Abstract

A MSME called One Bowl Soup offers Singaporean fried fish soup. In April 2019, One Bowl Soup opened in the A2 Foodcourt. It will be crucial for the business to manage production capacity when operating. It was discovered by operating a business in the foodcourt region that the foodcourt will have a large number of visitors during vacations, specifically weekends, school breaks, and national holidays. The fact that One Bowl Soup MSMEs are active and integrated in the majority of significant commercial apps, such as Go-Food, GrabFood, and Shopee Food, is another aspect that affects demand for these MSMEs. One Bowl Soup is open from 9.00 WIB until 21.00 WIB. According to the average quarterly sales of One Bowl Soup MSMEs during the past three years, there was a spike in demand during the first, second, and fourth quarters due to national holidays, which are widely observed by Indonesians. Little was done by One Bowl Soup UMKM to foresee these changes in demand. Therefore, One Bowl Soup must increase its preparation efforts to anticipate demand swings around national holidays.

Abstract

In running a business, especially in the service sector, management and production capacity is one of the keys to success. This is because with both of these things being good, the opportunity for shortages and excess production will be avoided. In this study, MSME J.Laufleurs became the object of research and the objectives to be achieved were knowing the pattern of demand, the reservation system used, and how to manage demand and production capacity. This study utilizes qualitative data analysis methods in the form of interviews and documentation, as well as quantitative data analysis methods, namely graph/table analysis. Through the results of the analysis, researchers know that over the last three years MSME J.Laufleurs has increased by 15% every year. In addition, researchers also found problems in this business, namely the lack of manpower in producing bouquets which can increase demand when there are certain events, the working hours applied are considered insufficient and subcontracts are still unable to cover production capacity. Overall for the last three years, J.Laufleurs' business has been doing well, this is evidenced by the increase in production every year. However, so that in the future the management of demand and production capacity can run better, the researcher would like to recommend that J.Laufleurs can add workers, work overtime hours and subcontract 2 people, 1.2 hours and 12 units, respectively.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of KUR funds (People's Business Credit Loan Capital) on the expansion of MSMEs in the South Jakarta Region. This approach combines a qualitative framework with a descriptive approach. The research lasted two months, beginning in February 2022 and concluding in March 2022 in South Jakarta's, especially on modern beverage SME sector. This study discovered that the financing of BRI KUR funds for modern beverage MSMEs in South Jakarta was highly effective. Currently, beverage vendors acknowledge that after receiving KUR funds from BRI, their businesses are expanding, beginning with an increase in revenue and an expansion of the necessary infrastructure. This is due to the fact that the financing of KUR funds by BRI not only provides assistance in the form of funds, but also monitors the growth of each MSME business, making MSME business owners feel extremely supported. The role of KUR financing in the development of modern beverage MSMEs in the South Jakarta region can boost business productivity, particularly for Tebet, South Jakarta-based MSMEs. This demonstrates that the KUR funds provided by BRI have a positive effect on the growth of MSMEs, as initial profits and profits after receiving KUR funds are always higher than initial profits.
