Abstract

This study was purposed to determine factors that influence students in utilizing the Youth Information and Counseling Center (PIK-R) at their school. This study uses a correlation research design with a cross sectional approach. The number of participant of this study are 36 students. Data analysis using Chi-Square techniques. The results of the study were 34 students (94.4%) had good knowledge about PIK-R, 34 students (94.4%) had positive attitudes towards PIK-R, 33 students (91.7%) had already exposed to sources of information about PIK-R, 34 students (94.4%) had used PIK-R in their daily life. Chi Square test results on knowledge variables show that there is a significant correlation between students knowledge of PIK-R, on attitude variable show that there is a significant correlation between students attitudes of PIK-R, and on exposure of information variables show that there is a significant correlation between sources of information with utilization of PIK-R.

Abstract

This studied aimed to described the form of parental involvement in kindergarten who have achievement in drawing. Parental involvement can be seen from the activities of (1) parenting, (2) communicating, (3) volunteering, (4) learning at home, (5) decision making, (6) collaborating with the community. This research method used qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. Six respondents were chosen by using purposive sampling technique. Data collection was carried out using interviews and field notes conducted on six parents of students who have achievement in drawing. The results showed that parents who did not work could involve themselves more real to support their children's achievements.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between parental attachment, namely the attachment of the father and the attachment of the mother to the ability of self-control in early adolescence. The population of this study was early adolescents with an age range of 12-15 years as many as 104 adolescents. Samples were taken using the total sampling method for students of SMP 'X' in Surabaya. There are two scales in this study, namely: IPPA-R (Inventory of Parent and Peer Attachment-Revised) and SCS (Self-Control Scale). The data analysis technique used regression test with the help of SPPS 21. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant and positive relationship between parental attachment and self-control ability, which means that the higher the parental attachment, the higher the self-control ability. Father's attachment contributed 63.3% relative to self-control, while mother's attachment contributed36.7% relative to self-control where father's attachment had a greater influence on early adolescent self-control ability than attachment to mother.

Abstract

This study aims to define whether there is a relationship between social support and academic procrastination in completing tasks for SMA 'Cendekia' Sidoarjo students. This research uses correlation quantitative conducted in SMA Cendekia with a total sample of 113 students, taken by saturated sampling. Data collection techniques in this study used two psychology scales models of Likert, namely the social support scale and the academic procrastination scale. These results write down that there is a negative relationship between social support and academic procrastination in completing tasks for SMA Cendekia Sidoarjo.

Abstract

Members of the submarine unit have limited and small environmental conditions that can affect the lives of members of the submarine unit. The life of a member of a submarine can pay attention to physical well-being and psychological well-being. The current study examined the impact of personality and work environment with psychological well-being among members of submarine unit Angkatan Laut Indonesia. A total of 86 members of submarine unit Angkatan Laut Indonesia were recruited through accidental sampling. The Measuring instruments were personality scales, work environment scale, and psychological well-being scale. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis techniques. The results showed that there was a simultaneous effect between personality and work environment on psychological well-being with a simultaneous contribution of 55.2%.

Abstract

Employees are the most important aspect to realize the vision and mission set by the company. One way to deal with it is to improve the performance of its employees. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of organizational commitment and leadership on the performance of PT. PAL Indonesia (Persero). Respondents in this study amounted to 65 employees, who were selected using a non-random sample sampling technique. The results showed that there was a simultaneous influence of organizational commitment and leadership variables on employee performance variables, with a magnitude of influence of 41.8%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between peer social support and religiosity with psychological well-being in AAL level II cadets independently and simultaneously. The number of respondents was 100 AAL Cadets Level II students taken by saturated sampling technique. The results showed that there was a simultaneous relationship between peer social support and religiosity with psychological well-being. The findings also show that peer social support and religiosity show a positive relationship towards psychological well-being.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the relationship between competence and work environment with safety behavior in seafarers at PT. ASDP Surabaya independently and simultaneously. Respondents were 41 seafarers at PT. ASDP Surabaya, taken using incidental sampling technique. The data were analyzed using multiple correlation and product moment techniques. The results of the study show that there is a relationship between competence, work environment, and safety behavior in seafarers at PT. ASDP Surabaya and the direction of the relationship is positive. The results showed that the level of safety behavior among seafarers at PT. ASDP Surabaya was in the moderate category.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between hardiness and self-efficacy with problem focused coping on crew members of KRI 'X' Indonesian Navy with Single status in Surabaya. Respondent ABK KRI 'X' Indonesian Navy in Surabaya who has a single status. A total of 60 respondents were selected using a saturated sampling technique. The scale used in this study is the hardiness scale, self-efficacy scale, and problem focused coping scale. The analysis technique used is product moment correlation and multiple correlation. The results showed that there was a simultaneous relationship between hardiness and self-efficacy with problem focused coping. The findings also show that hardiness and self-efficacy show a positive direction towards problem focused coping. The results of this study can be used as a reference related to the problem of problem focused coping on crew members of the KRI Navy who are single.

Abstract

The workplace is dominated by millennial workers, and this trend is expected to continue. Although millennial workers are capable of doing their jobs quickly, intelligently, and effectively, corporate citizenship behavior among millennial workers is still underdeveloped. Perceived organizational support is one of the variables that affects organizational citizenship behavior. The purpose of this research is to ascertain how millennial workers in Makassar City's organizational citizenship behavior is influenced by perceived organizational support. The quantitative method and correlational research design are both used in this work. There were 230 participants in this research, all of whom worked as millennials in Makassar city. The Organizational Citizenship Behavior Scale (OCBS) and the Survey of Perceived Corporate Support were used to measure outcomes (SPOS). These findings of this study show that perceived organizational support makes a major contribution to organizational citizenship behavior in millennial employees at Makassar City by 28,8%
