Abstract

Bank Jatim is a region bank in Jawa Timur province. Bank Jatim has this division called Corporate Secretary that subdue Secretariat and Protocol division, Corporate Communication subdivision, and Investation Management subdivision. Public Relation itself are included in Corporate Communication subdivision. As a member of Corporate Communication subdivision, Public Relations Bank Jatim had important role to preserve corporate image. Bank Jatim used corporate public relations strategy.

Abstract

Communication is a reciprocal relationship between humans when there is a similarity in the message conveyed by the communicator and received by the communicant. Relationships between humans will be created through communication, both verbal (language) and non-verbal (symbols, images or other communication media). Communication has two general functions, first, for one's own survival which includes: physical safety, increasing personal awareness. Second, for the survival of society, precisely to improve social relations and develop the existence of a society. (Mulyana, 2002:41-42). One of the environments that has the most influence on a person's social learning process is a family through interpersonal communication. Apart from that, communication is very crucial social interaction occurs, this is because social interaction also requires opponents in interacting. Communication is an important prerequisite for social interaction to occur. Likewise, in the family, the importance of establishing good communication within the family complements each other, including the role of parents towards children. The family is the first environment for children where children receive the first education and love in their lives. Parents play a very important role for children, where parents must supervise the process of forming children's behavior patterns, supervise, guide, provide knowledge, provide direction and establish good interactions. This research uses a pragmatic/interactional view of communication theory, descriptive research methods.

Abstract

Issue management is a management process within a company that aims to control the image that is an asset of a company. Public relations has an important role in carrying out issue management. The purpose of this research is to explain how the public relations of the Transmission Implementation Unit (UPT) of PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) (Persero) Madiun in issue management related to kite flights causing power outages. This research uses descriptive qualitative research with in-depth interview techniques and a literature study. The theory involved in this research is the Five Stages of Issue Management Theory which resulted in the following research: 1) The Issue Identification Stage with Focus Group Discussion (FGD) and blusukan communication, 2) The Issue Analysis Stage found the cause of the issue, namely the community flying kites around transmission assets and the tradition of kite flights on holidays, 3) The Issue Change Strategy Selection Stage is an adaptive strategy, 4) The Issue Action Programming Stage is carried out by socialization involving opinion leaders, 5) The Results Evaluation Stage by monitoring the number of cases.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to introduce the public to the digitalization of broadcasting, especially television in Indonesia and DKI Jakarta in particular. Currently we are entering the era of digitalization of broadcasting marked by ASO. For this reason, KPID DKI Jakarta is holding this JBeX activity, one aim is to provide sufficient information to the public regarding digitalization of broadcasting. Because usually when we talk about digital, people only know about digital internet. The method used is descriptive qualitative research with case studies. The information collection method used includes in-depth interviews and obtaining other information such as documents and other data sources related to this research. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, the researchers then held a discussion regarding the results of the data obtained regarding KPI communication strategies in socializing Digital TV. In this research, researchers used persuasive theory and Lasswell's communication model. The result was that the Indonesian Broadcasting Commission built additional towers to strengthen the signal. This is proven by the large number of people who switch to digital TV channels rather than other TV channels. The Indonesian Broadcasting Commission also verifies digital TV data in maximizing broadcast signals. These improvements make the picture and sound quality much better compared to analog TV broadcasts.

Abstract

This research is intended to provide an in-depth understanding of physics material regarding upward vertical motion, downward vertical motion, and free fall motion using a demonstration learning model. The purpose of this article is to provide a reference learning model that can be used by teachers when presenting physics material so that it is not boring and is easy to understand. This learning model is effectively applied in almost all physics material, including upper vertical motion, lower vertical motion, and also free fall motion. Because the teacher's role is important in increasing students' interest in learning and making the class atmosphere more enjoyable when delivering the material, this article is very helpful and can be a reference source that can be used when determining the model for learning movement material.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze misconceptions about spatial construction materials at PGMI 3 UIN Sumatra Utara, with a focus on problems that arise in spatial construction materials. The method used in this research was interviews given to 20 students of PGMI 3 UIN North Sumatra. The research results revealed that the majority of respondents had misconceptions regarding understanding spatial building material. In order to overcome this misconception, it is necessary to take a more in-depth learning approach to improve students’ understanding of spatial construction material. Appropriate teaching steps and more intensive practice. This research provides important insights for the development of more effective teaching methods in overcoming misconceptions in spatial material.

Abstract

The writing begins with a literature review as part of the research method on musical harmonisation. Music harmonisation is a diverse field with varying definitions, including those from music, anthropology, culture, and economics. It focuses on the philosopher Pythagoras' thoughts on music as a materialist instrument. The research method employs a qualitative approach and gathers data from secondary sources, specifically previous research. The findings indicate that Pythagorean-based music harmonisation demonstrates music as an organised rhythm, melody, and harmony, similar to the harmonisation of the structured and mathematically diverse cosmos or universe..

Abstract

This abstract aims to present an empathetic communication approach as a strategy to reduce bullying cases at Medokan Semampir Elementary School. Bullying among students is a serious issue that requires profound attention from all parties, especially within the school environment. Empathetic communication is key to creating a safe and supportive school environment. This article explains the importance of understanding students' feelings and perspectives to prevent and address bullying cases. The use of empathetic communication techniques, such as active listening, demonstrating understanding, and promoting mutual understanding among students, teachers, and school staff, can help reduce bullying incidents. Through empathetic understanding, it is hoped that a supportive climate can be fostered in the school, where every individual feels valued, heard, and accepted.

Abstract

 Films are included in audio-visual media which are made with the aim of being entertainment media, educational media, politics and propaganda media. One of the films shown as entertainment media and also educational media is the film Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway, which tells the story of an immigrant mother's struggle to restore custody of her child. In this research, the method used is descriptive qualitative with John Fiske's semiotic theory. Semiotics is a science that studies signs. This research aims to find the meaning of a sign that shows a mother's struggle by using John Fiske's three levels of semiotics, namely the level of reality, representation and ideology. This research has revealed that the film Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway has shown a strong representation of the struggles of an immigrant mother living in a foreign country. In the process, the researcher will connect several scenes contained in that show the struggle of an immigrant mother with John Fiske's semiotic theory. Judging from Debika Chatterjee's character, it really depicts a mother's struggle for her children, and also illustrates how strong a woman is in facing every problem and obstacle she goes through in life alone. The results of this research are 8 scenes that show the struggle of an immigrant mother who moves to a foreign country because she joins her husband who demands a job which results in a problem of cultural differences which results in the mother having to try to restore custody of her child. From the research that has been carried out, researchers draw the conclusion that a mother will do anything for her own child, no matter what obstacles she goes through, a mother will still fight for her child, even a mother will sacrifice her life for the sake of her child.

Abstract

Information technology is a very important thing in various fields, especially in the field of education. One very important element is Microsoft Word because this element plays a very important role in creating effectiveness and efficiency in the work carried out. The aim of this research is to analyze the implementation of Microsoft Word operations training as a form of implementing technology adaptation at SD Kusuma Putra. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with interviews, observation and documentation as the data collection techniques used. The research results show that training in operating Microsoft Word consists of 3 stages, namely the preparation stage, the implementation stage and the analysis stage of the results of the training implementation. The training carried out by the researchers was carried out in 4 meetings. The results of implementing Microsoft Word training for grade 5 and 6 students at SD Kusuma Putra can have a positive impact on their ability to operate the Microsoft Word application. The training carried out makes students more enthusiastic in using the Microsoft Word application so that they can exercise their creativity when operating the Microsoft Word application.
