Abstract

The objective of this study is to assess students' reading and writing skills using the Inkaber model at MI Islamiyah Reban. It delves into the planning of the Inkaber model for enhancing initial reading and writing skills, examines its implementation, and analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of its application in MI Islamiyah Reban's learning environment. Employing a qualitative field research approach in education, data collection methods encompass observations, interviews, and documentation to augment the dataset. The analysis relies on descriptive qualitative techniques to elucidate the collected data, with data validation performed through triangulation, cross-referencing multiple sources, and drawing comprehensive conclusions. The study's findings indicate that the Inkaber model, which entails presenting familiar images and matching them with appropriate vocabulary, followed by constructing simple sentences, positively impacts students' reading and writing skills. Evidenced by students' active participation and heightened enthusiasm for reading and writing, this approach enhances their engagement in the learning process. Consequently, students exhibit greater interest in classroom activities due to the utilization of familiar visuals as learning aids.

Abstract

This research reveals the idea of the tauhid trilogy theory which roots from Salafis and its existence in the latest 2013 curriculum teaching modules of Akidah Akhlaq from several publishers in various cities which become a reference for teachers and writers for students at the high school level are equivalent, of course from the teaching process from the teacher, from the point of view of education, it will have a real impact, both the impact of theological thinking to character and real attitude in the form of real action. In this study the authors used a qualitative approach, an approach that emphasizes the analysis on the deductive and inductive inference processes as well as on the analysis of the dynamics of the relationship between observed phenomena. From this research, we obtain descriptive data describing the objectives and material, training and evaluation that learning the tauhid trilogy has a tremendous impact on students' beliefs and even becomes the attitude of real action. The data obtained through observation and documentation are then processed into information. The big conclusion from this research will strengthen the views of the moderate Ahlussunnah wal Jama’ah on the tauhid trilogy who have theological problems. This view is strengthened by tracing the genealogy of its roots of thought and the basics of its foundation from the holy texts of Quran and hadits, then discussing it scientifically and concluding it carefully so it can be justified with the considerations of experts from both competent theologians, commentators and legal practitioners. Based on that, this research shows that generally the thought of this tauhid trilogy is a new thing in the realm of Islam, especially in terms of the reasoning of faith which did not exist during the Shalaf Shaleh generation, whose validity is also still debatable, problematic and questionable. In particular, if we investigate further from the development of education, it will have a big impact on society, not only peace in religion, but it can shake religious moderation and lead to anti-tolerant attitudes but to acts of anarchism, radicalism and terrorism that justify the blood flow of fellow believers and same religion, country, and nation

Abstract

At SMP Negeri 1 Bojong, significant academic and non-academic accomplishments have been consistently attained and maintained, cultivating students' self-efficacy and inspiring them to strive for excellence, fostering healthy competition within the school environment. This study aims to achieve three primary objectives: (1) assess the level of self-efficacy, (2) evaluate the degree of motivation for achievement, and (3) investigate the impact of self-efficacy on achievement motivation. Employing a quantitative research approach and utilizing ex post facto research methods, the study results reveal the following: (1) Self-efficacy  falls within the moderate category, as evidenced by an average score of 79.80556 within the range of 71.7 - 87.8, (2) Achievement motivation also resides in the moderate category, with an average score of 79.77778 within the range of 70.36 - 89.19, and (3) A significant influence of self-efficacy on achievement motivation is established, supported by the T-test results (Sig. 0.000 <0.05 and Tcount 7.563 > Ttable 2.032), leading to the rejection of the null hypothesis (Ho) in favor of the alternative hypothesis (Ha). This relationship is further confirmed by the F-test (Sig. 0.000 <0.05 and Fcount 57.206 > Ftable 4.12), again rejecting Ho in favor of Ha. The simple linear regression test results, with an Fcount value of 57.206 and a significance level of 0.000 <0.05, demonstrate a correlation (R) value of 0.792 and a coefficient of determination (R Square) of 0.627. These findings indicate that the independent variable (self-efficacy) exerts a significant 62.7% influence on the dependent variable (achievement motivation).

Abstract

The repercussions of permissive parenting practices often elude caregivers, as they grapple with work-related demands that sometimes lead them to delegate their children's education entirely to the school. Permissive parenting, characterized by granting substantial freedom with minimal supervision, can result in children growing up with diminished motivation to learn. This issue necessitates a deeper exploration through literature review to shed light on the extent of the impact of permissive parenting practices on children's motivation for learning. This research adopts a qualitative approach, employing a case study research design, and draws on insights from teachers, students, and student guardians at SDN 08 Purwoharjo. Data collection methods involve observation and interviews, while analysis encompasses three stages: data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal instances of permissive parenting practices among students at SDN 08 Purwoharjo, influenced by various factors including economic challenges and parental educational backgrounds. The consequence of permissive parenting manifests as diminished student motivation for learning at the school, resulting in apathy, neglect of assignments and teacher instructions, disrespect for others, social and academic adaptation difficulties, a lack of enthusiasm for learning, and weakened self-control.

Abstract

The Prophet Muhammad's attention to education extended to the development of a system, theoretical strategies, and teaching methods. Remarkably, many of the teaching methods he employed during his time remain relevant today. His insights into teaching methods have proven to be capable of addressing various educational challenges faced by humanity. Nevertheless, it is sometimes assumed that contemporary learning models are solely derived from Western influences, overlooking the significant contributions of the Prophet Muhammad in this regard. While methods refer to the means of acquiring knowledge, learning models are the outcomes of these teaching methods. Over time, the teaching methods imparted by the Prophet Muhammad have had a profound impact on contemporary learning models. The aim of this research is to analyze the urgency of the Prophet Muhammad's Islamic teaching methods and their contributions to contemporary millennial-era learning models. A qualitative approach, supported by library research, was employed as the research method. Data validity was ensured by reviewing relevant sources, including accredited journals, scholarly articles, and related books. This research demonstrates that the teaching methods of the Prophet Muhammad are of great significance and have substantial implications for millennial-era learning models. This is substantiated by the contemporary learning models that incorporate various teaching methods taught by the Prophet Muhammad, which have proven effective in addressing learning challenges in the millennial era. Consequently, it is crucial to consider appropriate and relevant teaching methods, similar to those imparted by the Prophet Muhammad, when developing a learning model.

Abstract

This study investigates the effectiveness of character schools (known as "sekolah karakter or sekuter") in instilling moral values in adolescents, particularly in the context of today's technology-driven world where children can easily access information independently, including content that may not be suitable for their age. Iqro Club is an institution dedicated to religious and social activities, providing a platform for positive engagement, skill development, and the cultivation of a respectful and virtuous Muslim identity among adolescents. The research problem addressed in this study revolves around understanding how character schools (sekuter) contribute to moral reinforcement in adolescents. The primary objective is to assess the practical implementation of moral strengthening through character schools (sekuter). This research adopts a qualitative approach, employing a case study research design, and is conducted at Iqro Club in Pekalongan Regency. Data collection methods encompass observation, interviews, and document analysis, while data analysis involves data reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions. The study findings reveal three key stages: planning, implementation, and evaluation. During the planning phase, Iqro Club formulates a tailored lesson plan and curriculum that align with the specific needs of adolescents. The implementation phase adheres to established standards, including opening procedures, Quran recitation, content delivery, discussions, and concluding activities. Importantly, the content and discussions are strategically designed to address moral indicators. Finally, in the evaluation phase, participants are required to complete a daily checklist to assess their progress and engagement in the character school program.
