Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of PBL in improving students' critical thinking abilities in the Theory of Money subject. This study was conducted using the Quasi Experimental Design research method in the form of Nonequivalent Control Group Design using pretest and posttest. The data collection technique was in the form of an explanation test on the theory of money material according to the indicators of critical thinking abilities. The results of this study, where the experimental class using the problem based learning model had a difference before and after treatment, the control class using the discovery learning model had an effect before and after treatment, and there was a difference in students' critical thinking abilities between the experimental class and the control class based on the hypothesis test that the Sig. (2-Tailed) value indicates that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Based on the results of the N-Gain test, 77% shows that the application of the problem based learning model is effective in improving students' critical thinking.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of Team Games Tournament (TGT) learning on student learning outcomes on anecdote text material. The method used is Classroom Action Research (PTK) with a quantitative approach, which is designed using a quasi-experimental type with a one-group pre-test-post-test design. The instruments used consisted of written tests and questionnaires. Data were collected through pre-test, post-test, and questionnaire, and analyzed using t-test. The results showed a significant difference between the learning outcomes of students before and after the application of this model. This can be seen from the average score obtained by students, where the average pretest score is lower than the post-test (67 < 79). Hypothesis testing using the t-test shows that t count > t table (14.25 > 2.03), so the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. This indicates that the application of the TGT model in Indonesian language lessons on anecdotal text material is effective in improving the learning outcomes of students in class X.2 SMA Negeri 1 Palembang. The results of the questionnaire also showed that the TGT learning model received a very positive response. Thus, it can be concluded that students find the TGT learning model as an interesting and effective process in increasing their learning motivation in Indonesian language lessons, especially on anecdote text material

Abstract

This research aims to find out the strategy for using SWOT analysis and its implementation in adjusting the competency of graduate students at SMK Negeri 2 Jambi City based on their absorption capacity in the business and industrial world. The research method used in this research is a qualitative method. The results of the research show that the absorption capacity of the business world and the industrial world for graduates of SMKN 2 Jambi City is still relatively low, so in implementing learning activities you must adapt competencies that lead to the characteristics needed by DU/DI to be able to do work satisfactorily in accordance with their field. The characteristics referred to refer to the knowledge and skills that individuals have and that individuals need to enable them to adapt to the demands of the world of work and the industrial world.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the improvement in science learning outcomes regarding Plants as the Source of Life on Earth in class IV students through using concrete objects as media. The aim of this research is to improve the learning outcomes of class IV students in the science subject about Plants, the Source of Life on Earth. The data source for this research is Class IV students at SDN 55 Palembang with a total of 32 students. The research was conducted in semester 1 of the 2024/2025 academic year. The research was carried out for 2 cycles. The data collected is quantitative and qualitative data. Quantitative data is data obtained from the results of formative tests in each cycle. Meanwhile, qualitative data is in the form of observations in each learning cycle. The data obtained is then consulted with the success criteria to determine student learning outcomes. The learning outcomes of students in the first cycle were only 15 students who got a score above the learning objective achievement score. In cycle II it increased to 28 students and the average class score in cycle II was 84.06. Conclusions from research on improving learning using concrete object media can improve the learning outcomes of class IV students in science subjects.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to improve the problem solving abilities of students in class IVD at SD Negeri 127 Palembang through the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model with the Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) approach. This type of research is classroom action research with research subjects of 30 class IVD students at SD Negeri 127 Palembang. The data collection techniques used were observation, tests, interviews and field notes. This research was conducted in 2 cycles on 30 July 2024 and 7 August 2024. Before conducting classroom research, an initial test was carried out to determine students' problem-solving abilities. From the initial test results, it was found that the average score for students' problem solving abilities was 60.72. In cycle I the average value of students' problem solving abilities increased to 67.74. There are 19 students who have scored above the KKM, namely ≥75, while 11 others still have scores below the KKM. In cycle II the average value of students' problem solving abilities was 80.67. There are 25 students who have scored above the KKM, namely ≥75, while 5 others still have scores below the KKM. Thus it can be concluded that the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model with the Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) approach can improve students' problem solving abilities.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of profitability, tangibility, and liquidity on the capital structure of Islamic banks in Indonesia from 2021 to 2023. Employing a quantitative approach, the research utilizes multiple linear regression analysis. The population consists of 13 Islamic commercial banks registered with the Financial Services Authority (OJK) during this period, with a purposive sampling method resulting in a sample of 12 banks. Data are gathered from secondary sources, specifically annual financial reports available on each bank's website. The findings reveal that while profitability and tangibility do not significantly influence capital structure, liquidity has a negative and significant impact on it. Improving liquidity management, adjusting financing policies, and focusing on operational efficiency to enhance profitability are essential. Additionally, communicating liquidity strategies to investors and training staff on liquidity risk management will support better decision-making within the bank. This research lies in its focus on Islamic banks in Indonesia, highlighting liquidity's negative impact on capital structure. It provides contemporary empirical data, practical recommendations for management, and contributes to the literature on financial practices in Islamic banking.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology in Indonesia has driven a shift in consumer behavior from conventional shopping to digital shopping through e-commerce platforms. E-commerce makes it easier for consumers to shop anytime and anywhere. Shopee, as one of the largest e-commerce platforms in Indonesia, has successfully attracted consumer attention through various strategies such as promotions, visual representation, and customer reviews. This study aims to analyze the factors influencing consumer purchase intention on the Shopee platform, particularly related to brand image, promotions, and online customer reviews. The research findings show that Shopee's strong brand image significantly contributes to consumer trust and purchase intention. Promotions such as flash sales, shopping vouchers, and free shipping are the main attractions that encourage consumers to make immediate transactions. Additionally, customer reviews play an important role in shaping consumer perceptions of product and service quality. Positive reviews can increase purchase intention, while negative reviews can reduce consumer trust, even though Shopee has a good reputation as a platform. User experience is also a determining factor in purchase intention, especially if the Shopee application does not function optimally or if there are issues with the delivery process. With the increasingly competitive e-commerce landscape, Shopee must continue to adapt to market trends, balance promotional activities with brand image reinforcement, and improve service quality based on customer feedback. This study is expected to provide insights for e-commerce companies in designing effective marketing strategies to enhance consumer purchase intention

Abstract

This research aims to find out influence of parental support and learning facilities on the learning outcomes of class X students at SMAN 9 Jambi City. The research method used in this research is a quantitative method using multiple linear regression analysis techniques. The research results show that there is an influence between parental support and learning facilities on the learning outcomes of class X students at SMAN 9 Jambi City. So, students with support from their parents in providing encouragement tend to be in the form of motivation, meeting the learning needs and completeness of students in their learning process, but due to the lack of provision of adequate learning media to support the learning process. Therefore, it is important to pay attention to and improve learning facilities to support student success in achieving good learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of Influencer Marketing and Customer Reviews on Impulse Buying among university students in Malang, with Price Discount as a moderating variable on the TikTok Shop platform. Data were collected through a survey of 152 respondents using purposive sampling, and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results show that both Influencer Marketing and Customer Reviews have a positive and significant effect on Impulse Buying, with Customer Reviews having a greater impact compared to Influencer Marketing. Additionally, Price Discount was found to have a significant effect on Impulse Buying and moderates the relationship between Influencer Marketing and Impulse Buying. However, the interaction between Customer Reviews and Price Discount showed a negative impact on Impulse Buying, indicating that price discounts are more dominant than customer reviews. These findings confirm that social factors and pricing play a crucial role in driving impulse buying on social media-based e-commerce platforms. This research provides insights for marketers to design strategies that integrate influencer promotions, customer reviews, and price discounts to increase impulse buying among young consumers.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of learning styles and school environment on the learning outcomes of class XI IPS students in Economics at SMAN 3 Muaro Jambi. The research method used in this study is a quantitative method using multiple linear regression analysis techniques. The results of the study indicate that there is a significant influence between learning styles and school environment simultaneously on the learning outcomes of class XI IPS students in economics at SMAN 3 Muaro Jambi. This is indicated by the Fcount value of 9.516 and the Ftable value of 3.10 or Fcount> F(table) (9.516> 3.10) with a significant value of 0.04. Thus, hypothesis 4 (four) accepts Ha and rejects Ho. So, auditory learning styles tend to understand and remember information better through hearing, but because the school environment is close to the highway that makes noise, students will be disturbed by the sound. Meanwhile, students with a visual learning style tend to understand and remember information better through sight, such as reading, watching videos or pictures, but because the school environment is still around the forest and there are monkeys roaming around the school, students may focus more on interacting with these animals than on the subject matter and reducing the effectiveness of learning
