Abstract

Abstract This study aims to develop a newton™s law handout in highschool that meets covering feasibiliy aspect, language aspect, presentation aspect, and graphics aspect. This typer of research is research development or Research and Development (R&D), with 4-D model. The population of this study were all student of SMA Negeri 2 Percut Sei Tuan with the subject of all student of class XI IPA1 SMA Negeri 2 Percut Sei Tuan. The testing phase for Newton's legal handouts was carried out by means of product validation by three experts, namely content experts, material experts, and teachers. The results showed that the value of product validity in the very valid category was an average percentage of 92.61% with a description of validator 1 87.73%, validator 2 98.14%, and validator 3 91.97%. while the response value in the category was very good/practical. The n-gain result obtained is 0.6, this indicates that there is an increase in learning outcomes in the medium category. Students give a positive response to the product being developed. Aspects of Ease of Understanding obtained a percentage of 78% (Good), Aspects of Learning Independence 83.75% (Good), Aspects of Learning Activeness 92.50% (Very Good), Aspects of Interest in Handout 86.25% (Very Good), Aspects of Presentation of Handout 93.30% (Very Good), Aspect The Use of Handout 81% (Good), and also the whole response to the handout developed as much 86.43% (Very Good). Teacher also give very positive response with percentage of 100%. Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that the STEM integrated Newton's law handout is very valid and very good so that it can be used in the learning process. Keywords: Handout, Newton™s law, Android, Feasibility, STEM

Abstract

This study aims to: 1) determine students™ cognitive learning outcomes using RQA learning strategy assisted by Google Classroom on Static Fluids topic, 2) determine students™ cognitive learning outcomes using expository learning strategy assisted by Google Classroom, and 3) to prove the effect of RQA learning strategy assisted by Google Classroom on students™ cognitive learning outcomes on static fluids topic for class XI SMA N 1 Percut Sei Tuan. The type of research is a quasi-experimental research design with Pretest-Postest Group Design. The population of this research is all students of class XI SMA N 1 Percut Sei Tuan which consists of 6 classes. The sample of this research was taken by using simple random sampling technique, namely class XI MIPA 5 as the experimental class and XI MIPA 6 as the control class, each consisting of 23 students and 20 students. The instrument used is achievemnet test, namely a multiple choice test consisting of 10 items. The results of data analysis showed the average pretest value of the experimental class was 54.35 and the control class was 47.50. After being given treatment, the average posttest value for the experimental class was 75.05 and the control class was 53.00. By using the one sample t-test obtained the value of Sig. (2-tailed) < 0.05 (0.00 < 0.05) so Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. So it can be concluded that there is a significant effect due to the use of RQA learning strategies assisted by Google Classroom on students' cognitive learning outcomes of XI MIPA on static fluids topic.

The sample for this research was taken from two classes, namely class X IPA 1 (as the experimental class) and class X IPA 2 (as the control class), each of which consisted of 22 students and 20 students who were determined by the Cluster Random Sampling technique. Then given a different treatment, the experimental class using the Discovery Learning model assisted by the Virtual Lab and the control class with conventional learning. The data used in this study used a description test, the number of questions was 21 items which had been validated by the validator. From the research results, it was obtained that the average pretest value for the experimental class was 45.54 and for the control class was 43.81. After learning was completed, the posttest was given with the average result for the experimental class was 78.14 and the control class was 72.62. The data analysis technique used is the t test after the data is normally distributed and homogeneous. Based on data analysis and hypothesis testing, it was found that there was a significant influence of the Virtual Lab-assisted Discovery learning model on students' ability to understand physics concepts on the subject matter of work and energy.

Abstract

The selection of an inappropriate model and the lack of use of learning media cause low student learning outcomes. This study aims to determine the effect of STAD type cooperative learning model assisted by power point media on the subject matter of temperature and heat. The type of this research is quasi experiment. The population in this study were all students of class XI SMA Negeri 1 Percut Sei Tuan. Sampling was done by simple random sampling technique consisting of two classes, namely class XI-Matlanfor as the experimental class and class XI-Matlansos as the control class, each of which amounted to 33 people. The instrument used was a student learning outcomes test totaling 20 questions in the form of multiple choice. The results of data analysis showed that the STAD type cooperative learning model assisted by power point media had a significant effect on student learning outcomes on temperature and heat material.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the feasibility of ICARE-based LKPD and teacher and student responses to ICARE-based LKPD developed on Newton's Law material. This study used the Research and Development (R&D) method with a 4-D model modified by Thiagarajan et al (1974) by limiting the procedure to 3D due to limited research time. The results of the study show that in developing ICARE-based worksheets, knowledge of ICARE understanding and development models is required, which in this study uses 3D models. The feasibility of Student Worksheets (LKPD) after going through the validation and revision stages by media experts, material experts, teachers and students in this study was 82.65% which was included in the very feasible category and the response of teachers and students to ICARE-based physics LKPD in In this study, a percentage of 85.05% was obtained, where this value was included in the very feasible category so that it was proven that the developed ICARE-based Student Worksheets (LKPD) had met the eligibility to be used in physics learning on Newton's Law material in class X. Based on the results From this it can be concluded that the ICARE-based LKPD has met the eligibility to be used in learning Newton's Law material for class X high school students.
