Abstract

This research aims to improve the efficiency and performance of the poverty recording application at the Communication and Information Office of Musi Banyuasin Regency by implementing SOLID design principles and query optimization techniques. Using a quasi-experimental approach, the study compares the system before and after code refactoring, The analysis results indicates that the application of SOLID principles and optimization techniques resulted in reduced volume of source code and improved code recommendations. This resulting application is more modular, efficient, and easier to maintain.

Abstract

Mobile Legends is a popular mobile game, but many users express complaints about their gaming experience. This study aims to analyze user complaints’ sentiment using the K-Means Clustering method to group data based on similar complaint patterns. The data was collected from user reviews on the Google Play Store. The results indicate that the K-Means method effectively categorizes complaints into major issues such as connection problems, in-game bugs, and character imbalance. This analysis helps developers identify key user concerns and improve the gaming experience.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the effect of profitability on earnings management in the real estate and property sector in Indonesia during the 2021-2022 period. Using a quantitative method with a sample of 100 companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), this study measures earnings management through discretionary accruals with the Jones Modified model, while profitability is measured using Return on Assets (ROA). Hypothesis testing results show that profitability has no significant effect on earnings management, although 68% of companies engage in the practice. Descriptive analysis reveals extreme variations in earnings management, while profitability is relatively stable. Based on Agency Theory, conflict of interest between management and shareholders and information asymmetry are the dominant factors. The implications of the study emphasise the importance of close supervision, improved corporate governance, and transparency of financial statements to reduce the risk of manipulation. The findings provide insights for regulators and stakeholders in optimising sectoral accounting policies.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Working Capital Turnover (WCTO) and Return on Equity (ROE) on firm value. The research data used is secondary data, consisting of financial statements and annual reports. The sample in this study consists of industrial sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2019-2023 period, totaling 43 companies. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The results of the study indicate that Working Capital Turnover has no effect on firm value, whereas Return on Equity has an impact on firm value."

Abstract

Recompense Waste Management: Automated Waste Segregation and Web-Based Notifications provides a novel solution to the growing problem in the field of waste management. The system aimed to enhance the segregation and disposal of waste provides automation and a technological approach to it making it efficient, sustainable, and accountable. Functionality The main function is automatically sorting waste, identifying biodegradable and non-biodegradable waste, rejecting expired waste. Smart segregation can be simplified by using smart segregation bins with advanced sensor technology. "Real time update on the bins status is provided through the web-based notification system, which allows enumerators to keep an eye on how much waste the bins have remotely and receive instant notifications for full bins or system errors. This minimizes the necessity for human interventions, resulting in better overall operational efficiency. Methods of evaluation included surveys and rules for system users with statistical analysis of responses. The study also evaluated the system’s use in user studies conducted under controlled conditions. Not only does this inventive solution combat the logistical issues surrounding waste management, but it also promotes recycling and the correct disposal of items through efficient sorting.

Abstract

Unorganised employee data management can hamper the company's operational efficiency and increase the risk of recording errors. This research develops a Laravel 11-based Employee Data Management System to overcome these problems. Laravel 11 was chosen because of its scalable and efficient architecture in modern web application development. The system was designed using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method to accelerate the development process through iteration and continuous feedback. A MySQL database was used to ensure efficient data management. This web-based system allows administrators to record, access, and analyse employee data in real-time with a higher level of accuracy. Test results show that the system improves data management efficiency, reduces recording errors, and increases transparency in human resource management. With this system, companies can optimise productivity and support data-driven decision-making.

Abstract

In the current era of digital development, an internal quality assurance system (SPMI) is essential to improve the quality of education. However, the manual methods still used are often inefficient and prone to errors, and this research aims to develop a digital-based SPMI system to improve data management as well as quality evaluation. The rapid application development (RAD) method used in this project enables rapid and iterative system development. Digitalization of quality standard documents, evaluation data management, and monitoring dashboard are the main features of the developed system. Test results show that the system can improve the efficiency of the quality assurance process by improving data integration and reducing manual work. With this system, it is expected to be able to conduct better quality monitoring and evaluation and become a model for other institutions for SPMI digitization.

Abstract

PT. Singa Perkasa Abadi is a company engaged in the production and sale of iron materials, such as nails, long iron, light steel and barbed wire. Currently, the process of recording the expenditure and entry of goods still uses paper notes, which have the potential to cause errors in recording and calculating stock of goods, and delays in managing stock of goods, and when shipping goods only relying on delivery letters which can cause errors during shipping of goods. This study aims to develop a website-based digitalization solution for stock management in order to reduce errors and loss of recording, increase efficiency and accuracy of recording. By implementing the Iterative development method and using the Laravel and Bootstrap frameworks. The implementation of this system can increase the company's productivity in managing stock of goods more quickly, accurately, and in an organized manner.

Abstract

The USTP-Panaon Lost and Found Management System leverages QR code technology and a mobile/web application to modernize item retrieval processes within an academic setting. This project addresses inefficiencies in traditional lost-and-found methods, such as manual records and disorganized retrieval systems. A centralized database ensures efficient item management, while QR codes facilitate quick identification and tracking. The system fosters seamless communication between finders and owners, enhancing user experience and operational efficiency. Evaluation results indicate the system's success across key metrics, including functionality, reliability, usability, efficiency, and security, rated as “Very Good” by users and administrators. While the system demonstrates high adoption potential, challenges such as network dependency and user engagement were noted. Aligned with sustainable development goals, the system promotes responsible resource use and technological innovation in education. By transforming traditional administrative tasks into streamlined digital processes, this initiative enhances campus organization and stakeholder satisfaction. Recommendations for future development include improved notification mechanisms, reporting features, and an administrator announcement panel to further enhance usability and communication.

Abstract

Information system strategic planning is an important step in supporting business sustainability and growth, especially in today's digital era. XYZ Company in Palembang faces challenges in managing information systems, such as less than optimal data security, high manual usage (paper recording) in operations, and suboptimal use of data to support strategic decision making that can hinder efficiency and competitiveness. This study aims to develop an integrated information system strategy using the Ward and Peppard method, as well as SWOT and PESTLE analysis to evaluate the internal and external environment. The results of the analysis indicate the need to increase the use of digital technology for operational transformation and data-based decision making. So that this study can provide solutions for companies in utilizing information systems to improve efficiency, innovation, and competitiveness in the industry.
