Abstract

This research generally discuss about social and economic conditions in Kersik Tuos Village as a Tourism Destination, were Kerinci mountain become favorites choice for montain climber, which one this icons located in Kerinci Seblat National Park area with an altitude of 3805 Masl. Kersik Tuo Village has long been a center of mobility as well as a transit point for tourists, and also the people also provides various kinds of needed for tourists. There are many of social and economic relations that exist in the community, for this reason the people of Kersik Tuo Village do not really see a tourism as a field to advance the community's economy. The purpose of this research is to explain the socio-economic conditions of the Mount Kerinci tourism support community in Kersik Tuo in 2013-2018 and to explain the people's role of Kersik Tuo in Supporting Mount Kerinci Tourism. The research method that used in this research is historical research, that combines Heuristik, critically resources, Interpretation and historiography. The result of this research, Kersik Tuo Village is a village that nearest from Kerinci mountain. The population in Kersik Tuo mostly in agriculture and trade. The tourism have an effect for Social¬ - Economic conditions of the Tersik Tuo society as a support for Mount Kerinci Tourism and always advancement from 2013 until 2018. This is added with people that participating in sector, like a service industry, trademark, etc. The people realize that the tourism is important to developed Kersik Tuo village.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze: The effect of profitability, leverage, company size, managerial ownership, free cash flow on earnings management in manufacturing companies in the consumer goods industry listed on the IDX in 2015-2019. Earnings management is measured by discretionary accruals with the modified Jones model. The population in this study were all manufacturing companies in the consumer goods industry listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange with a sample size of 13 companies. The data used in this study are data on manufacturing companies in the consumer goods industry listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2015-2019 using panel data regression. The results of this study indicate that profitability has no significant effect on earnings management. Leverage has a significant effect on earnings management. Firm size has no significant effect on earnings management. Managerial ownership has a significant effect on earnings management. Free cash flow has no significant effect on earnings management. Profitability, leverage, firm size, managerial ownership, free cash flow simultaneously have a significant effect on earnings management.Keywords: Profitability, Leverage, Company Size, Managerial Ownership, Free Cash Flow and Earnings Management

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh ketertarikan peneliti untuk mengetahui kekurangan dalam menulis skripsi yang terjadi pada thesis mahasiswa wisuda angkatan 59 Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris di STKIP PGRI Sumatera Barat. Ada beberapa kekurangan yang peneliti temukan dalam thesis siswa pada saat pre observasi seperti ketidaktepatan penggunaan conjunction, transition, cause effect dan comparison contrast namun peneliti hanya fokus pada analisis comparison and contrast pada skripsi mahasiswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah ada penggunaan comparison and contrast dalam skripsi mahasiswa dan menganalisis ketepatan atau ketidak tepatan penggunaan comparison and contrast. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode dokumen analisis. Populasi penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 21 skripsi mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris STKIP PGRI Sumatera Barat wisuda ke 59. Penelitian ini menggunakan purposive sampling sebanyak 14 skripsi mahasiswa yang telah di analisi. Peneliti menggunakan dokumen analisis sebagai instrument pada penelitian ini. Pengumpulan data dengan cara membaca dan mencari data analisis pada skripsi  mahasiswa wisuda ke 59. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dari 21 skripsi mahasiswa di temukan 14 dokumen yang menggunakan comparison and contrast dan ditemukan penggunaan  yang tepatguna dan tidak tepatguna.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the types of rewards and punishments used by teachers in learning English at SMPN 2 Jujuhan. The purpose of this research is to find information about what types of rewards and punishments are used by teachers. This research is a qualitative research with descriptive method. The participants in this study were one English teacher at SMPN 2 Jujuhan and students who received rewards and punishments from the teacher in the classroom. To collect data, researchers used instruments, namely observation checklists and interviews. Researchers obtained data on how the role of teachers in using the types of reward and punishment in the classroom, as well as conducting interviews with students who received rewards and punishments in the classroom as participants. Based on the data analysis, the researcher concluded that the English teacher at SMPN 2 Jujuhan used reward and punishment during English language learning. Of the 4 types of rewards and 2 types of punishment studied, the English teacher at SMPN 2 Jujuhan uses three types of rewards, namely: social rewards, token rewards, material rewards, while two types of punishment are used: presentation punishment, and removal punishment.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Kecerdasan Emosional,Kepercayaan Diri, Penguatan Positif, Lingkungan Teman Sebaya, Terhadap Hasil Belajar Ekonomi Siswa Kelas XI IPS  Melalui Motivasi Sebagai  Variabel Intervening Di SMA Negeri 1 Airpura Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Kecerdasan Emosional berpengaruh signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar siswa di SMAN 1 Kecamatan Airpura, dengan nilai koefisien jalur sebesar 0,341. 2) Kepercayaan Diri berpengaruh signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar siswa di SMAN 1 Kecamatan Airpura, dengan nilai koefisien jalur sebesar 0,204. 3) Penguatan Positif berpengaruh signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar siswa di SMAN 1 Kecamatan Airpura, dengan nilai koefisien jalur sebesar 0,480. 4) Lingkungan Teman Sebaya berpengaruh signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar siswa di SMAN 1 Kecamatan Airpura, dengan nilai koefisien jalur sebesar 0,187. 5) Kecerdasan Emosional berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa di SMAN 1Kecamatan Airpura, dengan nilai koefisien jalur sebesar 0,280. 6) Kepercayaan Diri berpengaruh signifikan  terhadap hasil siswa di SMAN 1 Kecamatan Airpura, dengan nilai koefisien jalur sebesar 0,204. 7) Penguatan Positif berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa di SMAN 1 Kecamatan Airpura, dengan nilai koefisien jalur sebesar 0,303. 8) Lingkungan Teman Sebaya berpengaruh signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar siswa di SMAN 1 Kecamatan Airpura, dengan nilai koefisien jalur sebesar 0,172. 9) Motivasi Belajar  berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa di SMAN 1 Kecamatan Airpura, dengan nilai koefisien jalur sebesar 0,239.

Abstract

Salah satu tujuan pembelajaran matematika di sekolah adalah agar siswa mampu memahami konsep matematika. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimanakah kemampuan matematis siswa kelas X MIPA 6 SMA Negeri 12 Padang. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X MIPA 6 SMA Negeri 12 Padang yang berjumlah 36 siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes kemampuan pemahaman konsep berupa 6 soal berbentuk essay dan wawancara. Hasil tes dianalisis berdasarkan indikator pemahaman konsep. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa hasil analisis data kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa dari 36 siswa yang diujikan diperoleh kualifikasi total skor keseluruhannya adalah 45% berada pada kategori kurang. Kualifikasi total skor kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa berdasarkan analisis setiap indikator pada pemahaman konsep adalah sebagai berikut: pada indikator menyatakan ulang sebuah konsep adalah 82% berada pada kategori tinggi, mengklasifikasikan objek-objek menurut sifat-sifat tertentu (sesuai dengan konsepnya) adalah 50% berada pada kategori sedang, memberikan contoh dan non contoh dari konsep adalah 56% berada pada kategori sedang, menyajikan konsep dalam bentuk representasi matematis adalah 33% berada pada kategori kurang, mengembangkan syarat perlu atau syarat cukup dari suatu konsep adalah 66% berada pada kategori sedang, dan mengaplikasikan konsep atau algoritma pemecahan masalah adalah 30% berada pada kategori kurang.

Abstract

This research was motivated by student responses to English teaching materials in Google Classroom and Whatsapp at SMAN 07 Muko-Muko for the academic year 2021/2022. This research is a qualitative research with a descriptive method that aims to analyze and see the types of responses when given English teaching materials through the Google Classroom and Whatsapp applications. The total sample in this study was 71 students from 4 classes. Data were collected by researchers by distributing questionnaires to students directly with a total of 20 statements related to student responses to English teaching materials. There are three types of response types, namely cognitive, affective, and conative responses. The results of this study indicate that the dominant students have an Affective response to English teaching materials in Google Classroom and Whatsapp as a medium in learning. However, of all the types of responses given by students, Affective responses were the most common type found to students.Keywords: Types of Responses, Teaching Materials, Google Classroom, WhatsApp.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the assessment mechanisms and procedures in accordance with 2013 curriculum rules. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. Subjects in this study were mathematics teachers in class VIII SMP Negeri 18 Padang, amounting to two teachers. The instruments used in this study include documentation, observation, and interviews. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, presentation, data verification, and data triangulation. The results of this study indicate (a) in terms of the assessment mechanism of eighth grade mathematics teachers at SMPN 18 Padang not yet perfect in implementing the assessment mechanism stipulated in Permendikbud No. 23 of 2016 The imperfect indicators are 1) carry out attitude assessments with various assess,emt techniques, 2) carry out skills assessments with varios asessment techiques. (b) in terms of the assessment procedure for eighth grade mathematics teachers at SMPN 18 Padang, it is also perfect to carry out the assessment procedures stipulated in Ministry of Education and Culture Regulation No. 23 of 2016. As for the imperfect indicators, namely 1) determining the purpose of the assessment, 2) make analysis of instrument quality, 3) processing, analyzing, and interpreting the assessment, 4) reprting the reults of the assessment, 5) utilizing the results of the asessment report.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari tahu persepsi siswa SMA terhadap Pekerjaan Rumah (PR) Bahasa Inggris di Mentawai. Desain penelitian ini adalah penelitian survey. Instrument yang digunakan adalah Questionnaire. Saat pengumpulan data, peneliti menggunakan angket. Data angket diperoleh dengan menggunakan Skala Likert sebagai petunjuk bagi siswa dalam menjawab 10 pernyataan. Terdapat 4 pilihan jawaban dalam Skala Likert yaitu: sangat tidak setuju, tidak setuju, setuju dan sangat setuju. Dalam menganalisis data angket, data dianalisis disusun kedalam tabel dan dipersentasikan kemudian hasilnya diterjemahkan kedalam bahasa Inggris dan disimpulkan. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah siswa SMA Negeri 1 Sipora kelas X yang terdiri dari 4 kelas dengan jumah 125 siswa. Akan tetapi yang menjawab angket hanya 105 siswa. Partisispan ditentukan dengan menggunakan metode simple random sampling. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapatkan hasil dan kesimpulan bahwa siswa SMA Negeri 1 Sipora berpersepsi bahwa PR bahasa Inggris itu penting, perlu dan bermanfaat bagi mereka; mereka tahu tujuan PR dan itu adalah bagian dari nilai kelas mereka. Siswa senang mengerjakan PR individu dan kelompok. Sebagian dari mereka menyukai banyak PR tetapi sebagiannya lagi tidak. PR bukanlah pekerjaan sibuk karena mereka mempunyai waktu yang cukup untuk mengerjakannya. Mengerjakan PR bahasa Inggris adalah hal yang menyenangkan bagi mereka.Kata Kunci: persepsi, Pekerjaan Rumah (PR)
