Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the use of social media on the psychological development of elementary school children. The purpose of this research is to describe the impact of using social media as an alternative for children's learning. This study uses literature review and analysis of scientific references related to the theme of the influence of social media on psychological development in elementary school children. The results of this study indicate that the role of parents and educators is very important, because that way they can supervise their children at home. Not only parents can supervise children, but educators at school must also supervise students. And also as parents, they should limit cellphones to children, for example every 4 hours so that children don't play social media or other things too often. Because control from educators and parents must be there for every child's development.

Abstract

The development of a rating scale for angry behaviour and temper tantrum includes the preparation of a 40-item rating scale. Trials involving 50 infants with empirical validity and reliability tests. Validity test using the SPSS (statistical package for the social sciences) application. Results from the empirical validity test showed that there were 31 valid elements among the 40 tested and analyzed elements. The valid index varies between 0.259 and 0.643. The Cronbach's Alpha index or rtt = 0.832 (rtt > 0.07) means that the rating scale for angry behavior & temper tantrums is reliable.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between self-concept and conformity with the tendency of the Hedonic Lifestyle in Sidoarjo City. This research is a quantitative type. Sampling was done by random sampling. The sample used in this study were teenagers in the city of Sidoarjo, totaling 60 teenagers. The data collection tool used uses the Self-Concept, Conformity and Hedonic scales. Results of Statistical Analysis Correlation Test Spearman's Rho test shows the value of rho x1y: -0.083 with sig. or p : 0.530 (p>0.05), this shows that hypothesis 1 is rejected. This means that there is no correlation between self-concept and hedonism. rho x2y ; 0.316 with sig. or p : 0.014 (p <0.05), this indicates that the 2 hypotheses are accepted, meaning that there is a significant positive correlation between conformity and hedonism behavior. The positive direction means that the higher the peer conformity, the higher the hedonism

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adakah hubungan antara perilaku memaafkan dengan subjective well-being pada wanita janda bercerai. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah wanita yang mengalami cerai gugat (janda cerai). Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 40 wanita bercerai yang diambil secara random. Alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah skala Perilaku Memaafkan dan skala Subjective well-being (kesejahteraan atau kebahagiaan subjektif). Uji hipotesis menggunakan program SPSS (Stastistical Package For The Social Sciences)-2.0 dengan menu program Analisis korelasi Rho Spearman. Hasil uji korelasi didapatkan Indeks korelasi rho xy = 0,921 dengan p = 0,000 (p < 0,01).Hal ini menunjukkan bawa hipotesis diterima artinya ada korelasi positif yang sangat signifikan antara Perilaku Memaafkan dengan Subjective Well-being pada Wanita Bercerai. Abstract

Covid-19 had a psycological impact on the Indonesia people, especially in Tulungagung. one of the psycological effect experienced in anxiety. Covid-19 survivors are easily suffering a susceptible to anxiety. But some theories suggest that anxiety can be overcome by providing family support. This study was aimed at identifying the relationship between family support and anxiety for COVID-19 survivors in Tulungagung. The method used is quantitative correlation with the total population, namely Covid-19 survivors as of July 2021, which are 3389 people. From this population, a accidental sampling technique was used with the criteria for Covid-19 survivorship with a 10% probability sampling, and obtained sample of 251 people. The data analysis technique used is the Spearman Rho correlation test (non-parametric). The results showed that there was a correlation between the variables of family support and anxiety which was indicated by a significance of 0.00 with a strong negative relationship, indicated by the correlation coefficient of -0.608. This relationship means that if the family support variable increasses, the level of anxiety variable will decrease, vice versa. The results of the study are expected to be able to become a deeper reference for similar research and are expected to be able to serve as a guideline for the front line of health overcoming Covid-19 in curing patients, especially tackling the patient's level of anxiety.

Abstract

Parents are the main figure in the family, especially for children. The future of children also depends on the role of parents, especially in children who have special needs, in this case children with slow learner (slow learning). They need extra attention in everything, one of them in terms of learning. Providing motivation or encouragement to slow learners is an important role for parents. This study aims to determine how the role of parents in increasing learning motivation in slow learner children in SDI Al Huda 2 Full Day Program Kediri in the 2018/2019 school year. The type of research used is a qualitative approach using case studies. The research subjects were parents (guardians of students) and slow learner children at SDI Al Huda 2 Full Day Program. Data collection techniques in this study were obtained by interviews, observation, and documentation. Data obtained by researchers, analyzed by means of data reduction and conclusion. The results of the study are that the role of parents (father and mother) is a task and responsibility for their children to educate, guide, assist, provide good examples, and in the formation of character. The role of parents determines the level of motivation possessed by slow leraner children. Slow learner children need special attention and assistance in achieving learning goals. Abstract

The university students in six ASEAN Countries have 11,7% of suicidal ideation and 2,4% of suicide attempts. Suicidal ideation is a person’s thoughts to end his/her life, while attempted suicide is the behavior of self harm-with the intention to die. The reasons are hopelessness, depression, relationship break-up, lack of social support, financial crisis, and academic stress. Therefore, there are prevention programs to reduce the impact of these maladaptive thoughts and behaviors. This review aims to provide a comprehensive overview of how suicide prevention programs can give positive effects on reducing suicidal ideation and suicide attempt. Data were collected from five databases, which included Google Scholar, ResearchGate, Sciencedirect, JStore, and Emerald. This study synthesized the finding of 10 studies published from 2018 to 2022. The results reveal some suicide prevention programs to overcome suicide by reducing suicidal ideation and suicide attempts. The programs consist of university suicide prevention programs such as psychoeducation, training, and peer leadership; screening tools to know a student with a high risk of mental health problems connected with suicide; gatekeeping training for lecturers, university administrators, and counselors; curriculum evolved mental health; and peer to peer support programs. Furthermore, the involvement of the university is important to focus on the community, use technology, and make networking between educational institutions and mental health services. Assessment is needed to give data about students with a high risk of suicidal ideation and suicide attempt. The result of prevention programs reduce suicidal thoughts and behavior by understanding and giving social support to students.

Abstract

Overseas students are students who study in a different place from their place of origin. Overseas students tend to face more serious problems than non-overseas students and also different psychological pressures, one of which is academic stress. Meanwhile, hardiness is needed to minimize academic stress on overseas students. This study aims to determine the effect of hardiness on academic stress in overseas students. This research was conducted on overseas students of UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah class of 2019 until 2022. The number of samples in this study was 384 respondents. This research is research using quantitative methods with a comparative causal approach. The sampling technique in this study used a purposive sampling technique. Meanwhile, the data collection used in this study used a hardiness scale and an academic stress scale which were tested by validity and reliability tests. The data analysis technique in this study used simple regression assisted by SPSS V 22. From the research results obtained by the researcher, it is known that the results of the regression are p = 0.001 which is symbolized by p <0.05 and the R Square value is 0.27 or 2, 7%. The results in this study indicate that the hypothesis that has been proposed is accepted, namely that there is an effect of hardiness on academic stress in UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung overseas students with a negative significance direction.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara Konsep Diri dengan Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) pada Remaja Pengguna Instagram. Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) adalah ketakutan yang mendalam bahwa orang lain mungkin memiliki pengalaman berharga yang tidak terlewatkan dan individu ingin untuk selalu terhubung dengan pengalaman orang lain. Subjek pada penelitian yaitu Remaja di Kabupaten Jombang yang memiliki gawai dan media sosisal Instagram yang berjumlah 110 responden. Teknik pengambilan data dilakukan secara online dengan google form menggunakan teknik purposive insidental sampling. Berdasarkan dari hasil analisis uji korelasi Spearman’s rho, maka diperoleh nilai koefisien korelasi (r rho) = -0,346 dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 (ρ <0,05). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat korelasi negatif yang signifikan antara Konsep Diri dengan Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) pada Remaja Pengguna Instagram. Abstract

This study aims to understand the emotional regulation of classroom teachers in dealing with children with special needs at SLB Nurul Ikhsan Ngadiluwih, Kediri Regency. The focus of this research is to find out how the classroom teacher's emotional regulation deals with children with special needs at SLB Nurul Ikhsan Ngadiluwih, Kediri Regency, the factors that influence the emotional regulation of class teachers in handling children with special needs at SLB Nurul Ikhsan Ngadiluwih, Kediri Regency. This study used a qualitative method with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews with class teachers at SLB Nurul Ikhsan Ngadiluwih. The data were analyzed thematically by identifying common patterns of emotion regulation used by classroom teachers and the factors that influence those processes. The results of the study show that classroom teacher emotional regulation plays an important role in dealing with children with special needs at SLB Nurul Ikhsan Ngadiluwih. Teachers use a variety of strategies, such as self-regulation, social support, relaxation techniques, and creating stable routines, to help students self-regulate their emotions. Factors that affect the classroom teacher's emotional regulation include education and training, work experience, support and collaboration, physical and social environment, and availability of resources. Teachers who have good knowledge and skills in emotion regulation can create an inclusive, positive, and supportive learning environment for children with special needs.
