Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis keterampilan proses sains siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran Inquiry Training akan lebih baik dibandingkan dengan menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional, pengaruh  variasi kemampuan berpikir kritis terhadap keterampilan proses sains siswa, interaksi model pembelajarn inquiry training dan kemampuan berpikir kritis terhadap keterampilan proses sains siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMK Negeri 1 percut Sei Tuan dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kuasi eksperimen dengan menggunakan uji ANAVA, sampel penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cluster random sampling sebanyak dua kelas. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah instrumen keterampilan untuk keterampilan proses sains sebanyak 10 soal dan  tes esai untuk mengukur kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa sebanyak 4 soal yang divalidkan. Dari penelitian yang dilakukan didapatlah hasil penelitian yaitu keterampilan proses sains siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran Inquiry Training lebih baik dibandingkan dengan menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional, variasi kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa berpengaruh dengan keterampilan proses sains, kemudian ada interaksi antara model pembelajaran Inquiry Training dan model pembelajaran langsung dengan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa terhadap keterampilan proses sains siswa Kata Kunci: Model Inquiry Training, Keterampilan Proses Sains, Berpikir Kritis

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Inquiry learning model training on learning outcomes of students in the subject matter of Temperature and Heat in class X Semester II SMA AL-Fattah Medan and see the activities of students using model Inquiry Training. This research is a quasi-experimental. The population in the study were all students of class X SMA AL-Fattah Medan. Sampling was done by cluster random sampling by taking two classes of fourth grade, where class X-1 by the number of students 41 people as an experimental class taught by learning model Inquiry Training while class X-2 by the number of students 43 people as the control class was taught by Conventional learning. The instrument used in this study are: to test the learning outcomes in the form of an essay test, amounting to 8 questions that have previously been tested its validity by experts, and the instrument used to determine students learning activity is observation sheet. The results of this study gained an average pretest score for the experimental class and control class 33.72 36.66. Testing for normality in the experimental class of data obtained Lhitung = 0.0968 and Ltabel = 0.1384, for classroom control with Lhitung = 0.1209 and Ltabel = 0.1351, thus obtained Lhitung <Ltabel. Results of homogeneity test calculations obtained F count = 1.15 and = 1.68 Ftabel so Fhitung <F table, then both samples come from homogeneous group. The treatment given to the two different classes, the experimental class learning model Inquiry Training and grade control with conventional learning models, after learning given postes finished with an average yield of 56.48 experimental class with a standard deviation of 9.99 and grade control 52.54 with a standard deviation of 8.87. The average value of the entire student activity experimental class 78.05 while the control class is 50.72. The result of a linear equation with the equation y = + 29.728 0,7297x obtained that no influence using model Inquiry Training on learning outcomes of students in the subject matter and the heating temperature in class X SMA AL-Fattah Medan by 56.02%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hasil belajar siswa pada model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe group investigation berbantu website dan pembelajaran langsung; untuk menganalisis hasil belajar siswa antara siswa yang memiliki kreativitas di atas rata-rata dan siswa yang memiliki kreativitas di bawah rata-rata; untuk menganalisis interaksi antara model pembelajaran dengan kreativitas terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi experiment. Pemilihan sampel dilakukan dengan teknikrandom class sebanyak dua kelas, dimana kelas pertama diajarkan dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe group investigation berbantu website dan kelas kedua dengan pembelajaran langsung. Instrumen yang digunakan terdiri dari tes hasil belajar dan tes krativitas yang telah divalidkan dan reliabel. Data dalam penelitian ini dianalisis dengan menggunakan ANAVA dua jalur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe group investigation berbantu website lebih baik dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran langsung. Hasil belajar siswa dengan kreativitas diatas rata-rata menunjukkan hasil yang lebih baik dari pada siswa dengan kreativitas dibawah rata-rata. Terdapat interaksi antara model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe group investigation berbantu website dan kreativitas terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Interaksi ini menunjukkan hasil belajar siswa dominan pada model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe group investigation berbantu website pada kelompok siswa yang mempunyai kreativitas diatas rata-rata.

Abstract

This study was aimed to know the effect of the The concept Attainment model of student learning outcomes in the measurement of the material. This research is a quasi-experimental. Sampling was done by cluster random sampling by taking two classes at random that the experimental class and control class. The instrument used was a test of learning outcomes and learning activities. treatment with an experimental class given The concept Attainment model and grade control with conventional learning. The results of this study indicate that the application of The concept Attainment model can increase the average value of each meeting learning activities and student learning outcomes in the subject matter of measurement.

Abstract

This study aims to: 1) develop interesting instructional media such comics can affect student’s motivation, 2) determine students’ motivation after using comic as learning media, and 3) determine the feasibility of comic and student’s responses on momentum and impulses topic. The study was placed at SMAN 2 Medan and the participants were 20 science students of grade 10th. The type of research with Pretest-Postest group design model. The ADDIE model used for prepared instructional design of Physics Comic. The data of expert’s validations, students’s response and motivations were collected  by using questionnaire of experts’ validation, student’ responses and students’ motivation.The result of this study is the product of momentum and impulses comic.The result of material validation is ????̅=4.25 in the good category and instructional media validation is ????̅=4.50 in  very good category. The assessment of students in the form of response questionnaire is ????̅=4.38 in very good category. It can be concluded that the momentum and impulses comic is feasible to use in learning and get positive responses from the students. Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that the momentum and impulses comic is strongly feasible abd very good so that it can be used in the learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' physics learning outcomes by applying NHT learning on optical instrument material. The population in this study were students of class XI of SMAN 1 Secanggang in the academic year 2023/2024. The samples in this study were XI MIPA 2 class as a control class totaling 30 students who were given conventional learning, and XI MIPA 3 class as an experimental class totaling 30 students who were given NHT learning. The sampling method used was quasi-experiment and used pretest-posttest control group design. Data on physics learning outcomes were collected using a test instrument in the form of 10 questions. The improvement of students' physics learning outcomes is seen by comparing the average value of hypothesis tests that are normally distributed and homogeneous in both classes. Based on the results of the study, it is concluded that the application of NHT learning on optical devices material can significantly improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The case method reports descriptive information regarding a trial or experiment, event or analysis, or project. The case method can also be interpreted as the result of intensive and systematic investigations carried out by individuals, groups communities, or units to examine data that is related to several variables. Students or teachers usually take a broad and complex topic or phenomenon in the case method. Then, the topic is narrowed down to the questions to be analyzed. Analysis is an activity that consists of a series of activities such as; parsing, distinguishing, and sorting things to be regrouped according to certain criteria and then looking for connections and interpreting their meaning. The ability to analyze is one of the high-level cognitive abilities that is important for students to master in learning. The selection of control and experimental samples was carried out using class random. This is done to reduce bias when determining or drawing conclusions that may result in adjustments to the circumstances being made. The form of research is a quasi-experiment with a two-group pretest-posttest type. Data analysis in this research was carried out descriptively by determining the residual regression test with the help of the SPSS program. The treatment given through the case method makes analysis the basic and most developed ability in learning. These results prove that the case method analysis each stage of students' basic thinking in providing arguments and conclusions based on the thought analysis itself. Analytical skills can be developed through the case method stages. The case method stages require analysis at each stage to provide arguments and possible solutions. Repeated training helps students improve their analytical skills.

Abstract

Bahan ajar perlu dikembangkan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan karena dapat membantu guru dalam menyampaikan materi. Pembelajaran perlu didukung oleh ketersediaan bahan ajar, begitu juga pembelajaran STEM. Pembelajaran di abad-21 tidak hanya berpusat pada kemampuan kognitif, tetapi juga mencakup sejumlah keterampilan personal dan sosial. Keterampilan tersebut dikenal dengan istilah  4C. Peneltian ini untuk menganalisis kelayakan, keefektifan dan kepraktisan bahan ajar fisika berbasis STEM, dan untuk mengetahui peningkatan sebagian keterampilan 4C siswa yang diajarkan menggunakan bahan ajar fisika berbasis STEM. Penelitian ini merupakan Research and Development (R&D) dengan menggunakan model ADDIE meliputi tahap analyze, design, development, implementation, dan evaluation. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI MIA MAS Ponpes Darul Qur’an. Instrumen dan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar validasi bahan ajar oleh tim ahli materi dan desain, lembar penilaian keefektifan bahan ajar, dan lembar penilaian kepraktisan bahan ajar. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa bahan ajar fisika berbasis STEM yang dikembangkan dalam kategori sangat layak menurut ahli materi dan desain, sangat efektif ditinjau dari hasil belajar dan penilain guru terhadap bahan ajar fisika berbasis STEM, dan sangat praktis ditinjau dari respon siswa dan penilaian para ahli terhadap bahan ajar fisika berbasis STEM. Hasil belajar siswa yang di uji dengan analisis N-gain menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar fisika berbasis STEM mampu meningkatkan sebagian keterampilan 4C siswa. Jadi bahan ajar fisika berbasis STEM telah memenuhi kriteria layak, efektif, praktis, dan mampu meningkatkan sebagian ketrerampilan 4C siswa kelas XI MIA MAS Ponpes Darul Qur’an sebagai sumber belajar pendukung dalam proses pembelajaran materi suhu dan kalor.
