Abstract

Basically, media is something that cannot be separated from the learning component. The use of unattractive and varied media can make students bored and bored when the learning process takes place. This research was conducted with the aim of developing or producing a learning media product based on the use of virtual reality technology. The method used in this research is the research and development (RD) method. This media development focuses on learning Natural Sciences for grade V Elementary Schools. The initial stage of this research is by validating media experts and material experts. Then test the feasibility of media products to the teacher before testing the product to students. The results of the validation by media experts and material experts obtained criteria strongly agree with the results of validation by media experts by 85% and material experts by 92%. Then the media feasibility test conducted by the teacher obtained 89% results with the criteria strongly agree. The feasibility of media products for use by students was carried out through product trials at SDS Muhammadiyah 9 Jakarta with a total of 21 students. The results obtained show a percentage of 86% with very agree criteria.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan hasil belajar kimia siswa terhadap penerapan KTSP dan kurikulum 2013. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan adalah metode survei. Populasi  yaitu 3 sekolah favorit di Banda Aceh yaitu SMA 10 Fajar Harapan, SMA Negeri 3 dan SMA LAB School. Pemilihan sampel secara purposive sampling didapat 2 kelas XI IPA-1 dan XI IPA-2 masing-masing SMA. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa lembar angket tanggapan siswa terhadap kurikulum 2013. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa adanya perbedaan antara hasil belajar kimia KTSP dengan kurikulum 2013 yaitu lebih besar nilai hasil belajar kimia dengan penerapan kurikulum 2013 dari pada hasil belajar dengan penerapan KTSP yaitu SMA 10 Fajar Harapan sebesar thit=7,33ttabel=1,72 untuk XI-IPA 1 dan XI-2 yaitu thit=6,46ttabel=1,72, SMA LAB School XI-IPA 1 sebesar thit=6,84ttabel=1,70, IPA 2 thit=6,61ttabel=1,70 dan SMA 3 XI-IPA 1 sebesar thit=6,80ttabel=1,69 dan XI-IPA 2 yaitu thit=8,84ttabel=0,62, sedangkan angket siswa yang menjawab positif 50%.

Abstract

Teaching scientific literacy in schools is not easy, even though it is needed in education in the industrial era 4.0. This study aims to analyze the level of students' scientific literacy skills and their obstacles in school. This research was conducted on tenth graders at two Banjarmasin High Schools, namely SMA which applied the driving curriculum, and SMA which applied the 2013 curriculum. The number of research samples was 60 students who were taken using cluster random sampling. The results of the analysis show students' ability to explain phenomena scientifically, design and evaluate scientific inquiries, and interpret scientific data and evidence in each school in poor criteria (value 40), except to explain phenomena scientifically in group 1 in fairly good criteria (value = 52). The existence of obstacles is believed to interfere with student's ability to understand scientific literacy. These barriers are sourced from students' internal factors (STEM understanding, scientific processes) and are exacerbated by external factors (teachers' STEM literacy, learning atmosphere, infrastructure, assessment, and evaluation).

Abstract

 Newton's third law is a fundamental concept of Physics that is still not reached by students. The tendency of students who do not understand the concept well can be observed by measuring the ability of multi-representation and solutions when solving Physics problems. Therefore, this study aims to determine the concept of Newton's third law understood by students, the multi-representation students have, and the consistency of students' answers in answering physics questions. The participants numbered 28 students from the second semester of high school, selected using the purposive sampling technique, who had just completed discussions about Newton's Law and were willing to participate in this study. Participants were given 6 two-tier question items that managed the R-FCI questions. The results of the answers were analyzed quantitatively to determine the initial percentage description and then analyzed qualitatively to determine understanding, multi-representation ability, and consistency in depth. Most of the participants had low conceptual understanding and answered the questions consistent-wrong. However, based on the analysis of the answer choices and the reasons given, most students understand the meaning of the representation of the answers given

Abstract

Penelitian dengan pendekatan kualitatif ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan hasil miskonsepsi siswa dengan menggunakan three-tier diagnostic test dan four-tier diagnostic test pada materi gerak lurus di MAN Model Banda Aceh. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X MIA MAN Model Banda Aceh yang berjumlah 118 responden. Pengumpulan data diperoleh dengan tes diagnostik miskonsepsi. Pengolahan data menggunakan CRI (Certainty Respons Index) dan persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persentase instrumen three-tier diagnostic test sebesar 45% dan instrumen four-tier diagnostic test sebesar 31% sehingga perbandingan antara three-tier diagnostic test dan four-tier diagnostic test yaitu 3:2, artinya three-tier diagnostic test lebih banyak mendiagnostik miskonsepsi dibandingkan four-tier diagnostic test.

Abstract

Learning media can be arranged based on the results of literature studies from research on an object. This study aims to determine the feasibility of learning media booklet sawi dayak (Elephantopus mollis Kunth). The stages in this research include the stage of collecting information through a literature study on the efficacy of the mustard mustard plant, the booklet preparation stage, the booklet validation stage, and the booklet revision stage in accordance with the suggestions from the validators. Aspects that are assessed in the feasibility test are aspects of format, content, and language. The results of the validation were then analyzed using Gregory's calculations. The results of data analysis show that the aspects of format, content, and language each get a value of 1.00 and the average of these three aspects is 1.00 with a very high validity category. It is concluded that this booklet media can be used as a learning medium

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara hasil pembuatan mind mapping dengan hasil belajar mahasiswa. Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa Jurusan Pendidikan Kimia IAIN Ar-Raniry Letting 2010 sebanyak 49 orang mahasiswa, sedangkan yang menjadi sampelnya adalah mahasiswa Jurusan Pendidikan Kimia IAIN Ar-Raniry Letting 2010 unit I sebanyak 28 orang mahasiswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui lembar observasi, tes, angket dan rubrik mind mapping. Data yang diperoleh diolah dengan menggunakan rumus korelasi Product Moment Pearson yang hasil datanya diolah menggunakan SPSS 16. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan aktivitas mahasiswa dan mahasiswa terlihat antusias mengikuti kegiatan pembelajaran. Persentase keaktifan siswa pada pertemuan pertama sebesar 73,86% dan 93,18% pada pertemuan kedua. Hasil belajar mahasiswa dengan penggunaan metode mind mapping secara klasikal mencapai ketuntasan sebesar 89,29%. Persentase siswa yang memberi tanggapan positif terhadap penggunaan metode mind mapping mencapai 82,15%. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Terdapat hubungan yang positif antara hasil pembuatan mind mapping mahasiswa terhadap hasil belajar pada materi kromatografi kertas.

Abstract

Kelangsungan pendidikan selama pandemi ini tergantung pada berbagai faktor, salah satunya kesiapan guru. Dengan diberlakunya belajar dari rumah, guru difokuskan untuk menerapkan pembelajaran daring kepada siswa dengan memanfaatkan aplikasi/platform yang tersedia untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas pembelajaran. Persoalan yang muncul adalah apakah sekolah-sekolah di Aceh Utara beserta sumber dayanya sudah memiliki kesiapan untuk mengembangkan dan melaksanakan pembelajaran daring, dan sudah mampukah guru-guru di sekolah menyiapkan diri untuk mengimplementasikan pembelajaran daring. maka perlu diadakan penelitian lebih lanjut mengenai analisis kesiapan guru dalam mengimplementasikan pembelajaran daring di sekolah se Aceh Utara. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan ex post facto dan survey. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuisioner yang disebarkan di seluruh guru di Aceh Utara khusunya guru bidang IPA dan Matematika yang berjumlah 100 orang. Penelitian ini menggunakan alat ukur kesiapan yang dikemukakan oleh Aydin dan Tasci yang memiliki beberapa kriteria yang menjadi acuan dalam penilaian. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa skor rata-rata kesiapan guru dalam implementasi pembelajaran daring adalah 3,91. Berdasarkan kriteria yang ada maka kesiapan guru matematika dan guru fisika di Kabupaten Aceh Utara dalam penerapan pembelajaran daring adalah siap namun memerlukan sedikit peningkatan kemampuan dari guru dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran daring. Aspek kesiapan guru dalam penerapan pembelajaran daring yang memerlukan peningkatan kemampuan dalam skala menengah, diantaranya yaitu kemampuan guru dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran daring yang dapat meningkatkan proses belajar mengajar, kepeduliaan guru dalam penerapan pembelajaran daring di sekolah dan kemampuan untuk memadukan pembelajaran daring dengan pembelajaran di kelas.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana hubungan antara kerja ilmiah siswa dengan kualitas produk yang dihasilkan melalui praktikum pembuatan MOL kulit pisang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif deskriptif dengan design Pre experimental design tipe One Shot Case Study. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X SMA Islam Al-Islah Boarding School dengan jumlah 75 siswa yang terbagi menjadi 3 kelas. Melalui teknik Purposive sampling terpilih 1 kelas sebagai sampel yaitu kelas X-4 B dengan jumlah 28 siswa. Instrumen ini menggunakan lembar penilaian kerja ilmiah dan penilaian kualitas produk dengan model ratting scale. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan yang dilakukan, diperoleh pada penilaian kerja ilmiah rata-rata nilai yang didapat 3,3 dengan presentasi 81% dikategorikan baik sekali, dan penilaian kualitas produk yang dihasilkan siswa mendapat nilai rata-rata 3,7 dengan  presentasi 93% dengan kategori baik sekali. Dengan demikian bahwa dalam proses yang baik akan menghasilkan hasil akhir yang baik pula atau pelaksanaan kerja ilmiah berbanding lurus terhadap produk yang dihasilkan siswa.

Abstract

 Students in the millennial era are very dependent on the internet so that all activities cannot be separated from handphones. This condition can be used in learning, to assign students to look for information on the internet in doing assignments, compiling papers, and during presentation discussions. This study aims to determine the difference in scientific literacy before and after learning with information search on biology topics. This research with one group pretest-posttest design involving 26 students of UIN Sunan Ampel. Data collection techniques with tests. Tests are given before and after learning with information search. Data analysis was done by t-test, ANOVA, and regression. The calculation of the n-gain value was also carried out to determine the increase in scientific literacy.  T-test shows there are differences in students' scientific literacy before and after learning with information search. Although different, the increase is still low because of the n-gain value of 0.28 (low category). Based on the results of the ANOVA test, it can be seen that are differences in the dimensions of content, process, and process. Tukey test obtained the highest average on the content dimension. Information search has the best effect on content learning so that the content dimension contributes the most to scientific literacy
