Abstract

Education financing is a key element in ensuring the quality and sustainability of the teaching and learning process in educational institutions. In Indonesia, the management of the education budget still faces various problems, such as the imbalance in contributions between the government and the community, low transparency, and weak effectiveness in the use of funds. This study aims to analyze the application of the cost-benefit analysis (CBA) approach in educational institutions through a literature review of a number of relevant scientific articles. The study was conducted using a descriptive-qualitative approach to evaluate the extent to which education financing is managed efficiently and has an impact on the quality of education. The results of the study indicate that analysis methods such as CBA, Activity-Based Costing (ABC), and unit cost have begun to be applied in various educational contexts, but their implementation is not evenly distributed and still faces challenges in terms of data accuracy and financial accountability. In addition, there is a positive correlation between the level of education investment, both in terms of direct and indirect costs, and student academic achievement. This study concludes that education financing needs to be viewed as a long-term investment in human resource development, and not merely as a routine expenditure. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen the managerial capacity of schools and the active involvement of stakeholders so that education budget management can be carried out more transparently, effectively, and based on real needs.

Abstract

This study endeavors to investigate the philosophical values inherent in the Sasi culture and to explore methodologies for integrating these values into character education for the younger generation. Sasi encompasses not only customary regulations and sanctions governing the management of natural resources but also embodies philosophical principles that significantly influence the character development of village communities. The advent of modernization has precipitated substantial transformations within community life, resulting in a discernible shift (deconstruction) in both the existence and the values associated with Sasi. Traditional elders, possessing a profound understanding of Sasi culture, are motivated to preserve and transmit these values to younger generations, recognizing that the philosophical tenets embedded within Sasi represent a legacy of ancestral wisdom that has been interwoven with character education in village life since time immemorial. The research methodology employed in this study is qualitative descriptive, encompassing literature reviews as well as unstructured data collection through interviews, observations, and interactive engagement. The findings indicate that the philosophical values intrinsic to the Sasi tradition are interpreted as noble principles that serve as foundational elements for the character formation of village communities. These values of local wisdom are actively nurtured and imparted by parents to the younger generation, as they are perceived to possess enduring relevance and universal applicability across diverse contexts.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes using the Project Based Learning learning model on Design Material in Canva in Informatics Subjects at SMA Negeri 6 Padang class XII MIPA academic year 2024-2025. This study uses a classroom action research method which is a type of qualitative research that emphasizes the process, designed to achieve improvements in practice and real situations in the classroom. The research subjects were class XII MIPA 1 as many as 36 students. The results of the study can be concluded that student activity in each cycle is increasing. This can be seen from the student learning outcomes that have improved. The average initial value is 61.75 with a percentage of completeness of 33.33% (category is not good) so that cycle I is carried out. In cycle I, student learning outcomes with an average value of 79.58 with a percentage of completeness of 72.22% (Enough) increased from the initial value, but there are still shortcomings so that improvements are needed in cycle II. In cycle II, there was an increase in student learning outcomes with an average score of 84.44 and a completion percentage of 91.67% (very good). The implementation of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model is very effective in improving and encouraging student learning outcomes to a better level. With this model, Informatics learning becomes more interesting, interactive, and meaningful, thus helping students achieve optimal results.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes using the Project Based Learning learning model assisted by jobsheets in the Informatics subject of class X hospitality 6 at SMK Negeri 9 Padang in the 2024/2025 Academic Year. This study uses a classroom action research method (classroom action research), using cycle I and Cycle II consisting of planning, implementation of actions, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were 36 students of class X hospitality 6. The results of the study showed that the Percentage of Completeness of the learning outcomes of class X hospitality 6 students in Cycle I was 78% and in Cycle II was 92% and the grades obtained by students in the Informatics subject through the use of the Project Based Learning learning model assisted by jobsheets increased from cycle I to cycle II by 14%. The conclusion of this study is that Informatics learning carried out using the Project Based Learning learning model assisted by Jobsheets can have a very significant influence on improving the learning outcomes of class X hospitality 6 students at SMK Negeri 9 Padang with the percentage of learning completeness in cycle I and cycle II.

Abstract

Interactive learning media is a teaching method that utilizes digital technology to convey information and facilitate active interaction between students and the subject matter. In this way, students can participate directly in learning in a more interesting and interactive way. The subject of computer systems is an important subject in the RPL department. However, in this subject, students often have difficulty receiving learning well due to the lack of practical tools available at school, which causes student completion scores to remain below 10%. This study aims to develop, test the feasibility, and effectiveness of interactive learning media based on augmented reality for the subject of computer systems in the RPL department at SMK YPKK 1 Sleman. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model, which consists of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The development was carried out using Unity 3D software with the help of the Vuforia SDK plugin. The results of the study are interactive learning media applications based on augmented reality for the subject of computer systems in class X of the RPL department. Alpha testing and beta testing showed results of 82% from media experts, 91.1% from material experts, and 86.94% from students, which is included in the Very Feasible category. The effectiveness test showed a score of 69%, which is included in the Quite Effective category. Based on this test, the learning media is very feasible and quite effective to be used as a learning medium, and can help the teaching and learning process.
