Abstract

Background: Mental health is important in human life because it affects the ability to think and act. Declining mental health can interfere with human life. Social media addiction and excessive use of devices can cause a decline mental health. Aims: This research was conducted to predict mental health. Mental health is predicted by depression, anxiety and stress-mediated by fatigue constructs. Decline in mental health is influenced by social media addiction experienced by users. Methods: This research is quantitative research was conducted using a survey design. Data collection used a questionnaire to respondents who use social media more than seven hours per day. The sampling technique used purposive sampling and total sample size 235 respondents . This research was tested using SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) analysis and regression analysis. Results: Based on the analysis, the research results show: fatigue has a significant effect on depression, fatigue has a significant effect on anxiety, fatigue has a significant effect on stress, fatigue mediates the relationship between social media addiction and mental disorders, and social media addiction has a significant effect on fatigue that the five hypotheses proposed are supported. Conclusion: The decline in mental health is caused by the high intensity of social media use mediated by fatigue from using devices for too long.

Abstract

Background: Cognitive failure is a problem in carrying out daily activities of nurses in hospitals, because it can reduce nurse performance and productivity. Aims: This research was conducted to predict stress factors, poor sleep quality, secondary trauma and work-related fatigue on nurses' cognitive failure in the workplace. Methods: This research is quantitative research with a survey design. Data was collected using a questionnaire from respondents aimed at nurses at the hospital. The sampling technique uses purpose sampling technique and the sample size is 202. This research uses SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) analysis. Results: Based on the analysis of the results, the research results show: stress has a significant effect on cognitive failure, poor sleep quality has a significant effect on cognitive failure, secondary trauma has a significant effect on cognitive failure and work-related fatigue has an insignificant effect on cognitive failure. Conclusion: Nurses' cognitive failure is caused by stress factors, poor sleep quality and secondary trauma.

Abstract

Background: Work culture is a series of attitudes and behaviors that are part of person’s lifestyle at work. This research was motivated by the existence of obstacles indicating that the work culture implemented by employees does not fully align with the rules and regulations in work enviroment, particularly related to the issue of employee absenteeism. One factor contributing to the work culture is the low awareness among employee about the importance of time discipline. Aims: The research aims to identify the influence of work culture on employee performance at KrembanganSelatan Community Health Center in Surabaya City. Methods: This was a quantitative method with a cross-sectional design. The sample consistend of 33 respondents out of population of 73 employees at KrembanganSelatan Community Health Center. The independent variable was work culture, and dependent variable was employee performance. Data was collected through a questionnaire, and analyzed using linear regression. Results: The research findings indicate that the significance value (Sig.) is 0,000 < 0,05, leading to the rejection of H0 and acceptance of Ha. The work culture was assessed as “Good” in 79% and “Fair” in 21%of cases. The employee performance was assessed as “Good” in 58% and “Fair” in 42% of cases. A good work culture determines employee performance, which will influence the achievement of organizational goals and the quality of sevices provided. Conclusion: Work culture has a significant effect on the performance of employees at KrembanganSelatan Community Health Center. That mean the better the work culture, the better the employee performance.

Abstract

Background: The health service has a public relations division which can be considered important in carrying out its duties. One of the tasks of public relations itself is to handle patient komplaints. Aims: know the relationship between public relations skills and the competency of patient registration officers in handling komplaints. Methods: This research uses a quantitative descriptive method with an approach of distributing questionnaires to officers with 6 respondents. Results: the results obtained on the independent and dependent variables, namely the relationship between competence and patient handling in the moderate category, officer communication with komplaint handling in the low category and job description with komplaint handling in the moderate category. Conclusion: The conclusions obtained are the competence of officers in handling related komplaints, the communication of officers in handling related komplaints and the job description of officers in handling related komplaints.

Abstract

Background: Hypertension, also known as high blood pressure, is a non-communicable disease which is one of the leading causes of death in the world. WHO data shows that hypertension is still a major health problem. At this time people still often consume foods that cause hypertension and diet is one of the main modifiable risk factors for hypertension. Aims: The purpose of this research is to know the eating patterns of hypertension sufferers at the Tuban Health Center. Methods: The design of this study was descriptive. The study population was all hypertensive patients who took part in the Prolanis program at the Tuban Health Center, totaling 64 patients. The sample size is 64 patients. Using Total Sampling technique. Retrieval of data with a questionnaire. Data were analyzed descriptively with frequency tables. Results: The results showed that the most hypertension sufferers at the Tuban Health Center were aged 56-65 years (40.6%). Most people with hypertension have secondary education (37.5%). And most of them don't work (54.6%). Most of the eating patterns in people with hypertension are lacking (58%). Most of the hypertensive patients aged >65 years had a good diet (71%), almost all of the highly educated hypertensive patients had a poor diet (76%), and most of the unemployed hypertensive patients had a moderate diet. less category (60%). Conclusion: Increasing age makes a person more concerned with eating patterns, the level of education also does not make someone maintain eating patterns, someone who does not work tends not to maintain diets.

Abstract

Background: Antenatal care (ANC) service program is one of the efforts to reduce maternal mortality. However, as per the Jember District Health Office report in 2021, the coverage of K1 was 103.64% and K4 was 58.67%, which is still below the target of 100%. The low level of public knowledge regarding ANC visits and incomplete counseling provided by midwives to maternal according to the current guidelines were the main reasons for the failure to achieve the K4 target for Integrated ANC visits and the occurrence of MMR in the working area of Sukowono Health Center. Aims: The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of Integrated Antenatal Care (ANC) in Sukowono Health Center's working area, Jember Regency. Methods: A descriptive study was conducted in the working area of Sukowono Public Health Center, Jember Regency, focusing on 28 health workers who carried out Integrated ANC. The study recruited a total of 28 midwives through total sampling. The data collection techniques used in this research were interviews and documentation studies. Results: The research and documentation study carried out in the Working Area of Sukowono Public Health Center, Jember Regency, revealed that only two midwives (7.2%) conducted frequent speech interviews (counseling) and mental health assessments in the implementation of 10T in integrated ANC. However, all midwives regularly carried out 10T on K4 in integrated ANC, and only one midwife (3.6%) conducted case management frequently on K6 in Integrated ANC in the Work Area of the Sukowono Health Center, Jember Regency. Conclusion: The implementation of the 10T program in the Integrated ANC of the Sukowono Health Center, Jember Regency, has been evaluated and categorized. The implementation of 10T in K1 has been included in the unfavorable category, while the implementation in K4 has been categorized as good. However, the implementation of 10T in K6 has been included in the unfavorable category. It is crucial for counseling and case management to be carried out properly to ensure the health of mothers and prevent maternal mortality.

Abstract

Background: Understanding customer needs and customer desires by providing the best quality service, it makes many hospitals stand up to meet customer needs by providing optimal service. So that management must provide the best service so that hospital can be recognized by the comunity. Service orientation can be carried out by human resources which are very valuable assets, service orientation can be measured by employee commitment to their organization. Because employees who have a commitment to their organization will continue to maintain the duties and responsibilities. Aims: The study aims to analyze the influence of service orientation towards organizational commitment at hospital X Surabaya. Methods: The study use a quantitative research design with a tpopulation of 171 and sample of 68 respondents. The research variables consist of : the influence of service orientation (independent) and organizational commitment (dependen) Results: The results showed that influence service orientation organizational commitment in non medical staffs at Hospital X Surabaya with p value (sig) of 0.000 below 0.05. The result of statistical processing show the ability of 71.4% of the service orientation variable to influence organizational commitment to non medical. . Conclusion: Service orientation has influence on organizational commitment hospital X Surabaya. This can occur because orientation is given to customers as a guide for employees in carrying out the task and responsibilities given and building a work culture and a conducive atmosphere in the hospital. Aims: The study aims to determine the influence of service orientation on organizational commitment at hospital X Surabaya. Methods: The study use a quantitative research design with a type of research used in a planned and structured manner with the use of many numbers from data collection, processing so it can produce a result. The research variables consist of : the influence of service orientation (independent) anda organizational commitment (dependen) Results: The result of the study indicate that service orientation influence organizational commitment to non medical at Hospital X Surabaya with a Tvalue of 7.464 and p value (sig) of 0.000 below 5%. The result of statistical processing indicate the ability of 71.4% of the service oreinetation variable to inlunfluence organizational commitment to non medical. . Conclusion: Service orientation has influence on organizational commitment hospital X Surabaya. This can occur because orientation is given to customers as a guide for employees in carrying out the task and responsibilitys given and building a work culture and a conducive atmosphere in the hospital.

Abstract

Background: Nurse turnover intention is a problem in the health service sector throughout the world because it is related to the large costs incurred by hospitals and the decline in the quality of health service human resources. Aims: This research is aimed at finding out the magnitude of the impact that learning agility, job satisfaction and work stress have on the turnover intention of Bakti Timah Medika nurses. Methods: The research design is quantitative causality. The number of respondents was 82 nurses taken using convenience sampling. SEM-PLS is used as a data analysis method. Results: The findings in this study show that job satisfaction has a significant negative effect on turnover intention, while work stress has a significant positive effect on turnover intention. Learning agility was found to have no effect on nurse turnover intention. Conclusion: Future researchers can use mediating variables such as job stress and job satisfaction to explain the influence of learning agility on turnover intention which is not significant in nurses. Management must further increase nurses' job satisfaction through increasing salaries and benefits, creating a comfortable work environment, improving nurses' welfare, improving the hospital management system. Management must pay attention to nurses' work stress by providing freedom in determining work schedules, reducing workload by adding personnel. In the end, all of these things are useful for reducing nurse turnover intention.

Abstract

Background: The implementation of Electronic Medical Records (RME) in hospitals aims to improve the efficiency and quality of health services. The implementation of RME needs to be adjusted to the task requirements and user characteristics in order to provide optimal benefits. The Task-Technology Fit (TTF) method can be used to analyze the fit between information technology and the tasks it supports. Aims: to determine the relationship between Task Technology Fit and Performance Impact. Electronic Medical Records at Adi Husada Hospital Kapasari Surabaya. Methods: This research uses a quantitative approach with a survey method on a sample of RME users in hospitals. Data was collected through questionnaires and analyzed using the Pearson correlation test Results: The research results show that the use of Electronic Medical Records (RME) has a significant effect on user performance. This is because the RME application is easy for users to understand and learn, and is able to provide the latest information according to patient service needs. With the ease of use and suitability of the RME application features to task requirements, it has a positive impact on improving the performance of officers who use the application in hospitals. Conclusion: Implementation of Electronic Medical Records (RME) in hospitals according to the Task-Technology Fit (TTF) method. The characteristics of RME and its suitability to task requirements have a positive impact on officer performance. Hospitals need RME development and training to improve efficiency and quality of service.

Abstract

Background: Understanding the needs and desires of consumers, in this case patients, is an important thing that affects the quality of service for patients. Satisfied patients are a very valuable asset because if patients are satisfied they will continue to use the services of their choice, but if patients feel dissatisfied they will tell other people twice as much about their bad experience.Purpose: This study aims to determine the effect of visits on marketing and patient satisfaction at the Tambak Rejo Health Center.Aims: This study aims to determine the effect of visits on marketing and patient satisfaction at the Tambak Rejo Health Center.Methods: The design used in this research is quantitative. type of research that is systematic, planned, structured, uses lots of numbers starting from data collection, processing to results and emphasizes objective phenomena and is studied quantitatively. The research variables consist of: level of satisfaction and patient visits (dependent) and service quality (independent). Questionnaires on the level of patient satisfaction and visits and service quality used instruments that had been developed by the Tambak Rejo Health Center.Results: The results of the study showed that patients who visited used BPJS Mandiri, BPJS PBI, Mandiri with a level of satisfaction including compliance with requirements of 61.3%, ease of service procedures 64.2%, fairness of costs 71.2% and quality of facilities and infrastructure 77.8%. The quality of infrastructure can increase the number of patient visits, namely ≤ 1500 visits.Conclusion: The Tambak Rejo Health Center excels in marketing strategy, service quality and patient satisfaction. By prioritizing aspects of the Puskesmas, Puskemas provides easily accessible and quality health services that are aligned with the needs and expectations of patients
