Abstract

The results of observations during physics learning took place in Class VIII-2 students found problems in the teaching and learning process, namely; (1) The teaching and learning process uses conventional methods that it causes students to look bored, bored and passive, (2) The achievement in learning physics is still low. The purpose of this classroom action research was to improve physics learning outcomes. One effort to overcome the problems mentioned above is by applying the Mind Map learning method or concept maps. The research subjects were all students of class VIII-2 MTsN 10 Bireuen, totaling 32 students. Data analysis used descriptive analysis techniques. The results showed that the application of the Mind Map (concept map) in learning physics material in straight motion for class VIII-2 students could improve learning outcomes, where in cycle 1, the number of students who completed as many as 20 students, cycle II students who completed 24 students and those who did not complete 8 students and cycle III students who completed 28 students and who did not complete 4 students.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to design a PID control on a DC motor using 2 tuning methods, namely Trial & Error and Ziegler-Nichols. The results showed that the Pittman DC Motor system response from the Pittman DC motor was very unstable, in which there were still many oscillations and a very high overshoot value. In the Trial & Error method, the system response value was obtained on the P controller, namely, rise time = 0.000551 s, settling time = 0.00468 s, overshoot = 37.1 %, peak time = 0.972 s, and time delay = 0.00134 s. on the PI controller namely, rise time = 0.000396 s, settling time = 0.00534 s, overshoot = 47.7%, peak time = 1.23 s, and time delay = 0.00102 s. on the PID controller namely, rise time = 0.000223 s, settling time = 0.00502 s, overshoot = 64.6%, peak time = 1.54 s, and time delay = 0.000601 s. In the Ziegler-NIchols method, the response value of the system to the P controller is obtained, namely, rise time = 0.00118 s, settling time = 0.00564 s, overshoot = 15.4%, peak time = 0.178 s, and time delay = 0.00262 s. on the PI controller namely, rise time = 0.000275 s, settling time = 0.00531 s, overshoot = 58.3%, peak time = 1.44 s, and time delay = 0.000767 s. on the PID controller, namely, rise time = 0.00133 s, settling time = 0.00446 s, overshoot = 12.6 %, peak time = 0.0237 s, and time delay = 0.00288 s. The simulation results show that the value for the Ziegler-Nichols tuning method is better than the Trial & Error method, perhaps because the input value for the Trial & Error method is larger.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to design PID control on BLDC motors using 2 tuning methods, namely Cohen-Coon and Trial & Error. PID control of formula calculations with calculations in Simulink Matlab. From the simulation results shown in graphical form, the use of the PID control gives a better effect than the use of the P and PI controls. This can be seen in the comparison curve which shows the speed of the initial start process when using the PID control. In the Trial & Error method, the response value of the system to controller P is obtained, namely, rise time = 0.0151 s, settling time = 0.6 s, overshoot = 75.9%, peak time = 1.74 s, and time delay = 0.424 s. on the PI controller namely, rise time = 0.0148 s, settling time = 0.591 s, overshoot = 76.3%, peak time = 1.74 s, and time delay = 0.0416 s. on the PID controller namely, rise time = 0.0496 s, settling time = 0.55 s, overshoot = 44 %, peak time = 1.31 s, and time delay = 0.128 s. In the Cohen-Coon method, the response value of the system to controller P is obtained, namely, rise time = 0.0168 s, settling time = 0.575 s, overshoot = 73.3%, peak time = 1.71 s, and time delay = 0.0469 s. on the PI controller namely, rise time = 0.0573 s, settling time = 0.603 s, overshoot = 39.3%, peak time = 1.23 s, and time delay = 0.142 s. on the PID controller namely, rise time = 0.276 s, settling time = 0.658 s, overshoot = 2.42 %, peak time = 0.159 s, and time delay = 0.576 s. From the simulation results it is shown that the value for the Cohen-Coon tuning method is better than the Trial & Error method, perhaps because the input value for the Trial & Error method is larger.

Abstract

Based on the results of observations of low learning outcomes in dance arts subjects caused by a lack of direct interaction between teachers and students where learning takes place using videos, a learning method is needed that can improve student learning outcomes. This study aims to describe the increase in learning outcomes by using a demonstration method in learning the art of dance in class VII SMP Pancasila. This research is a classroom action research conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of 4 stages, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. The object of this study was 44 class VII B students of SMP Pancasila. The method used in data collection was a psychomotor test on 3 aspects, namely spatial aspects, time aspects, and energy aspects with instruments in the form of observation sheets of student learning activities. Data analysis uses the percentage formula. The results of this study indicate that in the first cycle, the average value obtained was 64% and increased in the second cycle by 95%. In the first cycle of student learning activities, the average student learning activity is 61% and in the second cycle is 82%. So it can be concluded that using the demonstration method in learning the art of dance in class VII Pancasila Middle School can improve students' psychomotor learning outcomes.

Abstract

Here are lots of problems that occur in the field, such as problems related to the cohesiveness of the members of the Department of State Administration, as well as problems related to programs in the context of organizing the activities of the Department of State Administration, as well as problems regarding class clothes and field work lectures. This condition certainly creates differences of opinion between department members, therefore of the various problems faced by Komting, Komting certainly has strategies and also solutions to these problems. The purpose of this research is to identify the causes or factors of the problems faced by Komting and the strategies implemented by Komting in dealing with the problems that arise. This research was conducted using a qualitative descriptive method. The results of the study say that the first step in solving the problem is solving the problem by looking for causes and not exaggerating the problem and coming must be neutral, see from a different perspective, approach emotionally and question the reasons for the students concerned.

Abstract

In this era of globalization, electricity is one of the essential needs in human life. Electricity load prediction plays a crucial role in designing supply-demand operations to avoid losses from various aspects. In this study, short-term electricity load prediction is conducted per 30 minutes, aiming to achieve minimum prediction errors. Support Vector Regression (SVR) is used as the machine learning method for data classification, and fractal method is employed for dimension calculation and feature extraction from historical data. The results of this research are as follows: In the first experiment, short-term prediction was conducted without using the fractal method, resulting in a Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) of 2.85%. In the second experiment, short-term prediction was performed using the dataset that had undergone fractal calculation and feature extraction, leading to a lower MAPE of 2.32%. The prediction results using the fractal method obtained a lower MAPE compared to the non-fractal approach. Fractal significantly influences the calculation of short-term electricity load prediction using Support Vector Regression (SVR).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using the Argument-Driven Inquiry (ADI) learning model on students' communication skills in the coordination system material. The method used in this study is a quasi-experiment with the Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design model. The research was conducted in classes XI IPA 1 (using the ADI learning model) and XI IPA 2 (without using ADI) with 36 students each. Selection of both classes based on the purposive sampling technique The research was conducted through observation and data analysis. The instrument used is an observation questionnaire that has been tested for its validity and reliability with as many as five statements and four assessment points. Based on the analysis of the data obtained, there are differences in the communication skills of students who are taught using the ADI learning model and without using the ADI learning model. This conclusion is based on the results of hypothesis testing on the Posttest values of both classes, namely -6,18 < 1.99 or 1,649 < 1,757 (sig) at the α level of 0.05.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the impact of the application of the Role Playing method on improving the learning outcomes of class VII.1 students at MTsN 10 Bireuen in Fiqh Ibadah lessons, especially the material of congregational prayer. This research is descriptive and uses the method of classroom action research (PTK) with two cycles. The first cycle involved planning, implementation, observation, and reflection, which was then followed by the second cycle. The research subjects consisted of 20 students of class VII.1 MTsN 10 Bireuen. The results showed a significant increase in student learning outcomes after applying the Role Playing method. In the first cycle, the average Pretest score was 43.25, while the average Posttest score increased to 69.5. In the second cycle, the average Pretest score was 48.5, and the average Posttest score increased to 76.0.

Abstract

This research is based on the background, namely the lack of various methods used in number recognition to develop children's knowledge about the shape of numbers. This can be seen when children are able to count but do not know the shape of numbers, the media used in number recognition is less attractive to children. This research was conducted with the aim of seeing the effectiveness of the singing method in the process of recognizing children's numbers in Aisyiyah Sumanik Kindergarten (TK) Tanah Datar District. The population of this study is 32 children at Kindergarten Aisyiyah Sumanik, Tanah Datar Regency. The technique for determining the sample is Cluster Sampling, which is a sampling technique when all members of the population are used as a sample, namely class B1 becomes the control group with a large number of 10 children and class B2 becomes a group for experiments with a large number of 10 children. Data collection techniques used tests, in the form of 8 item statements and techniques for analyzing data using normality testing, homogeneity testing and hypothesis testing with the help of the SPSS For Windows 15.0 application. If one pays attention to the research, it can be seen where the variance of the N-gain data is in the group for the experiment using the storytelling method and in the control group using the singing method, namely normal and homogeneous. Furthermore, if we pay attention to the table of results from the study, we can find out which score is sig (2-tailed) through a large score of 0.000 <0.05. So it can be concluded that the effectiveness of the singing method will recognize the number of children in Aisyiyah Sumanik Kindergarten, Tanah Datar Regency

Abstract

This study aims to produce Bandicam learning media based on Canva on Poster Drawing Materials that are Valid and Practical. The method used in this research is research and development (Research and Development) abbreviated as R&D. The development model refers to Thiaga taught theory known as 4-D (Four D) which consists of 4 stages, namely define, design, develop and disseminate. In this study, 3 experts (validators) were involved to carry out the validation (assessment) including the material and layout validator, media validator, and language validator. The subjects in this study were 1 teacher and 15 students in class VIII.1 junior high school as a practicality trial. Data collection using questionnaires. In addition, 30 students who were divided into classes VIII.2 and VIII.3 were involved as respondents for the disseminate stage. Data collection for the disseminate stage is by distributing response questionnaires and asking students to fill out the questionnaire after seeing the displayed learning products or media. As for other disseminate activities, namely by disseminating products or media to Youtube. This study obtained results which stated that the learning media developed were very valid and very practical to use in learning to draw posters in junior high schools with an overall average validation result of 92.69% with a very valid category. The results of the assessment of the practicality of the responses of teachers and students amounted to 96.92% and 94.09% in the very practical category. As well as the Dissemination stage (Dissemination) to obtain results of 85.86% in the very good category.
