Abstract

Education is a vehicle for improving and developing the quality of human resources. One of the factors that influences educational problems is educators. In general, educators are those who are responsible for the development of students. The subjects in this research were teachers and students of Al-Fatah Banjarnegara Vocational School. The research results revealed three studies, namely: 1). The Independent Curriculum Management Concept for Islamic Religious Education in Islamic Boarding School-Based Schools, Al-Fatah Banjarnegara Vocational School focuses on managing a curriculum that is more flexible, inclusive, and based on the needs of students. 2). The implementation of the Independent Curriculum Management for Islamic Religious Education in the Al Fatah Banjarnegara Islamic Boarding School-based school has four processes, namely: Planning, implementation, assessment, and P5. 3). There are four supporting and inhibiting factors, namely: quality teachers, quality students, adequate infrastructure, and solid teamwork. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factor is the lack of training for teachers in understanding and implementing the independent curriculum effectively

Abstract

The type of research used in this research is Research and Development (RnD). Data collection techniques include: (1) Observation, (2) Questionnaires, (3) documentation. The subjects in this research were students at Ma'arif Mlandi Middle School, class VII B odd semester 2023-2024 academic year. The subject was chosen because the science scores were still low. The results of this research shown: (1) Learning media for educational games in class VII is an interesting media for students. With educational game learning media, students can grasp the material well and the material can be conveyed well so that learning feels more enjoyable. (2) The results of validation by material experts for educational game learning media received a percentage of 93%, including the criteria for being very suitable for use. The validation results by media experts for educational game learning media received a percentage of 87%, which is included in the criteria for being suitable for use. (3) Through learning educational games, students' interest and conceptual understanding of the science material Temperature and Heat is very high, this is based on the post-test scores obtained. The post-test scores obtained by class VII B students obtained the highest score of 100 and the lowest score of 70 with an average of 77.63. The lowest pre-test score obtained was 40 and the highest score was 80 with an average of 56.842. So that students experience increased interest and understanding of the concepts of temperature and heat.

Abstract

Multicultural education is very necessary in dealing with conflicts in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 which originate from ethnic, cultural, tribal and religious diversity. Multicultural education is very important especially for Indonesian children who were born and raised abroad. This study aims to strengthen multicultural education through cultural festival activities for students at the Kamus Guidance Center, North Gombak, Malaysia. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The data collection techniques used were interviews, observation, and documentation. Observations were carried out on several aspects, including; (1) work plan observation, (2) observation of facilities and infrastructure; and (3) activity observation. Data analysis consisted of three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions/verification. Multicultural education at SB Kamus North Gombak is very influential in creating good multiculturalism among students. Students become more tolerant of their friends who come from different religions, cultures and races.
