Abstract

In the Indonesian food and beverage sector, this study examines how brand experience, social media interaction, and product customisation affect Generation Z customer behavior. Data gathered from 150 Generation Z customers was analyzed using a quantitative method that made use of structural equation modeling with partial least squares (SEM-PLS). The results of the study show a strong positive correlation between the behavior of Generation Z consumers and each independent variable, including social media participation, brand experience, and product customisation. The findings highlight how crucial strategic customisation, a strong social media presence, and improved brand experiences are in influencing Generation Z customers' preferences and decisions. These observations have important ramifications for companies who want to modify their marketing plans in order to successfully connect this ever-changing group of consumers in the Indonesian market.

Abstract

This study aims to explore cultural entropy in higher education institutions, with a focus on understanding its impact on employee performance and organizational dynamics. The research investigates factors influencing cultural entropy, the relationship with leadership, and parallels with healthcare settings. Conducted as a systematic literature review, this research employs a bottom-up approach, reviewing articles from Scopus, Emerald, and Google Scholar (2010-2023). The analysis includes factors contributing to cultural entropy, leadership styles, and the impact on organizational performance in higher education. The findings reveal that cultural entropy in higher education is influenced by factors such as bureaucratic excess, unclear communication, and limited employee engagement. Transformational leadership emerges as a crucial factor in addressing cultural entropy, emphasizing the need for leaders who can instigate positive change and foster a culture of continuous learning. The research is limited by the relatively small body of literature on cultural entropy in higher education. Further research is needed to explore tailored approaches for diverse academic contexts and to develop specific interventions for mitigating cultural entropy in educational settings. The study underscores the importance of proactive leadership in managing cultural entropy. Higher education institutions can benefit from strategies inspired by successful interventions in healthcare settings. Implementing policies and supports to address employee stress and cultural entropy can contribute to a more balanced and sustainable work environment. This study contributes to the limited body of literature on cultural entropy within educational institutions, shedding light on its unique manifestations and challenges. The exploration of parallels between healthcare and academia provides a novel perspective, emphasizing the distinct dynamics at play in educational settings. The study encourages further investigation into tailored approaches for addressing cultural entropy in diverse academic contexts.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of product differentiation on customer satisfaction, to test and analyze the effect of product differentiation on customer loyalty, to test and analyze the effect of customer satisfaction on customer loyalty and to test and analyze the indirect effect of product differentiation on customers loyalty through customer satisfaction at Balekambang Mojokerto District, East Java. The sample in this study is 110 tourists sampling used in this study is to use the accidental sampling method. Data was collected using a questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis used in this study is linear regression analysis with SPSS for Windows version 24. Based on the results of regression analysis, it was found that first product differentiation has a significant positive effect on customer satisfaction. Second, product differentiation has a direct positive effect on customer loyalty. Third, customer satisfaction has a significant positive effect on customer loyalty. Fourth, product differentiation indirectly has a significant positive effect on customer loyalty through customer satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of service quality and perceived value on brand loyalty mediated by customer satisfaction at Mie Gacoan restaurants in all areas in Yogyakarta. This research is explanatory research with survey method. The population in this study were all consumers of Mie Gacoan in the Yogyakarta branch. Sampling using purposive sampling method. This type of statistical analysis uses PLS 3.0. And the results showed that directly all independent variables have a significant positive effect on brand loyalty. Indirectly service quality, perceived value has a significant positive effect on brand loyalty which is mediated by customer satisfaction.

Abstract

Auditor switching is a change of KAP or auditor made by the company for a reason or there are certain factors from the company and from the auditor itself. Auditor Switching in Indonesia is one of the regulations required by the Indonesian government as an effort to maintain auditor independence. This study aims to analyse the effect of audit opinion, institutional ownership, management change, and financial distress on auditor switching. The results of this study reveal several important findings. First, Audit Opinion has an insignificant influence on auditor switching this is because in general the sample of banking companies mostly get an unqualified opinion. Second, Institutional Ownership has an insignificant influence on auditor switching because the high proportion of institutional ownership in a banking company does not guarantee auditor switching. Third, Management Change has a significant influence on auditor switching because management wants a KAP that can meet management's needs in managing the company. Finally, Financial Distress has a significant influence on auditor switching because when a company experiences financial distress, the company will make a change of KAP. The potential bankruptcy experienced by the company causes company management to try to prevent bankruptcy which results in liquidation.

Abstract

Gold pawn financing can be interpreted as pawning or surrendering physical authority over property/valuables from customers to banks to be managed with the ar-rahn principle, namely as collateral for loans/debts given to customers/borrowers. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of inflation rate and gold price on the distribution of Rahn financing at PT Bank Syariah Indonesia. The data for this research comes from the official website of Bank Indonesia, PT Antam Indonesia and PT Bank Syariah Indonesia. The data taken is a monthly report. Hypothesis testing using multiple linear regression analysis and data processing tools with the SPSS 21 application. The results of data analysis show that partially the inflation rate does not have a significant effect on the distribution of Rahn Financing of PT Bank Syariah Indonesia with a t value of -2.03 and a significant value of 0.051, and gold price fluctuations affect the distribution of Rahn Financing of PT Bank Syariah Indonesia with a t value of 7.811 and a significant value of 0.000. Simultaneously the inflation rate and gold price affect the distribution of Rahn Financing of PT Bank Syariah Indonesia with an F value of 30.81 and a significance of 0.000 and can be seen from the regression coefficient test (R2) the inflation rate and gold price fluctuations affect the distribution of Rahn Financing of PT Bank Syariah Indonesia by 64.4% and the remaining 35.6% is influenced by other factors outside the research model.

Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Entities (EMKM) are productive business opportunities owned by individuals or individual business entities that meet the criteria of micro businesses regulated by law. The purpose of this research is to implement and analyze the factors of SAK EMKM needs for EMKM in Jember Regency. The data used in this study are primary data sourced from questionnaires given to EMKM owners in Jember Regency. The results showed that simultaneously the independent variables consisting of owner education, IT understanding, qualitative characteristics of financial statements, SAK EMKM socialization, and business scale had a significant effect on the dependent variable, namely the perceived need for SAK EMKM in Jember Regency. Partially, owner education, IT understanding, qualitative characteristics of financial statements, SAK EMKM socialization, and business scale have a positive effect on the perception of SAK EMKM in Jember Regency.

Abstract

The Regional Revenue Agency of Bondowoso Regency (Bapenda) is a governmental institution that operates and holds responsibilities in the field of regional revenue. The objective of this research is to analyze the SWOT of transitioning to an electronic BPHTB management system to prevent tax fraud, focusing on Bapenda of Bondowoso Regency. The method used is qualitative descriptive, and data collection is conducted through interview, observation, and documentation techniques. This research gathers data from interviews with employees of Bapenda Bondowoso in the BPHTB field, followed by data management using the SWOT matrix, as well as the IFAS and EFAS matrices. The IFAS research results show a strength score of 1.59 and a weakness factor of 0.68, resulting in an X value of 0.91. The EFAS research results indicate an opportunity factor of 1.8 and a threat factor of 0.8, resulting in a Y value of 1.0. With these results, it is determined that the position is in quadrant 1, as it has positive X and Y values. This signifies that Bapenda of Bondowoso Regency can adopt an aggressive strategy, indicating a strong and potential position for the institution.

Abstract

This study investigates the relationship between management students' investment decisions and their financial literacy, knowledge, and motivation at Dr. Soetomo University in Surabaya. A total of 308 students from this academic program were chosen for the study using purposive sampling techniques, guaranteeing that the study's population is representative of the student body. We distributed carefully crafted questionnaires for data collection through Google Forms as part of the methodology used in this study. Purposive sampling methods are used to ensure the student body is well represented. We meticulously examined the gathered data using a variety of statistical methods. Among these were evaluations of reliability and validity, analyses of multiple linear regression, tests of classical assumptions, evaluations of correlation coefficients, and F and t-tests. This study uncovered insightful relationships between students' financial literacy, investment knowledge, motivation, and investment decisions. The study found no statistically significant impact of financial literacy on investment decisions, contrary to expectations. The results of the study, however, highlighted the importance of respondents' unique investment knowledge and motivation in molding their investment choices. Students' level of financial literacy, investment knowledge, and investment motivation significantly impacted their investment decisions as a whole. By considering these factors in context, we can better understand the complex dynamics at work when management students at Dr. Soetomo University make investment decisions.

Abstract

This research discusses brand image and brand awareness which have an important role in influencing the success of beverage businesses in the international market. The case study on Mixue Condet Raya provides a specific focus on the relevant context to gain deeper insights. This research has urgency in providing a better understanding of how brand image and brand awareness can shape the success of beverage businesses in the international market. The results of the research can provide strategic guidance to businesses in managing their brands effectively. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with survey methods, interviews, and is assisted by SWOC Analysis to identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and challenges in Mixue's success on an international scale. This research can help Mixue Condet Raya to be able to maintain its business on an international scale, especially Indonesia.
