Abstract

The increase in the number of music festival events in the city of Medan is a phenomenon in this study. To provide satisfaction to visitors, there are several factors, one of which is the quality of service and facilities. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Service Quality and Facilities on Visitor Satisfaction at the 2023 Deliland Festival event. The population of this study totaled 19,694 visitors, and the sample used was 100 respondents (slovin). The data used in this research comes from field studies and literature studies in the form of primary and secondary data. This study uses quantitative research methods with descriptive research types which include validity test, reliability test, classic assumption test, hypothesis testing (t test, F test, and analysis coefficient of determination test (R2). The results of the test of the coefficient of determination (R2) show that the variable Quality of Service and Facilities affects Visitor Satisfaction by 74.8% and the remaining 25.2% are influenced by other variables not examined in this study.

Abstract

One of the mainstay tourist attractions in Samosir Regency is Holbung Hill. There are several factors that are the reason tourists visit a tourist attraction, including attractiveness, facilities and ticket prices. A tourist attraction is a place with beauty, uniqueness, authenticity and value that can be used as a place of entertainment for tourists in an effort to fulfill their spiritual and physical needs. Facilities are everything that is provided to be used and enjoyed by visitors while using the services so as to make visitors feel comfortable. The ticket price is the amount charged for a service in order to obtain the benefits of the service. Tourist visits that do not experience a significant and unstable increase are phenomena in this study. The research aims to determine the effect of attraction, facilities and ticket prices on visitor satisfaction at the Bukit Holbung tourist attraction in Samosir Regency. This research was conducted using a quantitative approach. The object of research is visitors to the Holbung Hill tourist attraction in Samosir Regency in 2022. The population in this study is unknown. The sample in this study was 100 visitors. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire via Google form and observation at tourist destinations. Data analysis used is validity test, reliability test, classic assumption test, multiple linear regression and hypothesis testing. The results showed that visitor satisfaction at the Bukit Holbung tourist attraction in Samosir Regency was significantly and partially influenced by attractiveness, facilities, and ticket prices. Simultaneously attractiveness, facilities and ticket prices have a positive and significant effect on visitor satisfaction. Attractiveness has the most dominant influence on visitor satisfaction. The multiple linear regression equation for this study is Y = 1.667 + 0.267X1 + 0.366X2 + 0.251X3 + e. The test results of the coefficient of determination show that all the variables of attractiveness, facilities and ticket prices are able to explain 74.5% and the remaining 25.5% are influenced by other variables not examined in this study.

Abstract

Bazaar Jakarta Fest is an event that is open to the public, where everyone has the opportunity to come and enjoy a variety of shopping, culinary and entertainment experiences presented in a lively and lively atmosphere. Held at Center Point Medan, Medan City. There are several factors that influence the decision to visit including facilities and promotion mix. The purpose of this study was to see the effect of facilities and promotion mix on the decision to visit the Jakarta Fest Bazaar. Data collected through questionnaires and observations. Then it will be analyzed using data quality tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear analysis, coefficient of determination tests and hypothesis testing. The results of the study show that partially the facilities and promotion mix have a positive and significant influence on the decision to visit the Jakarta Fest Bazaar Event. Simultaneously the facilities and promotion mix have a positive and significant effect on the decision to visit and all the variables of the facilities and promotion mix affect the decision to visit by 81.9% and the remaining 18.1% are influenced by other factors not examined in this study.

Abstract

An event is an agenda for certain activities or festivals that displays and celebrates important things that are held at a certain time with the aim of communicating messages to visitors. In every event organization, the thing that must always be prioritized is the satisfaction of event visitors. Facilities are everything provided by the company to provide convenience for customers with the aim of providing high satisfaction and being a benchmark for visitor satisfaction from all forms of services provided. Location is a company decision to determine a place of business to carry out business activities or operational activities, and to distribute goods or services that are part of its business activities to consumers. The purpose of this study was to find out whether there is an influence of facilities and location on visitor satisfaction at the Thaipusam Street festival event in Medan. This research is a type of associative research using quantitative data with a population of 5,000 people and a sample of 98 people. The data analysis technique used in this study is multiple linear regression with partial data hypothesis testing, simultaneous testing and the coefficient of determination. Facilities and location have a positive and partial effect on Visitor Satisfaction of the Thaipusam Street Festival Event in Medan. From the results of the simultaneous research it was concluded that the facilities and location simultaneously affected the visitor satisfaction of the Thaipusam Street Festival Event in Medan. The magnitude of the influence is known from multiple linear regression analysis with the result of a coefficient of determination that is equal to 11,6% indicating that the relationship between the independent variables consisting of facilities and location does not have a strong enough effect on visitor satisfaction while the remaining 88,4% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.

Abstract

Pariban Hot Springs is one of the most visited tourist destinations by tourists. Apart from being a very nice destination, the cool air also attracts visitors to visit these destinations. However, the quality of a tourist destination is not only determined by the beauty of the tourist object, but must be supported by the quality of service so that visitors will feel satisfied and intend to visit again. Therefore the purpose of this research is to find out how the influence of service quality on visitor satisfaction. This research uses associative quantitative research methods with a sample of 100 respondents. The method of analysis in this study is multiple linear regression with partial hypothesis testing (t test) and simultaneous testing (f test). From the test results of this study, it was found that partially the reliability and empathy variables had a significant influence on visiting satisfaction while the variables of responsiveness, assurance and physical evidence did not show a significant effect. Simultaneously the variables of reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy and tangibles together have a significant effect on visiting satisfaction.

Abstract

The Influence of Attractiveness and Facilities on Visiting Decisions at Puncak Siosar 2000 MICE Destinations, Karo Regency. This study aims to determine the effect of tourist attraction on the decision to visit the MICE Puncak Siosar 2000 destination, determine the effect of facilities on the decision to visit the MICE Puncak Siosar 2000 destination, determine the influence of tourist attraction and facilities on the decision to visit the MICE Puncak Siosar 2000 destination. This study uses a quantitative research method with multiple linear analysis. The variables used in this study are Attractiveness (X1), Facilities (X2), and Visit Decision (Y). Data collection was obtained by distributing questionnaires online to visitors who had visited Puncak Siosar 2000 using a accidental sampling technique, with predetermined characteristics. The scale measurement used in this study is the Likert Scale. The data in this study were processed with the help of the IBM SPSS Statistics 26 for Windows application. The results showed that the Attractive Variables (X1) and Facilities (X2) had a positive and significant effect on Decision (Y) both partially and simultaneously. This is evidenced by the results obtained based on hypothesis testing. The results of the t test for attractiveness with a significant level at α = 0.05 with tcount > ttable (6.227 > 1.661) and facilities with a significant level at α = 0.05 with tcount > ttable (5.552 > 1.661). While the results of the F test are proven by a significant level at α = 0.05 with fcount > ftable (52.338 > 3.09).

Abstract

This qualitative research aims to explore the interconnectedness of education and business by examining the relationship between teacher workload, student achievement, and integrating Buddhist perspectives on science and technology. Employing a mixed-methods approach, the study utilizes purposive sampling to select participants. Data is gathered through interviews, surveys, and document analysis. Analysis involves thematic coding and triangulation of findings. Initial results indicate a significant correlation between teacher workload, student performance, and the incorporation of Buddhist principles into science and technology education. These findings contribute to understanding how educational practices can be enhanced by bridging academic rigor with holistic philosophies, fostering a more balanced approach to learning and preparing students for the demands of the modern world.

Abstract

Competence has a very important role, because competence generally concerns the expertise of an employee where this expertise can support the success and performance level of employees, besides that the level of employee performance can affect the level of performance of a company as well. This research uses the literature review study method by looking for sources from articles, books and other research. This research focuses on the competencies possessed by employees of PT Berkah Industri Mesin Angkat (BIMA) in Surabaya, that individual competence is very important as a support for the success of a company.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of product quality and product design on purchasing decisions for Wardah products at Ela Cosmetics Padang. This type of research is quantitative, where this research uses numerical data and the research process emphasizes objective measurement of results using statistical analysis. The population in this study were consumers using Wardah products during the last 6 months, namely 660 consumers. The sampling technique used was random sampling. The number of samples was 70 people obtained using the Isaac and Michael formula. The type of data used in this research is quantitative and qualitative data. Meanwhile, the data sources are primary and secondary data sources. The data analysis technique uses multiple linear regression using the SPSS version 21.00 program. The hypothesis was tested using the t test at α = 0.05. The results of this research show that product quality and product design have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions for Wardah products at Ela Cosmetics Padang.

Abstract

This research was conducted to examine the influence of product quality, price and social media marketing on purchasing decisions for Scarlett Whitening skincare products and purchase intention as an intervening variable (Case study of students from the Faculty of Economics and Business Class of 2020, Wijaya Kusuma University, Surabaya). The population in this study were active students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Class of 2020, Wijaya Kusuma University, Surabaya. The sample used in this research was 60 respondents with the criteria being female and male respondents aged at least 17 years and respondents who had used and had purchased Scarlett Whitening skincare products. The sample collection technique uses non-probability sampling using purposive sampling, while data collection is carried out using a physical questionnaire. The analysis used is path analysis which is processed using IBM SPSS. The results of this research can be concluded that Product Quality has a partial effect on Purchasing Decisions with a significance value (0.000 < 0.05), Price has a partial effect on Purchasing Decisions with a value of significance (0.019 < 0.05), Social Media Marketing partially influences Purchase Decisions with a significance value (0.000 < 0.05), Purchase interest has a direct influence on Purchase Decisions with a significance value (0.022 < 0.05). Product Quality has a partial influence on Purchase Interest with a significance value of (0.008 < 0.05), Price has a partial influence on Purchase Interest with a significance value of (0.029 < 0.05), Social Media Marketing has a partial influence on Purchase Interest with a significance value of (0.001 < 0.05). Purchase Interest cannot be used as an intervening variable that explains Product Quality on Purchase Decisions with an influence of (0.082 > 0.017), Purchase Interest cannot be used as an intervening variable that explains the influence of Price on Purchase Decisions with an influence of (0.038 > 0.011) and Purchase Interest cannot used as an intervening variable that explains the influence of Social Media Marketing on Purchasing Decisions with an influence of (0.843 > 0.024).
