Abstract

Student activity is an important aspect in classical guidance services, because it reflects the emotional and social involvement of students. However, in practice, students often remain passive during the service. This research aims to increase student activity through the application of the Team Games Tournament (TGT) method in classical guidance services. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (PTK) with one cycle involving the stages of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The research results showed a significant increase in student activity: before the action only 1 student (2.63%) was classified as active, whereas after the implementation of TGT, as many as 34 students (89.47%) were classified as active. Discussion activities, courage to express opinions, and student reflection on the material have increased. In conclusion, the application of the TGT method has proven to be effective in increasing student activity and can be an innovative alternative strategy in implementing classical guidance services.

Abstract

The problem in this study is the low activity of children, children's creativity in fine motor skills activities, this is due to the lack of interesting activities that stimulate children. Efforts to solve this problem are using the Project Based Learning Model with the Demonstration Method. The purpose of the study is to describe teacher activities, children's activities, creativity and analyze fine motor development. The approach used is a qualitative approach with the type of Classroom Action Research (CAR). The setting of this study was group A1 of Putra II Banjarmasin Kindergarten with 20 children. Data collection used observation techniques, assessment of teacher activities, children's activities, and results of fine motor development. The findings showed that teacher activity reached very good criteria at meeting 4. Children's activity reached 100% with very active criteria at meeting 4. Children's creativity reached 100% with very creative criteria at meeting 4. And the results of fine motor development reached 100% with BSB interpretation at meeting 4. It is recommended for head teachers, principals and further researchers to be one alternative when choosing an overall learning model.

Abstract

The reason for this study is to depict the improvement in the nature of educator exercises, understudy learning exercises, and understudy learning results. in the wake of learning is completed utilizing the RAGAM learning model. Abstract

The problem in this study is the low activity, motivation, and results of children's language development in mentioning letter symbols. The cause of this problem is the lack of active involvement of children in the learning process because learning is one-way, learning is less interesting, learning is abstract, and learning is less varied. The solutions provided are through the problem based learning model, make a match, and guess the word. The purpose of this study is to describe teacher activities, and analyze the increase in children's activities, learning motivation, and the results of the development of language aspects in mentioning letter symbols.This research approach uses qualitative with the type of PTK. The research was conducted in Group B of TK Negeri Tamban, involving 12 children as participants. The results of the study showed that Teacher Activities increased until meeting 4 reached a score of 23. Children's Activity increased until meeting 4 reached a percentage of 100%. Children's Learning Motivation increased until meeting 4 to 100%. The results of Children's Language Development in Mentioning Letter Symbols increased at every meeting until meeting 4 reaching 100%. This study can serve as input for teacher training, as an alternative learning model, and as a reference for future research.

Abstract

The problem in this study is the low creativity of students in learning. Students' difficulty in understanding the material presented by the teacher is one of the factors that causes this. In addition, the learning resources in the lesson are still incomplete, so to complete the material, it is necessary to search one by one for each part. These two factors result in low levels of student creativity. This problem can be overcome by implementing the READING combination learning model. This study aims to explain the activities of teachers and students, analyze the increase in creativity and student learning outcomes. This study is a type of Classroom Action Research which is carried out with 4 meetings. The subjects of this study were 12 fourth grade students of SDN Banua Anyar 4 Banjarmasin. This research was conducted in semester 2, academic year 2023/2024. This study uses a qualitative approach. The data presented in this study are qualitative data obtained from observations of teacher and student activities, as well as student creativity. Quantitative data in this study were obtained from student learning outcomes. The results of this study stated that teacher activity at the first meeting scored 18, the second meeting scored 20, the third meeting scored 25 and the fourth meeting scored 27. The percentage of children's activity at the first meeting was 50%, the second meeting 58%, the third meeting 68%, and the fourth meeting 83%. Percentage of children's creativity in first meeting was 25%, the second 50%, the third 75%, and the fourth 100%. This has an impact on student learning outcomes, at the first meeting, student learning outcomes got a percentage of 58%, the second 58%, the third 75%, and the fourth 92%. Abstract

This study aims to analyse the effectiveness of creative education methods in improving children's basic English skills at Rumah Baca Egad Kairos, a non-formal learning space established by Putri Papua from Maybrat. The activities are conducted free of charge every Saturday and Sunday and target primary and secondary school children in the 3T region of West Papua. The creative educational methods employed include language games, songs, picture cards, and enjoyable, participatory small-group discussions. The study adopts a descriptive qualitative approach with simple quantitative elements (mixed method), as well as a Participatory Action Research (PAR) design across two cycles. Data was collected through participatory observation, pre-tests and post-tests, interviews, and activity documentation. The research results showed a significant improvement in children's vocabulary mastery and speaking confidence. The average pre-test and post-test scores increased from 47% to 70% (elementary school) and from 50% to 80% (junior high school). Additionally, the children demonstrated enthusiasm for learning, self-confidence, and active engagement in the learning process. The creative educational method proved effective in improving English language skills and can serve as a relevant contextual learning strategy for strengthening children's literacy in the 3T region community.

Abstract

Lack of understanding related to career planning will affect the process of making career decisions for the future and career planning as a way to prepare and equip students to be ready and mature to face various challenges regarding careers in the future. The results of observations conducted in class X 12 SMA Negeri 7 Kediri showed a lack of understanding of career planning. This research was conducted as an effort to improve students' understanding of career planning through classical action services. By using concept map. The research was conducted with three meetings, pre-action, cycle I and cycle II. Each cycle was carried out with the same stages, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. The research subjects were students of class X 12 totaling 36 students. The results of the questionnaire analysis showed an increase in the understanding of career planning of students indicated by the average value at pre-action 63%, then in cycle I increased to 68% and in cycle II 73% which means effective in improving career planning with concept maps in students

Abstract

The problem in this study is the low level of children's activity, cooperation, and cognitive aspects in recognizing number concepts and symbols. The cause of the problem occurs due to the use of learning models that are less innovative and creative, and the lack of children's participation during learning. The solution is to use a combination of Problem Based Learning and Make A Match Models with interesting teaching materials. The purpose of this study is to describe teacher activities, analyze the increase in activity, cooperation, cognitive aspects in recognizing number concepts and symbols. The type of classroom action research was carried out in 4 meetings. The subjects of the study were 16 children in Group A at the Baitul Makmur Islamic Integrated Preschool, Banjarmasin. The results showed that teacher activity reached very good criteria, children's activity reached 100% of the criteria for all active children, cooperation reached 100% of the criteria for all active children, and cognitive development reached 100% of the BSB criteria. It is recommended to use this model as an alternative for developing children's cognitive aspects in recognizing number concepts and symbols.

Abstract

The problem identified in this study is the low development of fine motor skills in Group B children, especially in pasting activities. This conditon is caused by a lack of activities that support fine motor skill development and the use of unappealing, less varied learning media in the classroom. The purpose of this research is to of describe teacher activities, analyze children’s engagement, and assess the outcomes of children’s fine motor skill development. The study used a qualitative approach with a classroom action research design conducted over four meetings. The subjects consisted of 11 children from Group B at TK Islam Madinaturramlah Banjarmasin, including six boys and five girls. Data were analyzed descriptively using tables and charts to present the results clearly and systematically. The findings a showed that teacher activty reached the “Very Good” category, children’s participation increased from 9% in the first meeting to 100% by the fourth, and pasting skills improved from 0% to 100%. In conclusion, the application of Project-Based Learning, demonstration methods, and natural materials effectively enhanced children’s fine motor skills. These findngs can be useful reference for principals, teachers, future researchers to improve the quality of early childhood learning and classroom instructional practices in schools.

Abstract

This study aims to develop gross motor skills of early childhood through the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model using the traditional game of balogo. The problem faced was the low coordination of gross motor movements among children at TK Putra II Banjarmasin, due to teacher-centered learning and lack of physical activity. The study used a qualitative approach with classroom action research (CAR) conducted in two cycles, each with two sessions. The subjects were 15 group B children. Research instruments included observation sheets for teacher activity, children’s activity, and gross motor skill development. Results showed improvements in teacher activity from 'sufficiently good' to 'very good', children’s activity from 'less active' to 'very active' (from 20% to 93%), and gross motor development from 'not yet developed' to 'very well developed' (from 7% to 93%). These findings indicate that the PBL model using the balogo game is effective in improving gross motor skills in early childhood.
