Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Numbered Head Together (NHT) Cooperative Learning Model on Student Learning Motivation and Learning Outcomes in the Economics subject of class X at MAN 2 Model Medan in the 2024/2025 Academic Year. This study was conducted using a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method. The population of this study consisted of 179 class X students, and the research sample consisted of two classes, namely the experimental class (X-K) which was given the Numbered Head Together (NHT) learning model treatment and the control class (X-D) which used the conventional learning model. The instruments used were observation sheets to measure learning motivation and test instruments to measure learning outcomes in the form of pre-test and post-test. The instrument feasibility test was carried out through validity and reliability tests. The analysis prerequisite test was carried out with normality and homogeneity tests to ensure the data was normally distributed and homogeneous. Hypothesis testing was carried out with an independent sample t-test. The results of the study showed that there was a significant influence of the Numbered Head Together (NHT) Learning Model on student learning motivation. This was reinforced by the results of the t-test at a significance level of 5% (α = 0.05) with degrees of freedom (df) = 71, obtained t count of 5.176> t table 1.993 and a significance value of 0.000 <0.05. The results also showed that there was a significant influence of the Numbered Head Together (NHT) Learning Model on student learning outcomes, with t count of 4.259> t table 1.993 and a significance value of 0.000 <0.05. Thus, it can be concluded that the Numbered Head Together (NHT) Cooperative Learning Model has an effect on students' learning motivation and learning outcomes in the subject of Economics for class X at MAN 2 Model Medan in the 2024/2025 academic year.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of parenting patterns and learning outcomes of class X students of SMA Negeri 3 Muaro Jambi. The research method used in this study is a quantitative method using a simple linear regression analysis technique. The research subjects were students of SMA Negeri 3 Muaro Jambi with a sample of 149 students. The results showed that there was an influence of parenting patterns on learning outcomes in class X of SMA Negeri 3 Muaro Jambi. The results of the study obtained that the constant results of learning outcomes without the influence of independent variables were 59.572. While the magnitude of the influence of the parenting pattern variable was 0.196 with a significance of 0.005. The t count was 3,564 with a t table of 1.655.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of Canva-based interactive electronic modules on students' learning interest in the topic of International Economic Cooperation. This study adopted a quantitative experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest method. The research sample consisted of 30 students of grade XI MAN 1 Medan, selected through a purposive sampling technique. A learning interest questionnaire was used as the research instrument, administered before and after the intervention. The results of the statistical analysis showed an increase in the average score from 36.70 in the pretest to 41.63 in the posttest. The normality test confirmed the normal distribution of the data, while the paired sample t-test obtained a significance value <0.000 (p <0.05). This indicates a significant effect of Canva's interactive module on increasing students' learning interest. Therefore, the use of Canva-based learning media has been proven effective in fostering students' learning interest.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the level of lifestyle of students of the Economic Education study program in the influence of social media use. This research is a quantitative descriptive research, with the research subjects being students of Economics Education, while the object of the research is the lifestyle of students in the influence of social media use. The informants of this research were 3rd (three) semester economics education students. The data collection techniques used in this study were questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis techniques consist of data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of research conducted on economic education students at UIN Suska Riau, the students' lifestyle in terms of the influence of social media use is categorized as high with a percentage of 68.8%. These results also show that through 3 (three) lifestyle indicators, namely activities, interests and opinions, the lifestyle of Economic Education students is considered positive because in general students agree with the positive sub-indicators and disagree with the negative sub-indicators. So the conclusion is that Economics Education students have a good lifestyle and are not exposed to negative things on the social media they use.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the limited research on the factors influencing tax compliance among Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), despite the significant impact of this phenomenon on state tax revenues and regional development sustainability. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of taxpayer awareness, tax knowledge, and education level on taxpayer compliance among MSME actors in Solok City. This research employed a quantitative approach with a survey design involving 365 MSME actors selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected through structured questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS version 26. The results revealed that taxpayer awareness and tax knowledge had a significant positive effect on taxpayer compliance, while education level had a significant negative effect on compliance. These findings are consistent with the Theory of Planned Behavior, which emphasizes the role of awareness and understanding in shaping compliance behavior, yet they also open new discussions on the role of education in tax compliance. The main conclusion of this study is the importance of enhancing awareness and understanding of taxation for MSME actors as a strategy to increase tax compliance. The implications of this research include theoretical contributions by enriching the literature on MSME taxpayer compliance and practical recommendations for the government and tax authorities to strengthen more targeted tax socialization and education programs. This study also opens opportunities for further research to explore other variables such as tax fairness perception, sanctions, and administrative convenience.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using the QuizWhizzer learning media on students' learning motivation in the topic of employment. The issue of low student motivation in economics subjects highlights the need for innovative learning strategies that can stimulate engagement. This research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design using a pretest-posttest control group. The participants were eleventh-grade social science students at SMA Swasta Istiqlal Deli Tua, divided into an experimental group and a control group. Students' learning motivation was assessed indirectly through the improvement in learning outcomes (pretest and posttest scores) and observations of student engagement during the learning process. The results showed that the average posttest score in the experimental group was significantly higher than that of the control group, with a gain score of 0.65 (moderate–high category), while the control group only achieved a gain score of 0.30 (low–moderate category). The independent sample t-test showed a significance value of 0.000 (< 0.05), indicating a significant difference between the two groups. Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of QuizWhizzer learning media has a positive effect on increasing students' learning motivation in the employment topic.

Abstract

The problem in this study is the low motivation of students to learn in the learning process using kahoot media, the lack of implementation of economic learning using kahoot media and whether there is an influence of the use of kahoot media on students' learning motivation. This study aims to determine the motivation of students to learn in the learning process using kahoot media, to determine the implementation of economic learning using kahoot media and to determine the influence of the use of kahoot media on students' learning motivation. There is a difference in the average value between the class before using the media 6% and the class after using the media 76%, it can be seen that the average value in the class after using the media is higher than the average value in the class before using the media (76%> 16%). Then from the results of the r test obtained from r count > r table shows that the value of r table with N = 35 at a significance of 5% in the distribution of r table statistical values .j then the r table value is obtained of 0,334. So there is a significant influence between variable X and variable Y.
