Perguruan tinggi seharusnya terpanggil untuk menjawab tantangan-tantangan di atas melalui pelaksanaan darma ketiga pengabdian pada masyarakat, dan panggilan tersebut sejauh ini sudah banyak dilakukan namun program-program yang betul-betul pokus pada sasaran masih perlu diperbaiki, terutama mengeksplor potensi ekonomi kreatif yan gsejak lama ada dan sedang tumbuh di masyarakat. Berdasar pada latarbelakang itulah seminar nasional dengan Tema “Peran Penelitian dalam Menunjang Percepatan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan di Indonesia” penting untuk dilakukan. Seminar ini diharapkan akan member motivasi dan inspirasi, terutama kepada pengabdi untuk melahirkan berbagai karya, produk dan konsep aplikatif, terutama terkait dengan produk berbasis akselerasi percepatan pembangunan nasional.

Abstract

Abstract. The aim of this research is to describe the realization of language politeness based on (1) maxim of wisdom; (2) language politeness based on generosity maxim; (3) appreciation maxim; (4) simplicity maxim; (5) consensus maxim; and (6) sympathy maxim. The data in this study are the utterances of the general public which are then categorized as polite if they comply with the maxim assessment indicators. The data collection techniques used in this study were observing techniques, note-taking techniques, and data reduction. The analysis techniques used are: 1) identifying the existence of types of politeness maxims in each utterance data; 2) analyze the speech data based on the criteria for assessing language politeness from Leech's theory; and 4) describe the results of speech data analysis. The results of the study show that there are speeches that comply with Leech's politeness maxims, and the results of the analysis of the 6th maxim of speech have benefits for the politeness of the speaker and the speech is detailed as follows: Based on the results of the analysis conducted by the researcher, it can be concluded that politeness according to Leech's speech 6 utterances were found consisting of 5 wisdom maxims, 1 generosity maxim, 5 appreciation maxims, 1 modesty maxim, 2 consensus maxims and 2 maxims. The results of the analysis also show violations of the maxims. These violations include violations of the maxim of wisdom, the maxim of generosity, the maxim of modesty, the maxim of agreement, and the maxim of sympathy.  Keywords: Language Politeness Culture, Indonesian Society

Abstract

Abstrak. Kehilangan energi perlu diprediksi dan diantisipasi agar terjadi dalam batas normal dan wajar. Apabila pembangkit tenaga listrik sangat jauh dari konsumen, maka digunakan sistem transmisi dan distribusi untuk dapat menyalurkan daya listrik kekonsumen. Rugi – rugi energi atau jatuh tegangan itu sendiri adalah energi yang hilang karena ada tekanan atau resistansi dari sistem jaringan dan transformator. Jatuh tegangan merupakan kehilangan energi yang sama sekali tidak mungkin dihindari  Penelitian ini mensimulasikan salah satu cara untuk mengurangi drop tegangan dan rugi daya adalah dengan menempatkan pembangkit tersebar (Distributed Generation) yang optimal pada lokasi yang tepat menggunakan algoritma Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO). Penempatan pembangkit tersebar sumber energi terbarukan di sistem distribusi mengurangi rugi-rugi daya dan mengoptimalkan penetrasi dan pemanfaatan sumber energi terbarukan. Dari simulasi dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa penempatan optimal pembangkit tersebar dapat mereduksi rugi-rugi daya aktif dan daya reaktif pada system distribusi. Penempatan optimal pembangkit tersebar dapat juga memperbaiki profil tegangan atau mengatasi masalah tegangan jatuh. Kata Kunci: PSO, Distributed Generation, Rugi Daya

Abstract

Abstrak. Perangkat pembelajaran sebagai bagian dari standar proses pendidikan tinggi yang sangat urgen untuk dikembangkan demi pencapaian kompetensi lulusan program studi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (a) mengetahui tahapan pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran Matakuliah pembelajaran vokasi keteknikan pada Program Studi PVKT (S3) Pascasarjana Universitas Negeri Makassar, (b) mengetahui pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran Matakuliah pembelajaran vokasi keteknikan Program Studi PVKT (S3) Pascasarjana Universitas Negeri Makassar memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis, dan efektif, dan (c) mengetahui respon mahasiswa terhadap pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran Matakuliah pembelajaran vokasi keteknikan pada Program Studi PVKT  (S3) Pascasarjana Universitas Negeri Makassar. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan model pengembangan yang akan digunakan diadaptasi dari model pengembangan ADDIE, dimana tahapannya mengikuti model ADDIE dan langkah desain perangkat pembelajaran. Hasil pengujian perangkat pembelajaran dalam bentuk angket yang tersebar pada responden didapatkan bahwa seluruh item instrument dinyatakan valid dengan nilai yang sangat tinggi yaitu diatas 0,9 pada aspek format dan Bahasa, sedangkan pada aspek isi didapatkan nilai rata-rata diatas 0,7 dengan nilai p<0,001. Hasil uji reliabilitas pada semua butir instrument memiliki nilai estimasi sebesar 0,923 dan 0,924 baik pada pengujian menggunakan Alpha Cronbach maupun McDonald Omega, Nilai estimasi tersebut sangat tinggi karena lebih besar dari 0,9 dengan kategori reliabilitas sempurna. Kata Kunci: Perangkat Pembelajaran, Addie, R&D

Berdasarkan latar belakang yang telah dipaparkan di atas maka permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah Bagaimanakah dengan pendekatan active learning pada perkalian bilangan cacah dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa kelas IV UPTD SDN 78 Parepare?“Apakah dengan pendekatan active learning pada perkalian bilangan cacah dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV UPTD SDN 78 Parepare?Adapun tujuan yang diharapkan dari peneliti ini adalah Untuk mengetahui pendekatan active learning pada perkalian bilangan cacah dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa kelas  IV UPTD SDN 78 Parepare. Untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada perkalian bilangan cacah dengan menggunakan pendekatan active learning di kelas IV UPTD SDN 78 Parepare Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif, yaitu pendekatan penelitian untuk mendeskripsikan aktifitas siswa dan guru dalam pelaksanaan tindakan pembelajaran. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (classroom action research) atau yang biasa juga disebut PTK dengan tahapan-tahapan pelaksanaan meliputi: perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, obsrvasi, dan refleksi secara berulang. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan selama dua siklus dengan penerapan pendekatan active learning dalam pembelajaran guna meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. ketika permasalahan belum terselesaikan dalam satu siklus tersebut, maka dapat dilanjut ke siklus berikutnya   Kata Kunci : Active Learning, Konvensional, Hasil Belajar

Abstract

Abstrak. Vending Machine atau mesin penjual otomatis merupakan alat penjualan makanan, minuman, mainan, dan lain-lain secara otomatis tanpa adanya kasir atau operator. Umumnya sistem transaksi pada vending machine di Indonesia masih menggunakan uang kertas sebagai alat transaksinya, dimana pelanggan harus menggunakan uang pas dan tidak bisa menerima uang kembalian, serta masih membaca manual penghasilan dari setiap unit. Oleh sebab itu dibuatlah rancangan ini dengan menerapkan pembayaran dengan menggunakan uang elektronik (e-money) dan teknologi Internet of Things (IoT) kedalam Vending Machine, dimana sistem yang akan dibuat dapat melihat data transaksi, data stok dan data penjualan tiap bulannya secara online melalui website dan merubah sistem pembayaran yang sebelumnya menggunakan uang kertas kini menggunakan kartu e-money agar pelanggan tidak perlu lagi menyiapkan uang pas dengan kondisi bagus untuk melakukan transaksi. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan metode penelitian research and development, pengembangan alat ini dilakukan dengan melakukan studi literatur, kemudian membuat protipe alat dan melakukan pengujian terhadap prototipe yang telah dibuat. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan efisiensi dalam pengelolaan vending machine serta mempermudah pelanggan dalam dalam proses transaksinya.  Kata Kunci: Vending Machine, E-Money, Internet of Thing

Abstract

Abstract. The objectives of the study were: (1) to determine the knowledge, attitudes, and behavior of managing the waste of the community who inhabit the residential houses with a slope of 5 to 10 degrees before and after the experiment in Mamasa Regency, (2) to determine the effect of the experiment on increasing knowledge, attitudes, and community behavior in managing waste who inhabiting houses with a slope of 5 to 10 degrees in Mamasa Regency. This research is classified as quantitative research and the approach used is experimental research. The research location is in Mamasa Regency. The sample area was chosen intentionally (purposive sampling), namely Mambuliling Village. Respondents as many as 25 families were selected by purposive sampling method. The experimental design used was One Group Pretest-posttest Desigen (Borg and Gall, 2008). The research variables are: (1) knowledge about waste, (2) attitude to manage waste, and (3) behavior in managing waste before and after the experiment. The data analysis techniques used are: (1) descriptive statistical analysis, and (2) inferential statistical analysis. The analytical model used is the correlation t test.The results showed that: (1) the knowledge, attitudes, and behavior of the community in managing the waste who inhabited the residential houses with a slope of 5 to 10 degrees in Mamasa Regency before the experiment was classified as low and after the experiment was classified as high, (2) Experiments had an effect on increasing knowledge, attitudes, and behavior of the community in managing waste who inhabited the residential houses with a slope of 5 to 10 degrees in Mamasa Regency.  Keywords: Waste, Knowledge, Attitude, and Behavior.

Abstract

Abstrak. The problems studied in this research are students' attitudes towards inclusive education and readiness to take part in joint education with persons with disabilities on campus. The research objective was to examine students' attitudes towards inclusive education and students' readiness to participate in co-education with persons with disabilities on campus. The variables in this study are students' attitudes towards inclusive education and readiness to participate in co-education with persons with disabilities. Data was collected using a questionnaire in the Google form format, which was distributed to all FIP students. The willingness of students to fill out the Google form was considered randomly. The number of students who filled out the questionnaire was 159 people. The data were processed using descriptive and correlation analysis techniques, with the help of the SPSS ready-to-use program. The results showed that all students had a positive attitude towards inclusive education, and there was no overall difference in attitudes towards inclusive education on campus between male and female students. Most of the students expressed their readiness to participate in co-education with persons with disabilities on campus. The attitude of students has a positive and significant relationship with the readiness of students to take part in education with persons with disabilities on campus. The experience of interacting with persons with disabilities has a positive and significant effect on students' attitudes toward persons with disabilities on campus. Kata Kunci: Persons With Disabilities, Inclusive Education, Student Attitudes

Abstract

Abstract, Entrepreneurship courses taught in the PPs UNM Fine Arts Education Masters Study Program. The competency demands that are expected of students are to have entrepreneurial sensitivity, insight into entrepreneurial knowledge, have the ability to uncover their potential and be able to create businesses in their scientific fields. This study aims to (1) obtain competency formulations or learning outcomes expressed in the form of lesson plans, (2) establish a systematic framework for Teaching Materials, (3) arrange teaching materials with good validity. Due to the type of development research, the development procedure adapts that developed by Borg & Gall which consists of ten steps, but in practice only three stages can be carried out, namely from 1) preliminary study and data/information collection, 2) planning, 3) developing a draft initial and validation test or review by the validator. The result of this research is to give birth to the output of the Teaching Materials Book as a learning tool whose contents include the formulation of competency achievement for the course, the contents of the teaching material, and bills of course assignments. This Teaching Materials Book has fulfilled the eligibility criteria with an average validity test score = 4.69 (very good category) by the material expert and media expert validators. In order for this research to be more perfect and complete, it is recommended to carry out further research trials in fulfilling the material as having a feasibility level of effectiveness and practicality.  Keywords: Development, Teaching Materials, Entrepreneurship
