Abstract

Indonesia is among the countries with the percentage of early marriages in the world, in 37th place. While in ASEAN, Indonesia submitted first place. Early marriage to a woman will have a negative impact because the growth of body organs, especially the reproductive organs are not ready for the process of pregnancy or birth so that it is categorized as a high risk for both pregnant women and fetuses in terms of health, psychological, and growth and development of children born. A cross-sectional study, subjects were the group of age 15-49 years who were followed by the interviews and had complete data. Data used was drawn from 2017 Indonesian Demographic Health Survey (IDHS). Logistic regression model was used for analysis. only 26.6% of the respondents had married before 18 years old. As compared to respondent high fertility (>2 child), all respondents with low fertility (<=2 child) were significantly about 1.19 times,  POR values indicate that women who get married early are 1.19 times higher risk to have >2 child (a-POR=1.19; 95% CI:1.16-1.23). As compared to respondent who use contraception, POR values indicate that women who get married are 1.10 times higher risk to use contraception (a-POR=1.10; 95% CI:1.05-1.13). Respondents who living with high wealth index, POR values indicate that women who get early marriage were about 1.10 times higher risk with low wealth index (a-POR=1.13; 95% CI :1.11 – 1.16).

Abstract

The nutritional status of adolescents in Central Java is still not balanced because there are still adolescents who require low nutritional status and obesity and even achieve nutrition due to excessive nutritional status. This study discusses the nutritional status of adolescent high school students in Semarang Regency. This study aims to determine the nutritional status of adolescent high school students in Semarang Regency. The research design used is descriptive, using a cross sectional approach. The sample in this study were 138 students using cluster random sampling techniques. Grouping nutritional status data using BMI/U and z-score categories, processing this data using univariate tests. The results showed that most high school students had normal nutritional status, that is 104 students (75.36%), 28 students fat (20.29%), and 6 students obesity (4.35%). The problem of excess nutrition mostly occurs in adolescent girls, namely the obesity nutritional status of 5 students (6.3%) and 17 students fat (21.5%). From the results of this study it can be concluded that the nutritional problems that occur are obesity and obesity which still have a fairly high percentage of adolescent girls.

Abstract

Non-Communicable Diseases (PTM) is a disease that is transmitted and is not transmitted to other people with any form of contact. One of the health problems of national and global concern. PTM is currently at risk for all people, including children, adolescents, adults and the elderly. The purpose of this study is to describe the behavior of food consumption habits as a risk factor for non-communicable diseases in adolescents. The population in this study were Semarang District High School students in the 2019/2020 Academic Year, while the sample in this study amounted to 372 students consisting of SMA N 01 Bringin 151 and SMA N 01 Bergas 221 students. The research design used is descriptive, using the Cross-Sectional method that is research in which the measurement of variables is carried out only once at the same time.The results of this study indicate that for risk factors based on gender are 246 people (66.1%) and men as many as 126 people (33.9%). Fruit consumption behavior is less as many as 247 people (66.4%) and enough fruit consumption behavior is 125 people (33.6%). The consumption behavior of vegetables that are lacking is 239 people (64.2%) and vegetable consumption is sufficient as many as 133 people (35.88%). The consumption behavior of sweet foods is often as many as 237 people (63.7%) and the behavior of consumption of sweet foods that are rarely as many as 135 people (36.3%). The consumption behavior of salty foods is often as many as 181 people (48.7%) and the behavior of consumption of salty foods are rarely as many as 191 people (51.3%). Fatty food consumption behavior which is often 207 people (55.6%) and rare fat food consumption behavior 165 people (44.4%).

Abstract

Pain during childbirth is a physiological condition, but if left untreated, labor pain will cause stress which can trigger the release of the hormone ketocolamine and steroids. This pain during labor is due to uterine contractions and the development / dilation of the cervix. The stronger the pain, the longer the peak pain will be during the active phase. The results of preliminary studies in August, 100% of mothers who gave birth felt pain and screaming at the time of delivery. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between maternal knowledge about labor pain and the intensity of labor pain during the first active phase.This study used quantitative descriptive research methods and data analysis used the chi squre test. The number of samples of 38 pregnant women in September - December 2020, the technique used was the total sampling technique. Data analysis with chi squre test. The results of the Chi Squre test showed a significant relationship between knowledge and the intensity of first stage labor pain (p value: 0.001). The Conclusion there is a relationship between knowledge about labor pain and the intensity of labor pain during the first stage.

Abstract

Dengue fever is a disease caused by dengue virus transmitted to humans by the aedes aegypti mosquito bite and aedes albocpictus.Risk factors of dengue fever among others used to hang clothes or clothing, have scattered trash around the house.The purpose of this research analyze determinan behavior covering knowledge, attitude, and practices the prevention of dengue fever in the work area of puskesmas ambarawa kabupaten semarang.Research methodology this is what in use descriptive namely research of observational with cross sectiona approachment. Respondents are 63 people.A measuring instrument that in use that is the questionnaire and the result used analysis univariat.The results of the study there were respondents to the level of knowledge of good 20 people ( 31.7 % ), the seizing of the 24 enough knowledge ( 38,1 % ), and penegahuan less 19 ( 30.2 % ).Respondents who have good category 12 people ( while 20.6 % ), enough 7 people ( 11.1 % ) and category less 43 people ( 68.3 % )respondents. Suggested on the community can be more active in behaving in the prevention of dengue fever, as do the programs in reducing, and mosquito nest eradication.

Abstract

Penderita kelainan refraksi dapat  melihat  dengan  jelas dengan bantuan kacamata.  Kacamata  terdiri  dari  bingkai  dan  lensa.  Lensa  kacamata  dibagi menjadi lensa kaca dan lensa plastik. Kacamata memerlukan perawatan khusus saat dipakai maupun tidak. Pada umumnya masnyarakat belum paham mengenai perawatan lensa kacamata seperti frekuensi pembersihan, penggunaan cairan pembersih, penggunaan alat  pembersih, dan cara penyimpanan kacamata yang sedang tidak dipakai. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui kepedulian masyarakat penderita kelainan refraksi di Optik Mitra Husada terhadap perawatan lensa kacamata.

Abstract

The success of toilet training for children is determined by the mother's readiness to teach toilet training and children's readiness before learning toilet training. The phenomenon of maternal behavior in toilet training varies, some train children from an early age, some get used to wearing pampers, there are also those who let their children urinate / defecate anywhere. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of the role of parents with the ability of toilet training in toddler age children in Genuk Village, West Ungaran District, Semarang district.Correlation design with cross sectional approach. The population of all parents of children aged 1-3 years in Genuk Village, West Ungaran District, Semarang Regency was 671 children. Subjects were 32 mother children. Sampling technique is accidental sampling. The research instrument used a questionnaire and chi square test.Most of the roles of good parents were 25 respondents (78.1%) and less than 7 respondents (21.9%). Most of the ability of toilet training in toddler age children were not able as many as 18 respondents (56.3%) and capable of as many as 14 respondents (43.8%). There was a relationship with the role of parents with the ability to toilet training for toddler aged children in Genuk Subdistrict Ungaran Barat Semarang district with a p value of 0.010 <= 0.05.Parents are expected to play an active role in educating their children to do toilet training so that they can do toilet training early.

Abstract

Breast cancer is the most common cancer and the second leading cause of death globally. Teenagers also need to do a regular breast self-examination (BSE) as an effort to prevent and detect early. One of the factors that support adolescents doing a breast self-examination (BSE) is peer support. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between peer support and breast self-examination (BSE) in Jambu Village Semarang District adolescents. This research design is analytic correlational with the cross-sectional approach with a sample size of 51 respondents using the purposive sampling method. The data collection tool uses a questionnaire.  Data analysis using 25 IBM SPSS Statistics program. Bivariate analysis was processed using the Chi-Square test. The results obtained from the p-value of peer support with breast self-examination practice (BSE) in late adolescent were 0.000<0.05 (α). There is a significant relationship between peer support and the practice of breast self-examination (BSE) in adolescents. Hopefully, this research can be providing information for adolescents about the benefits of peer support that can improve the practice of breast self-examination (BSE) in  adolescence.

Abstract

Incidence of non-communicable diseases is a health problem that causes morbidity, disability, mortality, and incurring huge costs of healthcare. The incidence of non- communicable diseases it’s not only in adults and elders, but also in the adolescent age group. Efforts to reduce the incidence rate of non-communicable diseases is the implementation behavior prevention of non-communicable diseases that are CERDIK and PHBS behavior. Improvement behavior prevention of non-communicable diseases can be influenced by health literacy level that includes of aspects access information, knowledge, understanding, and decision-making related to health information. This study was an observational analytic, with a cross-sectional design, sampling technique used Snowball sampling, total sample were 387 adolescents aged 15 – 18 years. The instrument used a questionnaire, the type of analysis was Chi-Square test Based on data analysis, there is 55% of respondents with high health literacy level, good categories for health information access (61,5%), good categories knowledge (55,3%), good categories understanding (46,3%), could take decision-related to health information (50,9%), and had a good behavior prevention of non-communicable diseases (46%). The value of chi-squares test is p = 0.000, which is a significant relationship between the health literacy level and behavior prevention for non-communicable diseases. From the results can be include that health literacy level in adolescents affects the implementation behavior prevention of non-communicable diseases.
