechanisms have an influence on transfer pricing. The moderation variable of incentive tunneling cannot strengthen the influence of tax burden on transfer pricing. The moderation variable of incentive tunneling can strengthen the positive influence of the bonus mechanism on transfer pricing. The research provides relevant practical guidelines for corporate managers, investors, and policymakers. The main implication is the need for a more holistic approach in managing transfer pricing that balances the goals of tax optimization, performance motivation, and adherence to good corporate governance principles.
