Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) untuk mengetahui konsep penerapan metode demonstrasi dalam pembelajaran fiqih ibadah haji dan umrah siswa kelas VIII SMP N 1 Wonosobo; 2) untuk mengetahui faktor pendukung dan penghambat pada penerapan metode demonstrasi pada pembelajaran fiqih ibadah haji dan umrah siswa kelas VIII SMP N 1 Wonosobo; 3) untuk mengetahui sejauh mana efektivitas pelaksanaan penerapan metode demonstrasi dalam pembelajaran fiqih ibadah haji dan umrah siswa kelas VIII SMP N 1 Wonosobo. Artikel ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitiannya bersifat Field Resecarh. Sumber data diperoleh dari wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Kemudian teknik analisis datanya menggunakan reduksi data, data display (penyajian data) dan conclussion/veriviation. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian penerapan metode demonstrasi pada pembelajaran fiqih ibadah haji dan umrah di kelas VIII SMP N 1 Wonosobo dapat dikatakan efektif hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari respon mereka pada saat pembelajaran sedang berlangsung dan jug a dapat dilihat dari hasil pembelajaran yang diperoleh oleh peserta didik.

Abstract

Mathematics can be considered a difficult subject by some people because it requires the ability to think abstractly. The power of abstraction in mathematics refers to a person's ability to think conceptually and generalize patterns found in a mathematical context. The purpose of this research is to initiate the development of mathematics learning using ethnomathematics and Bruner's theory of learning, aiming to facilitate students in mastering mathematical concepts that require high abstraction. This research employs a literature review method and utilizes discourse analysis as the data analysis technique. Ethnomathematics involves utilizing and integrating cultural practices and mathematics within society to enhance students' understanding of mathematical concepts. This approach is integrated with Bruner's learning theory by incorporating cultural elements into the stages of enactment, iconic representation, and symbolic representation. By combining these two theories, a deeper understanding of mathematics is expected, connecting the learned theories with students' cultural backgrounds and experiences. Thus, mathematics learning is anticipated to become more meaningful and relevant to the realities faced by students in their daily lives.

Abstract

Great developments in technology make it easier for humans to access various information very quickly, one of which is the use of GPT chat to make it easier for humans to do their work. Data collection in this research was carried out by distributing questionnaires online to students regarding GPT chat using the survey method. Based on the research results, it can be synthesized that new students already understand what GPT chat is. This shows that GPT chat is no longer foreign to students, because of the impact of increasingly rapid technological developments. Apart from that, most students have used GPT chat to complete assignments given by lecturers. The majority of students stated that GPT chat is very useful for students, this is a big alarm for educators considering that if students always use GPT chat to help with their lecture process, it can have a negative impact, one of which is a decrease in students' critical and analytical skills. The positive impact that arises from using GPT chat is that students gain new knowledge that can be used to help develop soft skills.

Abstract

This research study aimed to develop students' speaking skills in english at MTs Ma'arif Sojokerto which is located in Leksono Village, Wonosobo Regency. The researcher was given this opportunity by the headmaster to visit and observe the school to identify the problems related to this study. The researcher used the Picture-based Storytelling method to overcome students' problems in speaking english by using classroom action research design (CAR). This research consisted of 2 cycles, which each cycle has stages namely planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. The sample taken for this study was class VIII at that school. The research instrument had several parts, namely interviews, observations, test results and documentation. The results of observations, and tests increased. The results of the observation, in the pre-cycle amounted to 30%, in cycle 1 amounted to 52% and in cycle 2 amounted to 84%. Then, the results of the test, in the pre-cycle, amounted to 29%, in cycle 1, it amounted to 50% and in cycle 2, it amounted to 75%. The results of the interview test also changed, from the previous class action research conducted, students did not like English lessons to liked English lessons after using this method. From the results obtained by the researcher, it can be concluded that the use of the Picture-based Storytelling method can improve students in speaking english.

Abstract

Moral, ethical or moral education at madrasah ibtidaiyah is the first basic or initial part of character formation for students. What is happening now is that character education is troubling parents. Education in class 1A of Madrasah Ibdtidaiyah Negeri 3 Banjarnegara has implemented character education as a response to the current damage to character education. Formation of morals, manners, morals or character through the habit of reading Asmaul Husna which is able to change students' religious character. This research aims to determine the application of reading Asmaul Husna which consists of the habit of reading Asmaul Husna in forming a religious character. This research was conducted in Class 1A MI N 3 Banjarnegara. This research uses a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques, namely documentation, observation and interviews. Then the data is analyzed by condensing the data, presenting the data and drawing conclusions. Research results: the habit of reading Asmaul Husna in forming the religious character of students at MI N 3 Banjarnegara is good. This is evidenced by the increasing religiousness in reading asmaul husna with reverence in reading asmaul husna, and with the intention of only hoping for the pleasure of Allah SWT. The reading of asmaul husna is done before learning begins. MI N 3 Banjarnegara holds prayers through reading asmaul husna in the hope that it will be easier to gain knowledge. beneficial in this world and the hereafter, making the mind calmer.

Abstract

This article explores the importance of building commitment to learning and learning strategies in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in schools. In the context of modern education, PAI faces the challenge of remaining relevant and effective in shaping students' character and spirituality. This study highlights the main principles that must be integrated in PAI learning design, including the integration of Islamic values ​​with modernity, the use of Islamic educational technology, and an active and reflective learning approach. In addition, this article discusses the importance of inclusivity and moderation in PAI learning to create a conducive learning environment for all students. Using a comprehensive literature approach, this article identifies implementation challenges and offers strategies to increase the effectiveness of PAI, such as developing responsive curricula and increasing teacher competency. In conclusion, effective PAI learning requires an adaptive and responsive approach to changing times while still maintaining the essence of Islamic teachings.

Abstract

One of the important aspects that must be developed at an early age is the aspect of religion and morals. This aspect is expected to equip children with good character and personality so that these values can continue to be instilled in children until they grow up. One way to instill good character in children is through teaching the hadith of the Prophet SAW. One of the hadiths that need to be taught to early childhood is the hadith about studying so that children have the enthusiasm to become lifelong learners. However, to teach these hadiths about studying knowledge to early childhood, teachers need the right strategy so that children can understand, memorize, and even the values from these hadiths can be embedded in the child. The purpose of this study was to find out the strategy for teaching hadith about studying at RA Masyitoh Singkir Wonosobo. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The subjects of this study were group A students, RA Masyitoh Singkir Wonosobo. This research data collection technique through interviews with class teachers, observation and documentation. The results of the study show that the strategy used by RA teacher Masyitoh Singkir Wonosobo in teaching hadiths about studying is through habituation, where the teacher reads the hadiths every morning, then the children imitate and memorize them, and an assessment is carried out on the same day.

Abstract

Altruism is the behavior of loving and treating others kindly without personal interest or expecting a reward. Altruistic attitudes involve behaviors such as sharing, helping, being kind, and collaborating. The implementation of altruism in Islamic religious education is crucial for creating a generation with noble character. This study is a library research aimed at understanding the implementation of altruism concepts in shaping the character of the younger generation, effective methods and strategies for teaching altruism to students, and the impact of implementing altruism on students' morals and character. The research results show that attitudes of care, empathy, and positive actions help students internalize humanitarian values. Through project-based learning methods, discussions, and social activities, students practice religious teachings in daily life, developing a character that is sensitive to the needs of others, as well as important social skills. The long-term impact is students' ability to face challenges with empathy and collaboration, as well as their readiness to become caring and responsible leaders.

Abstract

The Qur’an, as the kalām Allāh (Word of God) and maṣdār al-tasyrī’ (primary source) of Islamic teachings, does not merely regulate matters of worship (‘ubūdiyah), but also provides significant signals and messages related to knowledge. In the Qur’an, the word "al-’ilm" (knowledge) is mentioned at least 105 times, or 744 times in various derivative forms. This term is used to signify the process of acquiring knowledge. Utilizing a library research method and a qualitative descriptive research model, this study philosophically aims to explore the origin of knowledge, the construction of knowledge from the Qur’anic perspective, and the ways to acquire and utilize knowledge in human life. From the perspective of the philosophy of knowledge, the construction of knowledge in the Qur’an can be examined through the dimensions of ontology, epistemology, and axiology. The Qur’anic conception of knowledge integrates both spiritual and rational dimensions, where knowledge is obtained through reason and revelation. The Qur’an encourages the use of reason to understand reality and attain truth, while also providing ethical and spiritual guidance. Epistemologically, knowledge in the Qur’an is constructed through the integration of bayānī reasoning (textual explanation), ‘irfānī reasoning (intuitive knowledge), and burhānī reasoning (logical reasoning). These three systems complement each other in understanding knowledge within the Qur’anic framework.

Abstract

The importance of selecting learning media is an important support to minimize the ineffectiveness of the classroom atmosphere to be fun and not boring, especially in mastering english vocabulary. This was a CAR with qualitative approach which consists of 4 stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. the sample taken is class XI H at SMA Takhassus AL-Quran. The instruments used in this research namely, observation checklist, test, interview and documentation. The results showed that Canva application based graphic design media can improve students' vocabulary mastery based on checklist observation data increased from 33.7% to 63.7% in cycle I and in cycle 2 to 88.75%. Vocabulary test data increased from an average of 70.7% to 74% in Cycle I and to 86% in Cycle 2. The improvement in the interview can be seen from the responses to each question, which indicate that Canva's application media can increase students' motivation in learning English, especially in mastering English, and is very efficient to use in learning. From the above data, it can be concluded that the use of Canva application based graphic design media can improve students' vocabulary mastery.
